This is a nice little spot in the mall with a large variety of perfumes for the ladies and a large selection of men's colognes at a very reasonable price. They also have a lot of specials on different products and there staff are really helpful and knowledgeable about the products. Purchased "Ajmal III for women" and "Eternia" cologne. Pretty sure they are rip-off's of name-brand fragrances. Sales lady was nice, but deceptive. She said the Ajmal perfume lasted "3x longer" than Burberry Her since it was from Dubai, and because Dubai soil is "different and made the perfume more concentrated." Yet after we used it it was gone in 15 mins. Couldn't find it online and they said that they had a "special deal with the company." BS. Their return policy sucks, too - they're complete scammers. Do not go here and buy perfumes you don't know - stick to the name brand ones. Pay the extra money for the trusted ones - trust me. read more

I'm pretty much sold on the colognes I wear. I know my preferred type (woody) I'd say I keep 3-4 colognes in my rotation. I went into the Perfumania earlier today had had to ABSOLUTE PLEASURE of dealing with Erin. She greeting me as soon as I walked in. She made me feel very welcomed & made suggestions for me. Whether at Macy's, Sephora or Perfumania, I'm really not fond of smelling the "new" product. She asked me what are my types of colognes. I told her what I like. Erin suggested I smell the new Mercedes Benz cologne & I'm sooooo glad I did. I fell in love with it IMMEDIATELY!!! Bought it on the spot along with a bottle of my fav....Givenchy. I can't say enough amazing things about Erin. Conversation. Expertise. Service. Everything was above and beyond. If you're ever at this location, I'm quite sure your experience there will be as pleasant as my visit because of Erin. I can guarantee that. On July 4th, 2020 I had went with my son to Perfumania at Deer Park, NY Tanger Outlets and I was highly disappointed at the customer service. I was scammed on two boxes of women's perfumes I had purchased. The boxes had pictures of small perfume bottles and my mistake was I did not opened the boxes to check the items. When I had returned to the store to exchange both boxes in replacement for a Hugo Boss Fragrance for my son. I discovered that the perfumes were actually sampler and not as shown on the boxes. Furthermore, the manager and store associate opened up the boxes in my presence they had stated that one of the items inside the boxes were missing and; as a result, they could not exchanged it. I had candidly admitted to them that I never had opened the boxes since the items were nicely wrapped up with gift tissues. I had requested an exchange and they had refused to due to missing items. I reiterated to them that it is deceptive what they were saying because I never took anything from the boxes. I demanded a refund but they refused to grant my request for an exchange or refund. Arguably, the store employees stated that due to COVID-19 it was forbidding for them to take back any missing items. I will never again shop at any perfumania stores. My son had articulated to the store employees that that their boxes are deceptive and misleading to customers I strongly suggest anyone who goes to this store to purchase anything, to open up any items in front of the store employees so that you are not accused of stealing items. I learned from this experience and moving forward I will consider opening any items in the future in front of store's employees. read more

I visited the perfumania at the Tanger Outlets in Deer Park, NY today. I went with my fiancė to find some smell goods. There were 3 representatives working. We split up to find our fragrances. I was helped by one of the best representatives Ive ever met. Her name was Nicole. Great attitude, very welcoming, extremely knowledgable about the products and made feel glad to spend my money. After helping me, she then helped my fiance who was ignored by one of the other representatives whom I later learned was named Christina or Christine to the point that he wanted to leave. Because of Nicole we walked out with 5 fragrances instead of the 2 we orginally planned on buying. She did such a good job I wanted to tip her but she told me they were not allowed. So, if I could give this place zero stars for the awful way in which me and my family were treated today, i totally would. I have been a customer for years, i was always treated and greeted wonderfully the moment I walk through the doors, however, today was a different story. My daughters and husband and I walk in and look around a bit, I already knew what I was going to purchase. We notice another family talking to the girl behind the counter, and the store was empty. We were there ten minutes with NO acknowledgement, NO greeting, nothing. The people before us were asking questions, which is fine, however the girl behind the counter never ONCE looked at us, or made eye contact, we are now there 20 minutes, just standing there with not even a ,"I will be right with you." Instead we all hear the counter girl say to the customers in a rude manner, "well, you were here first." Honestly, I work in customer service and I would never in a million years treat a paying customer in that manner. I took my family, and exited the store, feeling both embarrassed, and disappointed. I will never return, as this experience left me appalled. I will be making a phone call to corporate first thing Monday morning. read more
