Seems as I did need to get in shape but when I started, I expected to see my instructor teach the class, not his students. And I have to say that was off putting And for the price, I would have thought that the boxing gloves were included. Perhaps with future customers, you will cut them a better deal for us.It's just didn't seem worth it. Oo expensive Well, I put my picture up since you think I was afraid to put it up. I'm not afraid. I was just changing the picture. I have no problems. What I said in my review? That's what a review is. You're supposed to actually listen to it and learn from it and see how it can Better your business. But Lynn and saying that I wasn't part of that record that you looked up. Seems as you use that line a lot. We looked up the records, but we couldn't find you. I've heard that before. On another review from a couple years ago. I also heard how you took money out of somebody's account without them knowing you did the same thing to me. I didn't post that Thankfully, I got my money back. After I discussed it with you I was nice in my post. I even gave you one star and hoped that you would improve. But I could see that you don't know how to respond to an adult review here. Let me help you. It was expensive if you want people to go to your gym and you want to give the average Joe a chance to join. You should lower your prices and maybe you'll get a lot more customers. Hopefully you turn this review into a positive. Good luck with your Business All the best.

There was lots of weekly sparring and I even competed in a tournament. That said, it was a very daunting task to mentally accept that I would effectively be starting from zero, or close to zero, as an adult. After searching around, I decided to contact a few gyms online. The only one that responded was Supreme Striking Martial Arts. My main priority was finding a gym local to me and this was it. Reviews seemed good, so I decided to try out a Muay Thai class at 7pm a few days later after being in contact with the Coach. I showed up and was immediately greeted by Coach Rob, a professional championship-winning Boxer and Muay Thai practictioner, and the assistant coach Kris. Good start, because I was nervous as hell. After signing waivers, Coach Rob had me go stretch with everyone else. Fortunately, I know how to stretch and have done other types of sports/ sport training. Once the class started, I was thrown on the grill, so to speak, just like everyone else. There was no separation because I was a beginner. I was in it with everyone else, which was simultaneously nervewracking but also pretty cool. It instills a sort of "learn as you go" dynamic. Coach Rob would give instruction and everyone would follow. I would look around and try to mimic the others. Coach Rob would come around and give everyone pointers. He also has no problem repeating the instructions or showing us again if we ask. After my first training, I was dead. But yet, I felt so alive. It triggered something inside of my mind. "I get now", I said to myself. I now get why people are so crazy about martial arts. Not only is it a physical battle, but a mental one as well. Your main rival is actually not the person in front of you, but the person in the mirror, yourself. At the end of the first training, Coach convinced me to do Boxing as well. I am now in my 3rd week here. I've been doing about 2x Muay Thai and 1x Boxing per week. I am also now doing home Shadow Boxing/light training + stretching and some cardio either on the road or the treadmill to supplement what I am learning. During my training, I have had flashbacks of when I was a child training and sparring in Taekwondo. Good feelings, to be clear. After 3 weeks, I can say that Coach Rob and his Assistant Kris are very down to earth, approachable, humble people. I get the sense that Coach Rob is very grateful and appreciative of each one of his students. He is genuinely happy to be there and happy to teach. Kris is also good at running the trainings if Coach Rob isnt there and he is very helpful as well. Also, I like the vibe of the gym. The people who train there are also generally cool and very helpful to me as a beginner. I have also learned a lot from them. Egos are checked at the door. It is not a large gym, but the people who train there consistently are generally always there and everyone takes the training seriously, even if there are moments of laughter. I think it is important to "feel a part of" a place like this and I certainly do. There is good comraderie. They welcomed me , an adult beginner, to their team. Now I can say I am apart of the Supreme Striking Team, the people who I train with are my Teammates, and Rob is my Coach and Teacher. Eventually, as I get to know everyone better, these people will also become my friends. I am grateful to have found Supreme Striking Martial Arts.
