I have found RIdgeview easy to work with -- their pups come with great thought to breeding and for each of their three areas -- service dogs, hunting dogs and companion/pet dogs. They provide such great exposures to sights, sounds, scents and surfacts from young ages, helping set a foundation for continuing the raising/socializing/training I put in before placement and ongoing support for service dog clients. This breeder is the only one I agreed to acquire a puppy beyond 14 weeks of age because of the commitment they make to the sorts of exposures puppies have to develop into resilient, easy to train and lovely to live with dogs.

I called Ridgeview, Ohio two weeks ago and have not heard a word back. I wasn't asking for any money I just wanted to let them know. I am also very disappointed with the training. I paid an additional $900 for the Extended Training and our dog has never heard 85% of the commands on the printout sheet they gave us. I would still recommend them for a dog, but I would not waste your money on the training or lack of it. I searched everywhere for dogs in the 5 month old range and they were the only place I could find. We came from Massachusetts to Ohio.
