As always, Mangino's service department deserves an A+. They brought my car in at my appointment time, and delivered is 10 minutes ahead of their quoted finish time. Everything was done in a 1st Class manner, and my wife and I enjoyed are time spent in their beautifully remodeled showroom and waiting lounge. We enjoyed a cookie, and a cup of coffee while watching their large-screen TV. My only "complaint" was that they didn't take longer for the process so that we could have enjoyed a 2nd cup of coffee. My first experience with Mangino was the worst sales experience I've ever had. They were unprepared, unenthusiastic and unwilling to make a deal. I was insulted by the salesman and left the building thoroughly confused as to how they conduct business. My second experience was better but still not ideal. Customer Care was great, she listened, delivered a well mannered apology on behalf of the dealership, and went to the sales manager to see if there was a deal to be made. The sales manager was unwilling to move off sticker, despite the fact that k was outright insulted by his salesman. The third experience is where things picked up. The GM stepped in and cut the price to an appt level. After some haggling we agreed to meet on a deal, an when time came to deal everything was as advertised. It took entirely too long to get there and some of the worst sales tactics I've ever seen, but I signed on the car at a decent price. Could be so much better but at least they came to the table and acted fair in the end. read more

Fantastic dealership. Very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. After getting jerked around at some of the big chain dealerships I was pleasantly surprised to have a salesman actually interested in what I needed, not just trying to sell me what they had in stock. Pricing was as good or better than the high pressure dealers. This is what you always wished the car (truck in my case,) buying experience could be like. went in for a flat tire repair. 2 hours later I have 4 psi sensors that dont work. They worked when I dropped it off. So instead of a $300 tire I am out that plus $1000 in parts they broke. No accountability, spoke with the manager who was totally dismissive and walked away mid conversation. What terrible customer service. I wont ever bring my vehicle there again. read more

I made an appointment for an oil change and new brakes and to check a rattle under car. I had to wait a week to get my car in to be serviced. I was told to bring it in first thing in the morning. So, I arrived between 7:30 and 8:00 AM and dropped off the car. Around 4pm I called the service department to see if my car was ready to be picked up. I was told tersely and without any apology or explanation "We haven't even looked at it yet". I said "Are you kidding me!! I made this appointment 7 days ago and was told to bring my car in the first thing in the morning!!!!" Then I was abruptly told that I was not the only one with this issue. So, I picked my car up at 5PM and promptly called Monro in Johnstown, NY, because my brakes were grinding quite bad having had to wait a full week for Mangino's appointment!!! They took my car in the NEXT MORNING and I picked it up later that day with new brakes and oil change. Incidentally, when I was waited for my ride to pick me up at Mangino's that morning I had been looking at cars in the lot. I spotted 2 that I thought I might want to price, one for my daughter and one for me. I can tell you that after that service fiasco, I will NEVER consider buying a car from this dealership. Everytime I see one of their ridiculous ads on TV I laugh, and I certainly have been telling all my friends about this terrible experience. I will NEVER make another service appointment or deal with this dealership again!!!! read more

Buyer beware!!! Drove 2 two hours to test drive a vehicle, before leaving home we confirmed our appointment to test drive and purchase only to get there and have a an employee take the car home. Wanted us to wait for him to drive the car back to dealership and wait around, knowing it was well over a 15 minute drive back, we were already sitting in cube for 30 minutes. While they tried to find the car. We have them 15 more minutes and their reply was "well that's not going to happen" Needless to say we will never be back or recommend Mangino to anybody. Do not trust anything they tell you! Mangino responded with a generic reply from someone who no longer works there. I started the car buying process with Dan, he was real nice. Several people spoke very highly of the Mangino Chevrolet Service Department, and they exceeded my expectations. Service Advisor Jodi Vannie took my truck 15 minutes before my appointment, and they completed the service exactly 45 minutes later as promised. I would never have taken the time to sign up for Yelp and write this review if this dealership stopped emailing me after repeated requests to be taken off the email list. I just don't trust their service techs to diagnose vehicles. Last example was a concern I had that I had a wheel bearing going. When the tech went through the vehicle, I was assured it wasn't the wheel bearing but a bad transmission. They wanted to remove it and tear it apart to figure out what was wrong with it to the tune of thousands. Took the car home and decided to replace the front wheel bearing and drive shafts anyways and low and behold it was a bad wheel bearing. Took a diesel truck there a number of years ago. Truck would slip into second gear after about 35 miles of driving and would not come out until it was parked and sat for a while. They replaced all sensors on the transmission at about a thousand. 35 miles later, did it again. Ended up being a sensor under the dash that they found when I insisted they drive the vehicle 35 miles +. Wanted about another thousand for that one. Told them I would pay for the part but not for the labor. No confidence whatsoever with there service department. If you want me to stop leaving feedback about my negative experiences please stop sending me emails which I clearly do not want to receive asking me to bring my car by because it's been a while. read more

Outstanding Service Department. Michael did an excellent job !!! Very impressed with this young mans customer service skills. This is coming from someone with 25 years of customer service experience. The rest of the crew also seemed to know who we were and why we were there and all made an effort to greet us and inquire. Also observed the team handling a customer who was holding up the show. My 2012 Sonic was totaled early in January. Given that I really liked my old Sonic and I had walked away from the crash without even a mild case of whiplash, I wanted another. Originally went in to purchase a used truck but they gave us a very fair price for our trade-in and a good deal on the price of a new truck. Great deal on accessories and an unbeatable interest rate on our loan. Our salesman, Mike Dumblewski was excellent, knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with - highly recommend. Ok, when this business was owned by Longwell Chevrolet, they had affordable repair prices and great mechanics. Now, they have out of this world repair prices and lousy mechanics. Their car prices have escalated as well. They've worked on two of my cars, and both times I've returned the cars to be reworked since the original problem still existed, again, nothing was fixed, but I still had to pay (windshield washer motor, and brake problems on the other car). Now, I just take my cars to a local auto mechanic who actually fixes the problem at a fraction of the cost. Don't like the fact I never had problems under original owner, but now, every time I bring the cars to get fixed, nothing seems to work, yet I'm charged almost $300 each time! No more for me! read more
