My children ordered a special upgraded version of flowers for my bday. They were to be delivered, however my son picked them up. A special trip before going to the restaurant in Ridgewood. They were very underwhelming for $149.00 plus delivery...which when i called they really did not care of my concern. They said it does not get bigger, just fuller when you upgrade them. The fullness was not valued and worth ptice increase. The management of the high end restaurant we were at also stated they will not use them again. When I mentioned they were picked up, they did not offer to credit the delivery charge. I do not recommend Perrys Florist in Glen Rock, NJ. Today my sister from out of state called to put an order in for flowers for my Mom ,for VALENTINE'S DAY, she was told that PERRY'S FLORIST will not longer be taking her orders! Went there for Valentine's Day, They had nothing but the most ordinary of flowers selections I have ever seen, I finally found a few things that worked, but nothing exciting, however, they charged me $95.00 for 5 Peruvian lilies, 5 small crème color lilies, and a few stems of something that looked like pink baby's breath - a total ripoff. To add insult to injury, without asking me, they arranged all the flowers in different heights as a one sided floral arrangement and when I arrived home, I needed to recut them all again to different heights and the whole bouquet was completely ruined. When I called the store and asked for a manger to see if I can send a photo of it in order to discuss the price and to show how they were ruined, the manager said that they are not equipped to receive photos or email messages. Basically, they were not interested in helping me at all or taking any responsibility. I will never go there again Poe customer service and they don't know know what they are doing. read more

Good quality flowers, and also pretty good for general gardening needs. I often purchase Irises, White Lillies, and Roses from them. The prices are slightly above average. They deliver, and can provide regular flower deliveries to you, if you wish to keep a certain type of floral arrangement in your house. I also heard they are the vendors used to stock local business with wonderful flowers, such as the Valley Hospital, and a few area restaurants. (It's what I've heard, not sure if it's true.) Owner sold us eight flowers that died within two weeks in early May. Owner stated that the flowers would only last until summertime when the weather gets very hot. We had two days of high 80 degree weather, when the flowers started to die. When my wife brought back the flower to show them, they told us that this was the first time they sold them and that we were the only customer to complain about them. I cannot comment about the florist, but I am a fan of their plant/garden selection. This is where I go for all my perennials/annuals and some garden supplies. They have a wide selection of flowers. I only wish they had more full size shrubs. Nevertheless, everything I bought from them, starting with capricious hibiscus and low maintenance mint/lemon balm, still grows in my garden very nicely. As far as other reviews go, the owner is not rude at all. I think it goes both ways when it comes to people. The two negative (1 star) reviews are from the same person, and from the looks of it, it is more of a personal thing. read more

Awful service - they don't provide a true online ordering service! I ordered online for a birthday delivery the following day, providing complete and accurate details. I got a phone message at 630pm and when i rang back i got the answering machine. Following day the flowers were not delivered and they did not respond to my phone call for 4 hours. Luckily i was still able to make a same day delivery order at another place, but do yourself a favour and don't take for granted they'll take your order seriously read more

I went to get flowers for my fathers wake and funeral as did my mother, brother and several other mourners all at different times, both in person & on phone and all were treated very poorly & disrespectfully. They also didn't do a very good job on printing the card, instead of having "Valentine's" written out completely on one line they awkwardly spaced it out. I recently ordered a 1/3 of a cord of firewood from Perry's. Unfortunately the batch I received was bad. Perry's excellent customer service did not hesitate to rectify the situation. I ordered an $80 bouquet for a friend for her birthday and was happy to call a local florist in her area. I placed the order on line and they did get it to her on time. However she sent a picture and I was extremely disappointed. It honestly looked like they put something together and then threw in an orchid stem to make up for a bouquet of cheap fillers. The 3 sunflowers were pretty but didn't go with the orchid at all, then three mums and one iris, then fuller. All cheap flowers expect the one orchid stem. I called and expressed my disappointment. Saying I would except a few roses or hydrangeas mixed with the orchid would have been beautiful. Or if I spent $30/$40 it would have been fine. They picked up the arrangement, literally removed the orchid and added one rose and hydrangea and few gladiolus...better, but nothing like they Market and no follow up seeing if I was satisfied.
