Bizarre nostalgic throw-back to sugar laced time before corn syrup drenched mixes arrived. I met a friend and his granddaughter in the basement to play retro-arcade games for a ser price fo a few hours. Kid and teenager me would have loved it... the sarcastic 10 year old wanted board games to improve her experience. After considering- I agreed. I would add some chess and checker boards and a few other board games. Or a few Atari games... The epitome was the McDonald's $1 double cheeseburger sign. I asked to order it: they didn't have cheeseburgers, all things are more expensive and everything is not as healthy. I am not wishing for cocaine Coca-Cola or other "medicine" in Dr Pepper. $1.50 for a can of soda is a big jump for a corn syrup from the nickel advertising of a sugar sweet memory. The epitome of the place was playing shuffleboard with the 10 year old. I was trying to play with a sense of touch. She was playing with the idea of creating a highlight reel of knocking my pieces off. I beat her because the idea of the game escaped her. To look back at Asteroids was a shock. Realized that it was just black and white, 2 dimensional game with only a few buttons to control it. Overall I walked still a fan of the glossed over experience. I remember being a broke kid wanting to play unrealistic games to escape from reality. Now I wish for the sugar rush I used to have. read more

If you enjoy soda, and want a glimpse at a very extensive history of the bubbly beverage, you can't go wrong here. There's representation from Coke to Pepsi, but even further down the list, including my favorite miss from so long ago, Tab. This appears to be a labor of love, with a very present owner/custor who offered to answer questions and showed off some recent acquisitions. They have a selection of international sodas downstairs and perhaps upstairs as well at the bar. We enjoyed the all you can play arcade, and trying some exotic sodas from afar. The music harkened from the heyday of the arcade parlor and definitely felt like a journey to another time. And they had my favorite from yesteryear.... Joust! read more

Looking for something different to do in the St. Louis area? This is your spot! The museum upstairs has tons of soda history and memorabilia that you have to see to believe! The arcade downstairs has classic games with unlimited play allowing you to master your skills on games such as pinball, Galaga, or skee-ball! If you're lucky, you might meet the owner and get to chat with him about the sodas they have available to try. With over 100 options from across the world, my family and I ended up buying over 50 sodas to try and take home. We couldn't pass up trying these. Omg this museum is AMAZING! I loved everything about my visit , all exhibits are conversation pieces. Upfront street parking is available if you visit at an early time . I got the bundle pricing for the museum and arcade for $20 . Arcade is start option once you pay for entry. All games are free play! Three levels of Entry. The first two is museum and the bottom level is arcade. Second level also has full bar available! Concessions and beverages are also available on bottom level . Concession prices are reasonable. Staff is friendly, helpful and kelp a genuine smile on their faces in my opinion. The museum exhibits showed me alot of information and just looking at all the pieces were a sight to see. From old bottles, to cartons, to brands that i literally forgot existed to the machines and coolers they were kept in is absolutely amazing. The arcade and all the old school games brought me back to my childhood shenanigans. Mrs PAC Man , PAC Man, Donkey Kong , pinball machines, shuffle board, mechanical bowling to name a few. I really enjoyed my time here and my only tip is for the gift shop section, I think it lacked small souvenir pieces that customers could buy and really help support your business. Examples but not limited too model trucks that were not to expensive vintage but basic truck driver style, key chains, magnets , small and simple but just enough to get us to support as we walk out the door. This is a very interesting museum. The variety of this collection is impressive. Adults and kids alike would enjoy this piece of soda history. I loved that they have old arcade games and pinball in the basement along with food and drinks. It does cost $10 for unlimited play. It is definitely worth it. Plus, you could wander around Main Street and go back throughout the day. They give you a wristband to get back in. It was the perfect outing on a very hot day in STL. read more

Came here for a company social event. There was about 25 of us and it was actually perfect for what we needed! The upstairs is the soda museum part with cool vintage Coca Cola decor. The basement is an arcade full of old vintage games and a bar. Some games worked better than others, but the fact that they were unpredictable made it more fun! Plus it was free to play everything --even the pinball! Definitely recommend if you're looking for a unique corporate outing or birthday party! read more

The music department from our church had their annual Christmas party at this place. The pizza was pretty good, and I love their selection of soft drinks as they have some old-school brands that I remember from my childhood. The arcade was pretty good at itself with all the old pinball machines, and other machines. This is a really cool place. read more

I am always happy to find a good local field trip. Right on historic Main Street in St. Charles is an excellent location. The site has two attractions. When you check in you can purchase tickets for the soda museum, the arcade, or both for a slightly discounted rate. The first is the soda museum which catalogues the history of Coke from their very early days. There is an exorbitant amount of memorabilia to see. There were other soda brands featured, but Coke seemed to be the favorite. The museum is more appropriate for adults. My son was bored after about 20 minutes and ready to move on. The second half of this space is the arcade in the basement. This was like a step back in time. So many vintage games, pin ball, ski ball and more. My favorite part was remaining the undefeated champ of air hockey!!! We spent another 3 hours here. There's a small snack bar offering a little bit of everything. They also have a wide variety of different types of soda. We had a great time and are planning to revisit them again soon. read more

Great tour a bunch of old video games were a lot of the pinball machines are free to play. I did not eat the food, but it looked typical for that type of place. Very interesting information on the tour. There's definitely some items there that are unique to nowhere else. read more
