I was looking to "beef up" the sound of the exhaust on my new 2024 Nissan Frontier. The truck has such a mighty tough exterior and I wanted it to sound a bit more agressive to match its appearance. Frank took his time and explained multiple options. I'm not an 18 year old kid looking to shatter anyone's eardrums, including my own. Being that there are no pick up trucks like mine that change the stock exhaust I was unsure of which route to take. Ultimately Frank had suggested swapping out the stock 26 inch muffler with and 18 inch magnaflow. After driving it all day I am positive he guided me on the perfect route for exactly what I wanted. The exhaust has a nice growl inside and out while accelerating and when coasting at highway speeds it tones down a bit which I love because it has a nice mellow cruising output that is not overwhelming. I did my research before coming to Frank's shop. Based on reading reviews and seeing his handiwork first-hand, Performance Custom Exhaust seemed to be the best around. I was right. I initially came in to install an axle-back exhaust. Turns out I bought a muffler that wasn't specifically made for my car, and Frank advised me it would turn out shitty if he tried to jury rig it. In fact, he didn't wanna do it at all because it just wouldn't turn out right. This is the difference between a shop that will simply take your money and a shop that will educate you on how to do something correctly. We talked for a bit and I ended up going with a fully custom exhaust that Frank made for my vehicle. The car sounds as good as a naturally-aspirated, inline 4-banger is gonna get. Top-notch welds (all the way around), and he checked the system for exhaust leaks afterwards. This guy takes pride in his work, and it shows. Fair price and 5 outta 5, as far as workmanship goes. Awesome service here. After congratulating me on my recent purchase the owner quickly went to work swapping out my stock muffler and flapper afm valve. In its place a freer flowing muffler was installed. install took all of 40 minutes. The owner was great. I called up in the early afternoon and described what I was looking for. He told me he was finishing up something but he could do the work tomorrow or Friday - but also told me if I wanted immediate service, come on down in 30 minutes.
