This caused me distress given my daughter was in pain and our appointment was approaching. While I understand issues can come up, I felt the billing representative could have handled the situation better through more effective communication and an apology for the confusion. Later in the telephone conversation she ended up finding my Aetna dental insurance information. As someone that works in customer service myself, I know how important it is to maintain professionalism and support patients/clients, especially when dealing with insurance changes and coverage verification or frustrated patients. My goal in providing this feedback is to prevent other families from potentially going through unnecessary distress over insurance issues. I continue to think highly of the dental services my family receives at Preminger and hope they can use this review to examine how the billing process impacts patients.
