This is how you turn on a New Yorker :). I chose them to install granite countertops with under-mount sinks in 3 rental units we renovated. Being totally clueless about granite installation I overly researched the process. Even after all of that I didn't realize they all have a different way of charging and different items covered during the process. When I spoke with the owners about my concerns I felt reassured that I had chosen the right team. What I love about Wenbo and Jennie is that they have the granite onsite so you are able to see the quality of the stones they use. I also love that they also cut, polish and seal the stone onsite too. That is huge because it will save you so much time from the moment they go to your location to measure the countertop space and do the templates to the date of installation. I am so blessed to have been able to find and work with true professionals in their field. Jennie and Wenbo you two are definitely my to-go-to team for my future renovation projects. I would rate it negative if I could…read more The owner's wife claims that she knows EVERYTHING about the interior design while complaining about our kitchen was so small. She made fun of what I was thinking and her suggestions were actually incorrect and all the measurement her husband took was all wrong. Since they were recommended by a contractor, I chose to trust them at the beginning and the disaster has begun. First, since all the measurements were wrong, they ordered the wrong cabinets, my corner cabinets were wrong and they said just make the sink not to face the middle of the window, then I could use the wrong cabinet. Also, they said, in order to use the cabinets that they already delivered, I could just take out the door trims so it would fit. The idea was horrible! They wanted you to accommodate their mistakes ! Imagine you have to use the sink everyday which is not aligned with the center and also the door with no trim around it. Anyway, I insisted they exchanged to the right size of the cabinets and of course, a LOT of attitude and complaining why I was so picky. Moving on to the installation of the counter top. First, I chose a very beautiful granite stone and told them how I would want it to be cut. They refused to show and confirm what was the final design because they were "BUSY". The tragedy happened when they delivered the counter top, it was the exactly the cut I keep warning them that I DON'T want. The edge was black and white so you can tell immediately that the seam was there. I understand there will be a color variation, but that shouldn't be emphasized like that. Plus, why they would refuse a customer to go onsite to check their 2000 dollars investment ? At the end, the owner yelled at me very loud and took the whole granite away. It was very intimidating as my husband wasn't there. This place will be your last place to do business with. They use "hand drawing" to design your kitchen, card board to do the molding of your counter top. Our final counter top was designed by a local kitchen studio, the owner used laser to measure and cut the stone. The installation was super professional and pleasant (GRANITE & KITCHEN STUDIO).

Eddie came out for a 1 hour consultation, and not only had techniques and products to help encourage the high and low lights of the new wood grain to match the existing floors, but also knew the finishing products to encourage the aged patina. After our professional home kitchen build firm couldn't find a flooring specialist in their expansive network who were even willing to try to meet our needs, I found Elite flooring by chance. Eddie and his team scored a home run with accuracy, professionalism, precision, and work ethic. His team completed the job under budget and ahead of schedule. Not one inch of our custom cabinets or appliances were damaged, and the clean up was impressive. The tile backsplash again was a precise job, and he finished it ahead of schedule and under budget. Three guys, one day, left my home all day and would even trust these guys to babysit! I will be having Elite flooring back to refinish the floors in rest of my house, and to do bathrooms. We wanted to replace the bedroom carpet and thought we'd deal with a local company instead of a big box store. The showroom at Cook & Kozlak had a big selection of carpet styles and quality. Christine walked us through some selections in the color family we liked, and gave is a few sample boards to take home and ponder on. After we selected the carpet, Sam came out to measure up the room and prepare the final estimate. He was very personable and professional. A few days later we received a phone call to schedule the installation and we agreed to Monday at 9:00. That never happened. I called at 9:30, and was told the crew was running late and they would be here between 10:00 and 10:30. When the crew did arrive, there was no explanatiion and no apology - so I'm not sure they knew we were promised 9:00? Had I not called at 9:30, I doubt we would have learned of the new time until they rang the door bell. The install went fairly smooth, but there were a few minor issues. The most serious was that I didn't like the way the carpet rubbed against the closet bypass doors. That wasn't met with much of a response except for "you may have to shave down the door".
