First visit with Dr. Barish & I felt so comfortable. This practice has lots of specialty Doc's, they draw bloodwork, & I think X-ray's.

So many doctors have left this practice thru the years . The two doctors that are left have so many patients - it is impossible to get in to see them when you need to. Instead they have several nurse practitioners that they call " doctors" . In truth they have a doctorate in nursing not MDs . This is fine for simple conditions but I have found each one has different opinions about treatments. It is much better to have an MD that you see on a regular basis . They get to know you much better as a whole and they are better with complicated conditions. The office is so disorganized and good luck ever getting a call back, referrals or refills. You need to go there in person to get anything done . They also mess up appointments and blame the patient . One positive is that everything you need is under one roof which is very convenient . They used to have complimentary rides but they stopped doing that . I realize they are saving money using nurse practitioners but they need more MDs that are not overwhelmed by their patient load . Perhaps the office staff needs more help so they can be less disorganized . read more

It is great that everything is under one roof but you can't get anyone to return calls . I have called for my results for almost 2 weeks and the doctors assistant does not call back . This is an ongoing problem with this practice . I know they are busy but patients need to know the outcome of certain tests . I had seen Dr Wecer at another practice. I followed up with him at PPC on 4800 Linton Blvd. Delray. My records were not at PPC so he had no idea why I needed a f/u visit with him. Which I should have known to request my own records My fault. My cholesterol was 220 last June. He gave me a script for labs. Went for my blood work up I received an email from lab corp on my lab results. I gave PPC a few more days. Did not here from them. I phoned them for the results, which they said they did not receive. Also, Asked how I would go about getting my records to their office. That was on a thurs. On Monday I phoned spoke to the same woman who told me she hadn't had a chance to check to see if my labs came in. When I asked about my records she said that I needed to contact the previous office that Dr Wecer was previously in. She was nasty and rude. I asked to speak to the office manager which she told me there was not a manger in this office. Maybe 3 days later Romeo e finally called me with my lab results. I recently moved to Florida. I have never ever experienced this before in any medical office. This woman I wish I remembered her name should not be working in the medical field. Doesn't even deserve 1 star review. (They have a call center taking there calls, you can't speak to the office and if they tell you any different they're lying again.) Suffering from conjunctivitis and eye drops are not working. Called the office and left a voicemail. No one called back. The only person I can speak with is the answering service, who obviously can't help. A whole day later and still no prescription. This place is full of dishonest, untrustworthy people. I will NEVER come back here! I have given them a 1 star otherwise I could not post this review they deserve a zero star. For the following reason, always expect some sort of wait as they are currently understaffed and overbooking. I had a visit on 9/26/2022 for a routine visit and was in a room for over 45 minutes waiting to see a Dr. I was also told my regular Dr. only comes in 1 week a month and he is still employed and no updates were sent to his patients. Do yourself a favor and stay away. My health care provider is Maria Reyes. Although she is ok, it's the support and administrative staff are the worst. No one returns calls or responds to messages in the patient portal. I have enough stress in my life already. I don't need my healthcare provider adding to it. Apparently they do not care about their patients. I'm retired from the Army and availability for health care providers in this area are limited. To my fellow military retirees, especially those who suffer from stress issues, go somewhere else. Nothing more frustrating to us military veterans are people who are derelict in the performance of their job. I no longer trust them with me or my wife's health care going forward. I have been a patient of Dr Barish, but when I need an emergency appointment, she is never available. I had to see Dr Tannenbaum and I had the worst experience. I called for test results and was told she would call me. She never did, and when I called back some random person told me to go to a specialist. I was never told why, and when I questioned it, I was transferred to the voicemail of Dr Tannenbaum's assistant. I left a message and then went to MedExpress, where I was treated for my problem. No specialist needed! The assistant called me later in the day and I didn't care what she had to say. Later, Dr Tannenbaum called me, told me her opinion, and then hung up on me. Sigh, I wrote a review in March saying how poor their organization is and that we go weeks with out a prescription because they don't return calls or fill anything on time. My wife went two weeks without important medication due to the office never answering the phone or calling back. The reason I'm leaving this review again is because someone named "Elan" responded, apologizing and saying they would like to discuss the situation to improve it. But they called me "Alfred". Not my name, so not only are they not getting back to us, they are copying and pasting their reply which means they are issuing this apology a lot. Communication is none! Went there a week ago for a physical clearance for eye surgery and they still have not sent the paperwork to the dr. The surgery is tomorrow'. Not sure if it will happen. Numerous vm have been left and never a return call. I only come here for minor issues but it seems they can't even handle those! Will definitely be looking for a new place to go read more
