I have been there 3 times, the first time Claudia helped and everything went smoothly I spent over $1,000. The 2nd time I went there, a male supervisor intervened rudely into our conversation. I didn't make a big deal about it since he was not the one helping me. However during my 3rd visit there. I spoke with an assistant supervisor names Amelia who put to the side the last bottle of fragrance they had left for me. I was driving through the horrible traffic in LA and Amelia somehow had to go home. Unfortunately, the same Hispanic male supervisor made me feel like I was a burden. He must've stopped helping me at least 3 times to go help other people. His excuse was there were short of staff. By the time he called Amelia and located the fragrance she put aside for me, I was over it. Not to mention the fragrance had no plastic on it, which tells me that it was used. Honestly, I went there not because they have the best price, it's merely because I don't have the patience for shipping. Nonetheless, if you are looking for authentic fragrances you can go on Jomashop, or Fragrance net, Maxaroma or Scents Angels. Needless to say I will not be going back! read more

Great place to go for a huge selection and great prices. My sales lady Vicky was tremendous. She probably spent 1-1/2 showing me not only the ones I wanted to sample but some others she recommended. It' hard to tell from a thin strip sprayed and other scents in the store...coffee beans really don't help. But I'd spray a bit on my skin and ask the other sales ladies what they thought. The one's I bought I liked and they loved! I bought 3. They were authentic (not fake like a lot of those booths are in downtown fashion district. Look for a metal stamp on the bottom of the bottle next to another stamp. If it doesn't have a metal stamp or engraving in the bottle, it's probably fake. Mostly men in there. Vicky even showed me how to get a bigger discount and asked me if I wanted bottled water. I took two. With all the booths in front of the stores in that area it's hard to find but I did. Parking is a scam...they wave $3 or $5 signs and point you to building parking and then when you get there it's $20! She said the $3-$5 was weekdays. But I felt safer there so I paid the $20. But I really just wanted to compliment Vicky for her patience with me. Give her a raise boss...or at least kudos. Many kudos. Thanks Perfumes LA...I'll be back. read more

I read the reviews on Google and Yelp. I decided to drive to DTLA and check them out. After making it through the craziness of the Garment District, I found the shop. The first guy didn't seem willing to help, customer service was off here. Then a girl was not happy about helping me, she wanted me to know exactly what I wanted and didn't want me to smell stuff. Which is odd at a perfume store u can't go smell things. I guess things get stolen there a lot because everything is behind the counter. Which makes it hard to shop. Finally, another girl helped me who was friendly. The price she gave was retail and they're cheaper online, like considerably cheaper. I thought this was discount shop, it should be for the area and hassle :) after all that I just bought it anyways since I drove down there, paid for parking, etc. All in all, I will stick to Nordstroms or Bloomingdales if I am going to pay full retail prices, at least there you can smell things and people are friendly. If I want affordable I will buy online discounters like maxoroma, jomashop, foreverlux, etc. Also I question the legitimacy of their reviews. My experience with 2 of the 3 workers there was way off what people say. read more

I've been coming to Perfume Los Angeles for the past few years. What an amazing Perfume store. I always get greeted with such kindness by the staff as I walk in. AZ's staff is very knowledgeable and guide you in the right direction when selecting a specific scent that suits you. Went in while waiting to get some tailoring finished. Tried out YSL La Nuit De L'Homme since I know the fragrance and it's original, so no fakes there. Price for LN is competitive, about $5 off from department stores. Inquired on price for Prada L'Homme - a bit over priced and the assistant stated it's because it's a new scent. I know it came out in 2016, but you can get Prada L'Homme much cheaper on Groupon. Bought gift sets instead for my parents. Mont Blanc Legend and J. Lo Still at very good prices compared to department stores. I would highly recommend that section. They also carry some niche fragrances like Tom Ford, Creed, D'Hermes etc. No Le Labo though. Worth the visit. read more

My only complaint is that the company isn't very competitive with the online market which can make it difficult to buy from them despite the advantage of being able to test. I can understand why but as the consumer, I think this is something to be considered.

There is so much here that you could spend a few weekends sniffing gorgeous perfumes and being educated at the same time!

People were almost dancing, the atmosphere was so festive, appropriate for the Studio 54 concept.

I can't sit here and not respond to this as he is lying, I did not waste my time nor my 2 hour drive to see the owner Jamal specifically. It's unfortunate how he blatantly lies to cover up what really happened. This is not the kind of person you want to do business with. I smelled all of their lines, Vietnamese coffee appeared mid session -- a pleasant yet somehow expected in a way as the experience was just that good that i thought to myself "they probably have coffee here" I've got a little collection of scents and i am so happy to have found this store and have met Tanisha.

I have been a proud customer of Perfumes Los Angeles for over 5 years. and I am very pleased to drive every 2-3 weeks all the way from Compton just to come get all my favorites perfumes. I love shopping with Mary, she knows me so well, ever since the first day I stop by I just told her which was my favorite perfume and ever since then I just show up and she knows exactly what to show me. My favorite one at the moment is jimmy chop, it's a beautiful scent. Also if I need to place something on hold Mary is so outstanding she places my items on hold while I get a chance to come. I have a ball every time I come here. Fully recommend perfumes Los Angeles, no other stores like this store, I have a ball in this place, they are patient and super a sweet with their customers, not like at other places, where they get angry and so grumpy when you ask them to show you something and if you don't buy something they want you to leave. For that reason ever since I found this store I felt in love with them. I am so proud to be their customer. Give them a try if you are in downtown, once you go in you become their loyal customers for life. read more

My family has bought our perfumes here for years and years. We walk up and down the alley checking the prices from all the other perfume stores just to make sure we get the best price and sure enough this is the place that always gets our purchase. They always have what we are looking for, and go out of their way to introduce us to the newest scents to keep us up to date. We always purchase Ed Hardy, Drakkar, Gaultier, Oscar de la Renta, and my mom's favorite ever that she has been buying over 20 years (yes here in this store!) is Fleur de Rocaille she has to buy 3 at a time because she is scared they will stop selling them soon. Today we bought 10 scents just in time for the holidays. We had the pleasure of being served by Elsy, super sweet & friendly! We are going home happy loyal customers for many years to come. read more

Van 3 veces que vengo aquí, la primera vez vine solo, la segunda vez vine solo y esta vez vine con un amigo y la verdad quede muy satisfecho. El servicio al los clientes es tan buena que la verdad me enamore de la tienda, los precios y la atención que a uno le dan lo enamoran a uno. Yo vivo en Downey y prefiero manejar hasta acá que ir al mall. Mary me dio mucha información sobre cómo aplicar el perfume en uno y me ofreció muy buenos aromas que yo no conocía. También la música y el ambiente de todos los empleados son a todo dar, hacen sentir a uno Agusto tanto que se le olvida a uno que anda en el fashion district. I live in boile highs and been driving all the way down here for more than 12 years, this ia my store, dont go to no other store. A Lot od people might feel that shooping in dowtown the perfumes might not be original, but the great news is that at this place all.of their products are 100 % authentic. Mary has been my sales lady all these years, she knows me already, as soon as i walk in she becomes available for me, knows what items are my favorite and knows exactly what discounts to give me, just like today, i came for a romance and, juicy couture, ans end up buying burberry my burberry an other 4 for me Honestly there is no other store like them, the perfumes are original, the prices are so good, the service is alot better than macys for sure! read more

Hay muy pocas tiendas como esta tienda. Tengo más de 6 meses comprando en esta PERFUMERÍA, antes compraba en otra tienda pero desds que encontre a esta tienda somo vengo aqui, la razón porque sigo regresando es por la amabilidad que Mary me da, siempre me recomienda los nuevo y en los que les puedo ganar al revender y los precios son bastante comodos, siempre recibo muy buen descuento al comprar 5 o mas. Deje de ir al otro lugar por el servicio era muy malo y no tenían paciencia con los customers, aquí es todo lo contrario, los empleados se toman su tiempo conmigo y me tienen mucha paciencia especialmente Mary, por eso prefiero manejar 30 más para venir aquí. I really like this store because it has greatest environment I ever seen a perfume store. I been coming here for many years, more than 10 years for sure, and I can only say amazing things about it. Everyone is very friendly and attentive, but from the whole staff the sweetest and caring girl is Mary, she always helps me to her best possible way by showing the items that I can sell and make the most profit and by giving me the best price available, I fully trust her judgment on smells and items. Today I needed to buy gifts for a lot of people in my family and my parents and I couldn't figure out what to buy given I had a $500 budget, when suddenly I remember about this place. This place is an absolute delight, the staff is outstanding, there is no waiting, and the knowledge all the staff has is just marvelous, Mary is my favorite sales girl, god This girl has a wonderful memory and her patience is infinite, as soon a I walk she becomes available for me and knows what to show me. I am so pleased, I was able to buy all my gifts, about 18 perfumes gift sets and all on my budget. For all these reasons I keep coming back from Huntington Park all since 2001. Perfumes Los Angeles definitivamente tiene una amabilidad . El dia de hoy venia con la intencion de comprar perfumes para mi y mis hijos, la verdad yo compraba en una tienda que esta en alrededor de aqui, iva caminado hacia esa tienda cuando vi esta tienda y quede impactada, la tienda esta gigante y huele muy bien. Al entrar enseguida Mary me atendio y dios mio esta muchacha esta amable que me con su carisma me convencio y termine comprando mas $500. Los precioa estan perfectos te dan 20 a 70%de descuenta de los precios de departamento. This is my first time in downtown. I don't shop often in downtown but I saw so many good reviews I had to stop and check it out for my self. I'm glad I did today. I discovered so many amazing perfumes I've never seen before. With such a huge variety of perfumes Luis made it much easier. I was surprised not with not only how much merchandise they have at the store but with how much effort it must take to remember all the prices and where everything is. Props to Luis, he knows everything from the top of his head. It's wonderful to walk into a store and get help from someone who knows all their products and prices. I definitely recommend this store. This is my first time visiting this store, it's my second time coming to the fashion district all the at from Compton but I didn't see this store the first time I came around, I am so glad I found it today. Walking inside store feels makes you feel like a kid in a candy store, they carry many fragrances and omg it makes you want them all. In my case Mary helped me, she gave me a lot of suggestions but I went for Versace bright crystal. They carry perfumes with out the box which I loved given that they are cheaper only because they have no packaging, which I don't mind at all, I always throw away the boxes anyways. Los perfumes son originales y siempre vienen en muy buenas condiciones. My min has Been shopping in this so many years, probably for more than 12 years, she sells perfumes on her own to make some money at the side and for gifts for us to take to Sinaloa Mexico, she used to buy at different places at the same time but Perfumes Los Angeles has always beat every one's prices and unique service. I come every 6 months all the way from city of San Gabriel just to buy all my perfumes at perfumes Los Angeles. This perfume store is a delight! I live 30 mns away from Los Ángeles and I drive every other weekend all the way here because of the exquisite service I receive from Mary. Every single time I come Mary gives an oustanding customer service, always with a smile and great patince offers me the specials, like no other place, she runa from placa to place to make sure I get a chance to see all their new arrivals. Nos gusta venir aqui por sus precios tan economicos, tienen de 20 a 70 porciento de descuento de los precios de el mall, los perfumes aqui esta mas baratos y originales. Joe helped me sample through several bottles and I felt like he genuinely wanted me to find something I liked. He kindly offered me a sample to take home as I wanted to smell and experience the dry down. Not even 30 minutes later, my boyfriend and I turned the car around to purchase the full bottle. I am so happy with my purchase and experience at D'or Perfumes! I hope to visit Joe's other store, D'or Prestige, as I grow my perfume collection.

One of the worst discount perfume stores in LA. For starters they only let you get a good look at…read moretheir dupe / clone section they have the rest of the store blocked off by the table so you can't even see what items they have in the designer category. They have a sign that says retail but they are not helpful unless you're a store owner. I stood there looking at merchandise and one woman was just on the phone while another two employees were just sitting around talking to each other. It was very rude how they ignored me and treated me less because I wasn't a store owner. Why do you have a sign that says you make retail sales? Don't waste your time here there are plenty better stores very close by.
