Have you been to the Peri-Peri branch in Greenhills Promenade? It's like they have a special place of their own that takes you away from the milling about of people in the mall. The entrance is so small that you might miss it but don't let that fool you since the restaurant area is big and the decor is adorable! Rows upon rows of brightly coloured bottles line the windows. What I love most about Peri-Peri is the sauce exploration. I'm not the type of person who likes sauces but this works for me because it gives me something to do and something to look forward to. It's not surprising that I love the chocolate sauce (Chili Choc'lit), not only is it sweet but it does go well with the chicken. Most of the sauces do pack some heat but there are some that were made for people like me who can't do with spicy things. I also like the Mesquite BBQ and Sweet Soy! They can also recommend sauces to you if you don't know what to get or if you're up for it why not try them all! On my most recent visit I ordered the Chocolate Mousse shake concoction and I loved it! Totally worth the sinful calories!

My boyfriend and I are looking for new restaurants to try in Greenhills. Stumbled upon Peri-peri charcoal chicken and got interested with their menu. I was about to order but then the serving staff cut me and said we had to wait for a table. I'm already hungry and can't wait for another thirty minutes to get seated so we just looked for another restaurant. The next time we went to promenade I did not let the chance pass again. We went earlier before people come in for dinner and at last, we got seated immediately. On the way to the dining area, you had to go down the stairs and enjoy the interiors. I ordered their numero uno fried chicken. It is a plate of two enormous (understatement) breaded chicken fillets with buttered corn and mashed potato as side dishes (P390). My boyfriend ordered their Pele platter is composed of ¼ chicken, java rice, buttered corn and 2 pieces wild wings (P295) There is also a roving sauce cart in which the server will let you pick the sauce you want to pair your chicken. I personally did not like the sauce because my order comes with its own gravy that really matches my breaded chicken. Boyfriend enjoyed the sauces though. I will come again next time to try other food offerings. You get what you pay for and more!

Peri-Peri Chicken serves spit-fire grilled chicken with different kinds of sauces. I ordered half Peri-Peri chicken with sides. It was your regular chicken. I wasn't really able to detect any hints of African-Portuguese spices. There was nothing too spectacular about it. Perhaps the sauces were to be the highlight of the meal as they had more than 10 sauces. I really liked the Harissa which is really really spicy. So if you don't like spicy, make sure not to choose Harissa. The Barbeque sauce was also quite good. Sweet and smoky. Both meshed really well with the slightly bland chicken. I'd really prefer it if the chicken were spicier and smokier, as they advertise their chicken to be. They have other things too like the Patatas Bravas. The picture looks tastier and better than the actual. Worth a try though. Especially if you're a chicken and sauce lover. It's an interesting take on the dish.

This is the best tasting Charcoal Chicken I ever tasted, combined with different kind of sauces, It's really yummy! Have it with soft pita bread and a hot salsa and a glass of iced coke.

One whole Peri-Peri Charcoal chicken was enough for us 5 people plus a solo serving of pasta. Delicious

Good good chicken!!! I've read some bad reviews on the food being served cold but ours was fairly hot. Not much to say about it except we had a good time eating here. I wanted to get the shimp aglio olio pasta but it was sadly unavailable.

There's just something about their egg tarts that sets it above and beyond most other egg tarts I've seen. I think it's the crust. Where most establishments tend to use a normal pie crust, Lord Stow's relies on this flaky crust that's almost akin to phylo dough. It's not *too* buttery but not at all bland. A perfect combination to the creamy, smooth egg custard filling. And call me an oddball but I rather like the burned, bubbly top. That skin is pretty tasty and it gives the custard a nice texture. They've expanded, too. Not only do they have egg tarts but they have cookies! They're decently sized, too. Probably a little smaller than palm sized. They're also not too dry which makes them great to have with coffee. If you aren't looking for sweets, there's also shing-a-ling, nuts and other things. Take note that this branch is pretty small, even for a food court stall. If you aren't looking for it, you probably won't know it's there. But the good thing is there isn't much of a crowd. You can just grab your pies and go. They really should make bigger egg pies.

They're the only one food place who can get it to taste exactly like you'd find in 5-star hotels in Macau. From the flaky, delicate crust to the smooth egg custard. It's big enough for you to savor the full flavor but just small enough so you don't feel over satiated by the egg filling. Really a delicious treat any time of the day. I prefer to take the home and heat them up a bit before eating.

I consider Buffalo wings to be one of my favorite foods, so when someone declares this place to be one of the best wings in town, I had to find out for myself. Frankie's set-up is like the typical wings diner: homey and pleasantly cluttered. I had the garlic parmesan as recommended by the waiter, and the Frankie's Classic Buffalo. As it was the one flavor that took the restaurant's name as its title, the Frankie's classic was definitely the better order of the two. Everything I've been hearing about the place was right; this might be the best Buffalo wings place in the city! The Frankie's classic is a masterpiece, I don't know how many kinds of Buffalo wings I've tried in my life, but this time I think I've found the perfect original no frills wings.

Going further, some places would inevitably prepare the dish better than most. To me, this is Frankie's New York Buffalo Wings. I usually head to Frankie's after a night run. This could get as late as midnight. The place is open until 2 am, and by this time the horrible parking situation at the City Golf Compound would already be more manageable. (Of course, provided it's a not a weekend.) I always get the Classic Buffalo (spicy) with blue cheese dip, and ask for more blue cheese dips. (They charge extra). I like the chicken because of the way the skin has been cooked to a crisp, all the while keeping the meat rather tender; I think it's breaded. The sauce is spicy yet with just the right bite, meaning there is a dimension to the flavor and not just plain crazy-fiery. Like, I can still taste the butter and the vinegar all coming nicely together with the one-two punch of the hot sauce. Oh-yeah! The best part is you don't even have to worry about getting your hands dirty because they give away disposable gloves. To be honest, I don't really use it since I am used to working with utensils in dissecting my chicken, but I just think it's rather thoughtful of them. As my personal motto goes: it's the useless stuff that builds character.

I've been frequenting this place for whenever I'm looking for some good grub right after work. Ever since I started working in Shaw, this was our go-to food destination, and one of the restos we favoured was Buffalo Wings and Things. Fortunately, they built up a new shop in Megamall! I usually go to this branch with my friend who is also madly in love with their wings. They've got a bunch of flavors to choose from but my favorites would be their garlic parmesan and hickory barbeque. We partner them with their signature dirty rice and a glass of their top notch iced tea! What I love about their chicken is the flavors. They don't skimp out on seasoning and are very generous with their sauces. Their dirty rice is also really good. It's got a hint of spice to it and it's garnished with a spoonful of diced tomatoes and onions for added flavour. Yum! They are also known for their ridiculously spicy wings. During one of our food trips, we dared a friend of mine to try out their Armageddon wings. I believe it was the second or third spiciest wings they have. He bawled his eyes out by the time he was on his third wing! CRAZY. We needed to get him a glass of milk to help the hit of spice subside. He survived, don't worry! But that's definite proof they take their spicy buffalo wings seriously.
