They mostly have to raise thier voices at each other. On this day thats what was happening. My patient was having an extremely difficult time hearing, and it was creating emotional moments. The caregiver Kayli from Home Instead took our patient to her room to lay down as requested. During this time Kayli was comforting her with such amazing encouragement and love. This calmed the situation within just a few minutes. Kayli has a heart that calls for her to help people in the most difficult moments. Not everyone has these gifts. A very special person!!

I would call it overstepping of boundaries. Also, they keep patient captive in the home. Nobody including family is allowed to visit. Why you ask? Their caregivers are busy with school work, meetings, and skyping or social networking rather than engaging the patient and working to get the patient well. Why they even block relatives phones, so they can't text or call there family member. Terrible combo of ex prisoners working and dishonest people who could care less except getting the dollars out of your pocket. Steer clear - you will be happy you did! Police were called and long story made short. She was are rested and sent to prison. It's bad enough to be robbed by a healtH care companies employee. We find out that no background check whatsoever was done on this person. Sure they made sure she was fired. But took no responsibility at all. I would not recommend them at all. Plenty of honorable companies out there. Word of mouth works both ways. Stay away from this company. They take no responsibility for there employees. Your elderly parents deserve better. Much better. Zero stars. Would be me ten stars to the negative. Call the better bUsiness bureau. See who has no complaints.

Do not recommend this provider. Mother has Alzheimer's and they have been unable to provide care…read moremost needed for her- assistance bathing, eating, etc. All they've done is clean. She is declining quickly and we need to move to Care Facility ASAP, they are requiring a 2 week notice or they will charge on top of Care facility. Affording both is not possible for a spouse that is 80. Read the contract closely, if someone's health needs change quickly you could be stuck paying double for their care.
