This is more of a review of Persimmon in general than the homes in Whetstone. However, myself and my partner are buying a house in Countesthorpe and are due to move in soon. I will not drivel on regarding the issue I have with Persimmon as I have written so many letters now I feel like I`m a solicitor myself. There is a field tree close to our garage and house, so close they have had to lop as they go which is unusual in a construction situation. I suppose ultimately it would cost too much to remove completely and this is why they have put every obstacle possible in our way to get out of removing the tree. Even though they initially told us, when we signed the plans that the tree would be removed, furthermore the plans do not show the tree on the plot! Quite simply terrible customer service, untrustworthy and unreliable if this is how they treat buyers. The issue is ongoing and if it is resolved to my satisfaction then I will gladly retract this review but I`m not holding my breath. read more
