They are super friendly and welcoming. We have two girls, ages 7 and 9. One is taking Guitar lessons and the other Drama, 30 minutes a session, one-on-one with their teachers. Both of their teachers are fabulous and both girls look forward to Saturdays just because of this. I really feel they are both learning a lot, have more confidence and enjoy having a creative outlet. It is unbelievable what art, music and self-expression can do for young children. I also wanted to mention that this place is probably half the price of what you would pay for other private lessons. We plan on being with Rhythm for years to come!

The Westport Playhouse is located in the Westport area, where there's plenty of entertainment and food to enjoy. It's a small, intimate venue that holds just the right amount of people, that it's not overcrowded. There's no food to order at the venue itself, but there's restaurants to enjoy before or after the show. However, right outside of the venue is a bar that you can order drinks and bring into the venue. To sum it all up, I'll definitely go back to the Westport Playhouse for other shows that are offered, such as comedy, musicals, and tributes. If you're looking for a not so crowded night out with your friends or family, check out the shows that they have to offer.

There are plenty of places around to enjoy dinner first or drinks after too, making it a one stop destination for your evening. My only complaint here was the drinks. My first drink was in a 12 ounce cup but when I went for the second, they said they couldn't give me more than half of cup full and yet charged me the same price.

I enjoy coming here. I've seen many bands at this venue and have sat in different sections excluding the lawn. I want to break down the review in case you haven't been: 1. Parking- there is the general parking. When I was there the sign said $25 which is a 25% increase from when I came here a couple years ago and opted for general parking. It says that if you prepurchase, it is $20. They have upgraded options such as the Premier for $35, $50 for Ultra Premier and Rockstar which is the top tier. I've always done the UP option because it's important for me to be able to get out without waiting in a line of cars for 30 minutes to an hour. 2. They have a bag policy and do have measurements they use at the gate to make sure guests are complying to the policy. 3. There are covered seats but once you get passed the LL row in the 200 level, there's no roof over your head unless you happen to be on the side where there could be remnants of a roof like the corners. 4. They do rent out lawn chairs. I haven't done this but I've seen people get them from one of the stands. 5. They allow empty water bottles. Take one with you especially when attending an event with the forecast of Hell degrees minus one Fahrenheit. I usually take a 10 oz Nalgene bottle with me just to stay hydrated. They have water fountains to fill them with. My biggest complaint is probably that it always seems a mess after a show with the parking situation but upgraded parking has solved that for me. Also, I did see a sign for rideshare and a specific area for them which is great if you don't want to drive. Overall, I like coming here. They have a decent system of admitting their guests with numerous gates options and staff at the gates, they have the necessary comforts and more that an event space should have and they have plenty of amenities to ensure guest comfort.

Kid and teenager me would have loved it... the sarcastic 10 year old wanted board games to improve her experience. After considering- I agreed. I would add some chess and checker boards and a few other board games. Or a few Atari games... The epitome was the McDonald's $1 double cheeseburger sign. I asked to order it: they didn't have cheeseburgers, all things are more expensive and everything is not as healthy. I am not wishing for cocaine Coca-Cola or other "medicine" in Dr Pepper. $1.50 for a can of soda is a big jump for a corn syrup from the nickel advertising of a sugar sweet memory. The epitome of the place was playing shuffleboard with the 10 year old. I was trying to play with a sense of touch. She was playing with the idea of creating a highlight reel of knocking my pieces off. I beat her because the idea of the game escaped her. To look back at Asteroids was a shock. Realized that it was just black and white, 2 dimensional game with only a few buttons to control it. Overall I walked still a fan of the glossed over experience. I remember being a broke kid wanting to play unrealistic games to escape from reality. Now I wish for the sugar rush I used to have.
