I love Perkins.. its my good to for a venting day. I love all the waitresses. My favorites are Brandie, Brenda & Autumn.. They treat me Very Good and i always pay my waitresses well. IF and when i get bonus checks or taxes i buy One of their customers lunch on me. I miss the manager Teri n Sam. The New GM Megan was sooo rude and sparky. Their points machine went dwn and I was supposed to have a Free Meal nxt.. She totally denied it and was Rude about it. Now it's back up n running BUT started me back at the beginning . I keep forgetting to avoid all Perkins restaurants, the quality of their food has really become terrible. Most recently I had the turkey dinner, the meat tasted like frozen zen food and was dry, the potatoes dry and pasty. Had breakfast at another location where hash browns were like stringy, burned cardboard, and the bacon was terrible. read more

I had and amazing waitress by the name of Heather. She was very kind and was on top of everything that we needed.

This place is DIRTY. I went on a date and the waitress ignored me and my date for almost 40 minutes that's because it wasn't even full. Less than 10 people. The chef was arguing with her along with all the other staff. The food took forever to come out. When I finally got the food I couldn't even finish it because I found a PUBIC HAIR in my food. I informed the manager and she apologized didn't make me pay for my plate, but I still had to pay for my dates plate. Worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant. It's Perkins, they aren't really all that different anywhere you go. It is the best breakfast spot in town but that's not saying a lot. Service is good but nothing to write home about and the environment is what you expect. read more

We order to go a few times each month. Honestly, I've never had a restaurant consistently get our orders 100% correct each and every time. Food is always ready when they say it will be, and it's always fresh, well packed and presented. Add to that, the staff are always quick to greet us and very courteous, and always accommodate our additions like diet syrup, as you can't order it via their app. read more

Came for something different than what's in Waseca. Food was ok. Most of us had chicken fried steak, they seems to be of frozen kind, moms asparagus was tough, the chicken fingers were the best out of all the food. Dessert on the other hand hit the spot. read more

We used to love going to Perkins every Wednesday night for our family night. We would look forward to talking and joking with the staff and getting to know them. The food has never been the main focus. The prices are extremely high for what you get. Lately, the staff on Wednesdays are horrible. They don't know what they are doing. I have never been a server but know you shouldn't yell across the table to take someone's order. And you should ask the questions as to what you want for your choices. For example, ask how you want your eggs, do you want toast, pancakes or muffin? Don't just put in a generic order. We have walked out more than 3 times in the last 2 months. read more

What a nice welcome to Minnesota. I thought Minnesotans were nice? Jen definitely proved to me that MN is not sugar and sprinkles. When I first walked in at 11:35 pm, I asked the nice lady at the front if they'd still serve us, being as they close in 25 mins. I felt bad, but we just got into town from the airport and needed something to eat and decided to take a shot at Perkins. The woman was enthusiastic! She happily seated us and told us we could eat. 5 stars for you, you were amazing. Then our waitress arrived. *dun dun dun.* Immediately, Jen was a RAGING Betch. Jen told us we needed to order immediately, so we obliged. She wrote one. order. per. page. with extreme aggression? I didn't know you could write words down with so much hatred and passion. Sighs in between words and pages, skipped 1 of our friends' orders and then was upset and gave an extremely exaggerated and disgusted sigh when our friend said they wanted to eat too. Jen did not notice our drinks needing to be refilled and also was upset about that too. All JEN said to check on us was "Did I forget anything this time." even the first time she came by. She handed us our bill two separate times, within 5 minutes trying to usher us out right after we got our food. I ate about 1/4 of my food before the overwhelming guilt and bad vibes overtook my appetite and we decided to get boxes and leave. Wanting to avoid a possibly drugged up waitress, we asked this very very beautiful and kind waitress for some boxes, and she was happy to help us! I ended up tipping her $10 because it was so nice and welcoming to know that SOMEBODY (not Jen) at this establishment enjoys their job and appreciates conversing with customers kindly and respectfully. (We love you girl w/ the pretty tattoos, you're doing amazing this review is 100% not your fault!) I tipped the nice lady who sat us $15 because she too was super nice and welcoming. If I didn't know any better, I wouldn't have tipped JEN at all. jEn didn't deserve a cent from me. Unfortunately for me, I understand that tips are very important for these waitresses and I left her with 15% regrettably. I hope JEN feels bad, because that $25 in cash was going to be hers, just for taking us so late but I couldn't stomach giving someone who should have never stepped foot in the service industry a 35% tip. read more

Long time customer of Perkins, including this one. We travel often and you can always count on Perkins as having good food and coffee. Stopped yesterday at this one in the middle of the afternoon as we were in route home with another couple. Maybe 10 people in the restaurant. I ordered a club sandwich. When the order came, my club sandwich was some burnt bacon, a bad piece of lettuce and a slice of tomato. Waitress did not see the problem but finally said she could have another one made. I explained our party of four would have to wait for me. Ask for some Mayo - but that never came. A very bad experience with a bad, low IQ waitress. My lady friend and I stopped here after being on the road for several hours. This turned out to be a great place to relax with some comfort food and recharge our batteries. My chicken strip dinner I definitely enjoyed. The mashed potatoes with brown gravy I thought was the best part of my meal. I loved it! Unfortunately we didn't have any room for dessert. Open 24/7 and they have truck parking? It sounded too good to be true! The entire experience at this Perkins was wonderful. Our waitress was so very kind and efficient. She checked up on us every 8-10 minutes and we always had full drinks. The breakfast was equally delicious. We both got the "tremendous twelve" which was a huge meal, but cooked exactly the way we asked. The biscuits, bacon and pancakes were fantastic! Overall, we LOVED this place! We will absolutely return the next time we were in Minnesota. I've been to this Perkins multiple times & have always either had a good experience or a bad - there is no in between. The last two times I have been there we have gotten the same waitress who is not friendly at all. What made me write this review was from one incident when we went there about a year ago - Two others and I decided to go to Perkins for lunch one day around 1 pm. Perkins was not very busy at the time & one of us needed to return to work so we figured we could get out of there in an hour... wouldn't you think? We sat down and got the unfriendly waitress ordered our food and waited... and waited... and waited..... About 20 minutes later two business men came in and sat close to us and ordered 20 minutes after the time we had. They complained to the waitress that they too were in a hurry and needed their food, the waitress apologized and sent the manager over. The manager gave them a free meal & the worst part of all of this is, they got their food BEFORE US! At this point I complained to the waitress and asked what was taking so long, it had been a few minutes short of an hour. I did not get an apology from her and the manager did not come over. I am not expecting a free meal but if your going to apologize to the men who came in 20 minutes after us, give them a free meal and give them their food before us there is a problem. read more

We waited about 20 minutes up front for anyone to notice and seat us. Finally a lady came out from the kitchen and seated us without saying a word except for "two?" Not even hello. We were seated in the back. She did not let us know if our server would be out or who it would be. Finally a waitress came up and it was aren't that she was one of only two servers working in the entire place. It was moderately busy. She took our drink order and disappeared for about 15 minutes. We knew we needed to order right away or we may not see her again for another long time. We got our order in, and I specified that I wanted chicken on my pasta instead of the shrimp. The chicken option was on the menu. Half an hour later, she brought me the shrimp pasta. Frustrated- I explained that I ordered the chicken. She said she knew she heard me say shrimp. I assured her I didn't. She took it back, and I waited another 15 minutes for the chicken. It was Ok, but a bit dry. I never got a refill on my drink. After sitting there with our food gone for nearly 25 more minutes- she came and asked if we wanted dessert. I asked for the bill. She had a bunch of them... but not ours. Nearly ten more minutes waiting for that. It was 30 bucks for some bad pasta and some pancakes. They need to hire more people without question. read more

I'm no Perkins die-hard, but I do recommend this one. Twice a year a group of us visit this Perkins while in southern Minnesota. We're consistently satisfied with the food, service, and parking (I usually have a moving truck with me). The last time I visited I left some important papers at my table. i call for take out, went there to get the food the lady had a bad attitude, and was speaking in an unfriend ly manner. i asked for ketchup and mayo, an se brings back one cantainer of ketchup. now when someone orders 3 orders of french fries, 2 order of chicken strips, order of oinion rind motsarella sticks how far is that one cantainer of ketchup is going to go. so i asked for more and she got me one more. and while doing all this she was rolling her eyes the whole time. When i got back i looked at the the and was missing an order of chicken tenders. so i called them back and thsy said no problem, they will put it in. when i got there it was one piece of chicken tender. i told here that this is dum. she told me to talk to terry the manager in the morning. this was by far the works experiance i had at perkins. awful service, awful.
