I was insulted by the salesman and left the building thoroughly confused as to how they conduct business. My second experience was better but still not ideal. Customer Care was great, she listened, delivered a well mannered apology on behalf of the dealership, and went to the sales manager to see if there was a deal to be made. The sales manager was unwilling to move off sticker, despite the fact that k was outright insulted by his salesman. The third experience is where things picked up. The GM stepped in and cut the price to an appt level. After some haggling we agreed to meet on a deal, an when time came to deal everything was as advertised. It took entirely too long to get there and some of the worst sales tactics I've ever seen, but I signed on the car at a decent price. Could be so much better but at least they came to the table and acted fair in the end.

Now he has Excellent auto. He sells junk and collects on the warranty work. I have bought from him before he started Excellent auto. I refuse to buy his garbage now. This is the 2nd vehicle that I bought from him that I had to put thousands of dollars into before it's even paid off. The day that I picked up my last vehicle it had a blown break line and when Rob went to pull it in the garage the wheel fell off. His mechanic was to worried about going home that he never tighten the lugnuts. The same mechanic was having a bad day, and kicked a welder into my other vehicle that I bought from them and left a green strip on the back. I'm ready to get another vehicle, but I will not consider this place. Excellent auto is a joke and Rob is a consisted piece of trash that needs to treat his employees and customers better.

There are TSB's about this issue on the A8 transmissions. Seemed to solve the problem back then. Here now 2020 and 4 months past the drive train warranty and its starts to shudder again. I'm thinking this is going to cost me a fortune even if GM covers part of it as 'good faith' dropped it off this morning at Mangino Service in Amsterdam. Well Mike Coffey Jr and the team figured out there was another newer TSB calling for an improved Mobil oil that seemed to solve this problem. They verified with the Florida dealer what oil they used and realized there was a better oil out there. Picked the car up this afternoon, shifts smoother then ever before, here's the keys, no charge. (and believe it or not--was charged for repairs they caused from previous work). Coincidence? When we left it with them last time they didn't return our calls trying to keep apprised of the status after a 2 week wait. We always had to call and when we finally got the service manager on the phone day 8 he said they hadn't looked at it to diagnose it yet! Received it back the 5th and last time and yes-- another repair needed immediately. It was confirmed by a few other garages that the last repair they did definitely was caused by their improper repair the previous time. Dominoes effect! Never going back & never buying another General Motors car. This advice--from 3 shop pro mechanics & 2 other car dealers. If you want a safe vehicle and good service, and a vehicle that works, look elsewhere.
