I took our car in this morning for an oil change as well as asking them to check out a possible suspension issue in the front end. Terry and Valentine were both personable and knowledgeable, both taking the time to discuss the suspension issue. Everyone in the shop was friendly and very professional. The shop was one of the cleanest and well organized I've ever seen. Our previous shop in Portland was the exact opposite. Erik went for a test ride with me to assess the suspension issue and immediately had some ideas on what the problem might be. Voila! The oil got changed and the suspension issue turned out to be nothing. Prices were incredibly reasonable and I left with a feeling of confidence knowing our car had been expertly tended to. I called the shop in the am explaining the situation and they told me they could look at it that day. Mike was fantastic. He immediately dropped what he was doing (and the shop looked very busy) and made like I was his most important customer. He diagnosed the problem that morning, ordered the part. A wire within the ignition tumbler had burned up. The part had to be shipped from the east coast. The next day, the part arrived and the part was immediately installed. 20 hours ago New Got…read morea flat and had to buy 4 new tires to make it home to Spokane. Firestone was unfortunately the only option since it was a Sunday. Hours after they said the vehicle would be ready, we can finally head out. Two hours later one of the BRAND NEW TIRES blew leaving us stranded on the side of the road. So after spending over $700 for the tires, we also got to pay $450 to tow the vehicle the rest of the way home. Dealing with the store we bought the service from sucked. Dealing with the area manager was BARELY more helpful. Even if it's Sunday, I'd wait it out until Monday to go ANYWHERE else. I now feel stuck with these tires and I don't feel safe on the road, but i can't afford to purchase another set since I already bought these out of desperation.
