While I wasn't too far off track on the general exercises, I learned from the excellent, skilled therapists at Patterson that I was doing several exercises entirely wrong, some were even detrimental to my rehab plan. I've never been to a PT office where a licensed, experienced PT spent the entire hour with me, offering guidance throughout the entire process. They pay close attention (without being annoying). And even though I was approved for weeks of PT, they are 'graduating' me early as a result of progress made, abiding by an honesty policy that Patterson is known for in the community; you can fully trust their work, dedication to healing and the friendly atmosphere. I came here because it was convenient for me with the hours and very close to my home. After my treatment my attorney could not get in contact with this place at all! It wasn't clean it was just horrible. My records still have yet to be sent after almost 1yr. Don't treat here!

Years ago both of my children received ST, OT, and PT through what was then Cypress Creek. The…read moretherapists that we worked with were incredible and we are forever indebted to them for all of the ways in which they helped our children thrive in their early years. Throughout our several years with the practice (Cypress Creek turned Motion PT), however, the inconsistency in therapists was a constant disruption. Just as soon as our children would become comfortable with the therapist working with them, that therapist would be gone without notice, which meant a change in scheduling and another new face to become acquainted with. Starting over every few weeks. The practice became a rotating door with our only consistency being our amazing PT, who is still there. The complaints that I heard from therapists who confided in me included that they were overbooked with no time to plan around a session for the next patient, were never given enough time for a thorough initial eval, often worked through lunches and other breaks, and so much more. One of our former therapists told us that the owner was only concerned about "getting more clients" and forcing 5-star google reviews because "what's good for the company is good for the therapist." Lots of business issues - including not getting paid for paperwork or communication, cancelations or no-shows. And no maternity leave, no raises, no bonuses. To always feel as though your child and family were just a number with an associated price tag was a yucky feeling. After taking a break from the practice for about five years, we returned a year ago for virtual ST. On February 21st, we received a call from our daughter's speech therapist telling us that that she had just gotten off of the phone with her supervisor from Motion PT and that, effective immediately, the office was cancelling all contracts with therapists offering telehealth abroad (our therapist was a WI native living in Iceland). We were to have a speech session just an hour later but she could no longer offer us the session. Cancelled yet charged by the practice (not our ST) for the session. A bill came many weeks later charging us for the session that never took place. I paid the $240 bill minus that $30 session. This evening, I received a second bill for the same full amount of $240 to include the session that never took place. I am well aware of there being a speech therapist shortage but we were promised to be linked up with a new speech therapist ASAP; that was nearly two months ago now. When speaking with the office coordinator after this latest debacle, I expressed my concern for every family that brings a child with extra needs there; the lack of consistency and never knowing if your therapist might stick around for longer than a few sessions was always disheartening. I wouldn't give this practice a single star. A practice is only as good as its leadership and when leadership consistently forces quality therapists to run for the hills because of the way they are mistreated, nobody wins. Do better, In Motion. I'll be by today to work out our billing issue that you can't seem to get straight.

I have been so thankful for his knowledge, as well as the other wonderful therapists I've worked with there, Sarah and Carol. I would highly recommend motion PT. I am now off the crutches, and I have not only been learning how to heal from my injury, but also how I can prevent it in the future through personalized exercises!

My physical therapy was great but they have misleading billing practices…read more I was told my responsible insurance co-pay was only $10 from the start of June to the end of Oct 2023. After my first required sessions were finished they wanted me to sign again with an only $10 copay. Sessions lasted 5 months. In November I got my FIRST BILL from them after 5 months totaling almost $500 with what they said was my responsibility after my insurance payments to ATI. Why wait 5 months to send my first bill, and when they realized I owed more $ month to month why wasn't my co-payment increased? They withheld this information thinking we would cancel the therapy is why. They will be reported to the BBB and consumer protection agency.

Without exception the physical therapists genuinely care about their patients and do their best to improve each person's condition. The techs are also very friendly and make sure their patients do all their exercises correctly and effectively. The receptionist is very efficient in scheduling appointments and keeping everything running smoothly. One additional plus is Bayside's Health and Wellness program. When your health insurance company says you're done with official PT, you have the option of continuing your path to wellness with Sarah, Bayside's certified trainer. She determines what exercise program will work best for you, and then works with you individually to help you reach your goals. She is wonderful in creating specific exercises that match your abilities, while also encouraging you to stretch beyond your current capabilities.
