When I insisted we met to clarify, his price was $1000 more than the original price and it became clear the scope of work he had in mind did not align with my expectations. George said he would call me back that evening after looking at the numbers to see if he could do better. He did not ever call. The next day, when I decided to hold off due to budget concerns, I communicated this respectfully. (I never signed any contract) In response, I received a series of unprofessional and harassing messages from George, the owner, (at 4:30 am!) including insults (calling me stupid several times) and inappropriate language.
