    Very poor support during hardwood refinishing process…read more Initial refinishing was done with us out of town with no prior consultation on stain color and not even a mention of what finish we wanted (oil was selected for us without asking). They were gracious enough to redo but second experience was just as bad. I expressed a lot of concerns with making sure we were confident on stain and finish before proceeding. Leading up to redo I was told I had white oak floors (which was incorrect and misled our decision making) and had a in person consultation appointment essentially deemed a waste of time by Phil and cancelled. When it came time to redo floors, I received a call from Phil the night of sanding that demanded I make a decision on stain/finish choice right away so they could move on to another job, despite not all stain/finish options having even been applied yet (they forgot to bring water based options). The next day more samples were put down but I had little time to decide, or see how they looked in different lighting conditions which was an explicit request I had prior to the rework being done. I was also mistakenly told that the floor look I was trying to achieve (my previous floors before all of this) was an oil based finish which I later found out was water based instead. Now after sanding my floors twice I'm stuck with a look that is even worse than before and not what I was trying to achieve. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a company and the lack of support during the entire refinishing process, especially by the owner Phil during the remedy process, is something I hope nobody else has to go through. I wish I would've went with another company, even if meant paying for the work twice, if it allowed for better support and more time to decide on stain and finish.

    In the end, we did get our LVP installed (nice guys installers), BUT CAP (Emily in particular) did…read morenot make it easy. Calls and texts were never returned. We waited and waited on both the install, and a small repair we needed done after the install. It was, frankly, ODD how non responsive and uncooperative she was. Especially because you pay in full up front! After the install, there was a problem shutting one of our doors. A small repair was needed. Again called CAP, who kept dumping us on Emily. She took weeks to respond, and then said we would be charged. We asked to speak to a manager about this, because that was ridiculous, and she backed down. Very nice guy came and repaired the problem in 20 minutes. Unnecessarily poor customer service.

    We had a terrible experience with CAP Carpet. We reached out about an estimate for hardwood…read moreflooring and were connected to a design specialist. We were told that we would get measurements on a Friday then we would be invited into the showroom the following week to see options. I was clear with him that we were trying to get out ahead of things as we were closing on a new home and wanted to align flooring before we moved our things in. It took 3 weeks and multiple emails to get any quotes from the specialist. We ended up getting quotes with no explanation. I have asked follow up questions about the quotes and we either get no answer or an incoherent response. I asked him in an email if we could come in to discuss and he did not answer that question. Most recently, I asked a question about a quote 1 week ago and have not received a response. I called in to speak with a manager to inquire about the process and was told that I could leave a message for Megan. I never received a call back from Megan; instead, I received a call back from the specialist saying "i hear you called earlier". The management here does not care and is not even willing to have a conversation with a frustrated customer. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The specialist will give excuses about their lack of response and the management does not care enough to even entertain a customer's questions. Most recently, I made this review on Google and the owner replied with a lie. Not on a single occasion was I invited in to see the showroom. This company is absurdly unprofessional. I understand that others may have had good experiences, however, managements unwillingness to engage in a conversation and their willingness to lie in a public response speaks volumes to their level of care for the customer.
