Peruz had originally helped us purchase our home a year ago, which was a great experience all around. We incurred quite a bit of debt since then due to a brief period of unemployment, as well as some major purchases, and were looking for a way to leverage our home equity to consolidate the debt. This was a huge challenge due to the fact that my wife and I had just started new jobs, and most lenders want to see +6 months stable income in order for it to be considered for the loan.
