Store employee is very helpful and makes sure the order is correct and will usually throw in a few extras too Only minor issues are on the website their sales tax isn't the current 6.6% as they charge you 7% and do charge you a $10 service fee. We walked in today (on Easter) and were able to walk out within 15 mins with 2 big, beautiful bouquets. They were able to put them together on a busy day very quickly! I always love finding small businesses where the owners are proud of their work. While this place isn't the most appealing to the eye as you enter, they create beautiful bouquets both for pre-order and on the spot. It's definitely more expensive than your typical florist or supermarket but they work around your budget and try to accommodate you as much as possible. I told them that I was only looking to spend about $30 and they quickly put together a bouquet to meet that goal. I was in and out within 10 minutes with a lovely bouquet. You have the option to choose your own flowers or to allow them to chose for you. They have a wide variety of seasonal flowers and since it's fall right now there were a lot of oranges and deep reds. They have cards and stuffed animals as well, but they all seemed to be old and faded/dirty so I wouldn't recommend getting those from here unless you're really in a crunch. read more

I wish I could give negative stars!!! First, the flowers were delivered late, I paid $120 for flowers that look like they are from a supermarket. I paid for a special color vase-didn't get it. I ordered flowers through "Patricia's Petals" who referred the order to Clif Garden Florist. These were for my sister's birthday in Fairlawn, NJ. They were delivered with droopy roses and sunflowers and the rest of the bouquet looked tired. I will never use them again. I called several times about this order and never heard back from them. Very unprofessional to not return a call from a customer and try to rectify the situation. read more

Terrible experience. Was assured flowers i sent for my mother's birthday were going to be on time. Told the next day that there was a problem with the delivery. After much back and forth realized that although assured for a delivery on her birthday they would not be delivered until the day after. Gentleman on the phone prooved very difficult and no one I spoke to seemed to make the problem any less stressful. Distasteful customer service, high prices, no compassion for customers. No stars If I had a choice ! I received a gift of orchids from my mother-in-law for my anniversary which she purchased from Cliff Garden Floral. She lives overseas and ordered by phone. The purple orchid arrived, and I was shocked when I saw it. Only two purple orchid flowers were in bloom with a giant lavender bow bigger than the plant. The plant looked pathetic. Every year my mother-in-law outdoes herself with her orchid gifts to me, so I was just speechless . When she called to ask about the gift, I didn't know what to say to her. I said I didn't recommend she ever use this florist again. She was so upset and said she spent a fortune. This never happened to her before. She regretted trying a new florist. So I called Cliff Garden Floral to give them an opportunity to perhaps exchange it. The woman on the phone was rude, defensive, kept cutting me off and denied there was anything wrong with the plant, insisting it was beautiful and that I didn't understand. Don't count on this florist for delivery on a busy holiday such as Valentine's Day. I completely regret recommending Cliff Garden to a relative. Flowers were ordered a week in advance and were to be delivered to a Fair Lawn business. The business closed at 5:00 PM and the flowers had not been delivered. I placed an order online to have a fruit basket delivered the next day. The order was never delivered. I ended up calling back the day after supposed delivery to see what the problem was. Man on the phone checked the order status and told me that they cancelled the order because it was too small to be delivered for a holiday. I ordered this on a Tuesday to be delivered on Wednesday. I feel this is terrible customer service and wrongful way to run a business. I never received a phone call letting me know about the cancellation. Had I not have called when I did, who knows if I would have ever gotten a call back from this company. It is a shame because I was sending the fruit basket in sympathy for a family friend's loss of their son. Buyer beware when placing an order. Please call florist first. I placed the order online. Terrible service and unreliable. Ordered flowers, they were never delivered. When I called to complain, I was told it was a problem with 1-800-Flowers, due to a misconnection, and it was NOT the shop's problem so I need to take it up with the third party. This statement was proved to be entirely untrue, considering the shop not only called me the day before to confirm but also CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD DIRECTLY. I did not receive a call from a third party, nor did a third party charge my card. They owner clearly lied and is now refusing to do anything about the issue, stating it is "not his problem". DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST. I am currently filing a complaint with the better business bureau. read more
