My water system was in very bad shape before Perry's Pump Repair took over, and the difference they have made has been incredible. I have an artesian well, and before they came out, the water was cloudy, some areas of the house even had black water, and there was a strong sulfur odor. Other water companies had previously sold me equipment that was either incorrect or not properly suited for my system. Chris and Gidden were able to identify the problems, replace the incorrect components, and get everything set up properly so the system now runs efficiently. Perry's Pump Repair came out to investigate air and silt in our plumbing. The well was drilled in 2002 when the house was built (we bought the house in 2023) and the tank looked the age. Shane and Daniel arrived as scheduled, and immediately went to work on the well head and pump. Turns out the baffle on the pump was a problem, as was the old tank, which we had on our list of needing replacing. Shane and Daniel were incredibly skilled and efficient in pulling the pump, inspecting it, turns out it's from 2019 so OK there, but it had a bad baffle that they replaced with an improved version. Then they expertly removed the old tank, installed a new tank and silt filter, and now it's all working great. We now have increased water pressure throughout the house. They charged a fair price, explained each finding and the process along the way, and were very professional and friendly. First visit needed a new control valve. 150 service call and a 150 charge for a 40.00 part. Thievery. Second visit or lack there of was supposed to have a new tank installed for 2500 cash which was also overpriced. The tech or the owner "Chris" was supposed to do the work between a specified date and time. Never showed. I waited around all day then finally called at 5 pm and cancelled. My address is very easy to find and appears on google and waze correctly. No excuse. I receive an invoice for 2500 via email. I respond it was a mistake please rescind. No answer back, I do this one more time, no response. The owners wife shows up at my house 2 weeks later unannounced "trespassing" knocks on my door and does not introduce herself yet asked me who I was. I declined to answer and asked who she was and what she wanted. I explained to her it was never installed and to figure it out it was not my problem. She finally left my property leaving my front driveway gate partially open unbeknown to me. My dog got out and I spent 30 min trying to find him. These people are completely unprofessional regardless of the type of work they do. I would go with someone else in the Fort White area. Ridiculous, showing up at my house....seriously!! I have used Perry's two times now in the past 5 years and both times I was so impressed. The first time was when our well pump died and we had no water for the farm. They showed up in force, Father Chris and Son Eric could not have been nicer and had us up and running in only a few hours. The charge at the end was exactly what they said and not a Penney more. Yesterday i called them out because I had added a golf course style sprinkler system to 5 acres of pastures. Eric and his helper showed up in 4 hours had pulled the old 1.5 HP pump at 20 gpm and installed a 3 hp at 60 gpm. It was just the right amount of pump and it cost just what they said. BTW They only use products made in the USA. They show up in a clean professional truck , dressed like professionals and conduct themselves in the same manner. Professional from call to service to follow up text. We were having some spurting out of the faucets throughout the house. I had another plumbing service out in the morning only to find out they did not work on wells and pumps. They took a guess at what might be wrong and said I would need to call someone that worked on wells and pumps. I was very unhappy! I called Eric ( with Perry's Pump Repair). He missed my call and called me back within one minute. I explained the debacle from the morning and he said they could have someone out within the hour. Brody called and gave me an approximate time he would be arriving. He showed up five minutes early. He got right to work. He came in an explained (twice because it was kind of greek to me) what he thought the problem was. It was not even close to what the other company had said. He worked outside for a bit and then came in and ran the water for a bit and stated he was confident he had fixed the problem but if we started seeing the spurting again to call and they would come back out. I texted with Eric after the service call and he said he would be happy to talk to my husband and explain what they worked on today.
