I bought a 2017 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab 1500 from Peruzzi Buick GMC, and within WEEKS the problems started. Less than 30 days in, the tire pressure sensor failed. Even worse, the air conditioning -- which worked at purchase -- completely stopped working within three weeks. I brought the truck back as instructed. After keeping it, they told me the warranty wouldn't cover the issues. Then came the real insult: a $1,500 repair bill plus a $200 diagnostic fee, and they only offered to cover $500. So let's be clear -- they sold a vehicle that developed problems almost immediately, then stuck me with the bill. What makes this even worse is how they represent themselves: "Putting family first since 1984" and claiming they "welcome customers into the Peruzzi family" while aiming to exceed expectations. Stay far away. Most dealerships charge more and that's to be expected for the comfort of going to the dealerships. That is not my issue. My issue is this dishonesty, not putting customers first, and not backing up what was promised. I was told I was given a rent a car to be paid by them in May, Six months later I get a charge from the rental car place for almost $150. I contacted the Rent-A-Car facility and they said that the dealership was supposed to pay for it in their notes but but after six months without getting payment they charged me. I called four times never got returned callbacks always had to continue to call and reach out when they said they were going to call me back. I finally spoke to the manager, Mike, who basically said the person that told me that they would be paying for the car no longer works there so they have no way to prove it so meanwhile I'm stuck with $150 bill. Mike was NOT understanding, sympathetic or putting the customer first as they claim to do. He didn't even have the professionalism or decency to return my phone calls. I had to keep reaching out. It is not the amount of money it's the principal and how they should back up what was told to the customer. Why would anybody pay $150 for 24 hour car rental? Nice low pressure place to buy a car. I worked with Bill who made the buying, trade in and financing process quick and easy. The price I paid wasn't the lowest; I could have driven 30 miles more and saved a few bucks. But it was fair enough compared to what was available on the market and the closets branch to home, which will let me easily take advantage of their free maintenance offer. One of the best parts about dealing with Peruzzi was that they don't kill your whole day and leave you stuck in the showroom, while they dodder around doing paperwork and looking for managers. It took about 1.5 hours and a few emails to get everything done. They do go thru the predictably tedious dealer upgrade list (warranty, tire protection, dent coverage, etc) but it's not too bad or pushy, especially when compared to other dealers. Was in talks with the internet sales manager about a car. Was told it would be ready to view upon my arrival at 3 pm the next day. I drove an hour to get to the dealership and when I arrived the car was atrocious. There was no attempt to clean or detail any part of it. The salesman kept telling me "his guys are awesome and would have it looking like new". Apparently it had just come from the mechanics who were giving it a once over - ‍the engine light was on when I viewed it. There was a container of body powder and multiple personal items still left in the vehicle. There was an MLM vinyl logo plastered on the back window. The car's back bumper was popped off on one side and major scrapes still along the wheel well. I should have known they weren't ready to sell and just walked but I had already drove an hour to get there. I test drove it anyway and sat for a conversation. The salesman had every excuse for their failures and car's problems but went over mine with a fine tooth comb to find every minor hair. After being underwhelmed with my trade-ins (a newer car than I was trying to buy) value the salesman explained my offer. That's when the salesman added on almost $6000 for a warranty and their signature perruzzi plan we hadn't even discussed. I explained that I wanted a lesser warranty and no Perruzzi plan but despite this no offer came back without the perruzi plan. The offers made the price of the car $5000 more than advertised and while I would have paid for a warranty, I never asked for a combo package. Pretty horrible service to say a car will be ready and have it not even be touched by detailing. Pretty horrible service to not listen to the customer's wants. They obviously want a customer who will buy a warranty, a perruzzi plan, and to finance through them so they could make extra extra money off of interest. Greedier than necessary. Plain and simple, they offer low prices so they can jack it up with pure profit additives. Their customer service is to lie and not listen so they can satiate their greed. Lousy service- lousy. Made an appointment a week in advance to wait for my GMC Acadia. Got there 15 minutes early, no one came outside and the service bay door wasn't open. Walked in, gave my name and was told I'd have to leave it, despite making arrangements to wait. Asked my advisor if I should have someone pick me up, was told it would be a few hours, so I left then 15 minutes later, got a call my car was ready. Turned right back around to get it, unnecessarily inconvenienced. When car was ready, was not given an overview of the service, had to ask what was done, had to ask about tires, next service, zero communication. Service advisor John was nice, and was surprised no one in the service area provided any details. Asked when next service is due was told when the signal comes on. Disappointed. Took my Denali XL in for service. After hearing the list if things needed (after someone finally answered the phone after multiple attempts to reach someone), I decided to pursue a new vehicle through them and trade in my old car. They had two vehicles available....... An AT4 and a Yukon XL, both 2023, and BOTH with $7,500 "MARKET ADJUSTMENT" above sticker. As I was traveling at the time, I was clear to sales team I needed to purchase one of the two vehicles when I returned Friday (conversation had on Tuesday), I did not question the market adjustment, I was desperate, and I needed a vehicle. I even offered to leave a deposit on one of the vehicles to hold it. On Thursday evening, prior to flying home Friday, I received a call that NEITHER vehicle was going to be available to me for sale. The AT4 was "in the shop" and the Yukon XL was being "courtesy held" by Fred Peruzzi for a friend who would make a decision IF he wanted to buy the vehicle on the following Monday. Not having repairs done on the other vehicle, I had no means of transportation upon my return. I frantically called around Thursday PM and just happened to find an identical AT4 at O'Neill GMC that had just been delivered WITHOUT a market adjustment. Now having the time to review the recommended work on my old vehicle more closely, I found Ewing was recommending work on brakes, control arms, and engine mounts that had been done by another shop within the last eighteen months. Thankfully I did not authorize these duplicative, unnecessary repairs. To add insult, I picked up my old car just to find out they charge customers a 3% fee for paying with credit OR debit cards. *PSA!* Check OTHER DEALERSHIPS before going here.  While the staff is relatively nice, they are painfully inept, inconsiderate, and some are liars to boot.  My story ends with 5 hours of wasted driving time over two weekends, an unwarranted hard inquiry on my credit and a Buick whose propeller shaft fell out during a test drive, all before selling it to someone else while I was on my way back. The deceit started with the pictures online.  One perfect looking TourX with lots of pictures including left and right sides- or so I thought.  This is combined with the ineptitude starting with the phone call as we were on our way down 1.5 hours from the Lehigh Valley.  "Just want you to be aware that the car is not ready to sell right now, as it is waiting on a part."  No problem, i don't mind making two trips, i really want to check it out and see if I can secure it.  When we arrived we found the passenger side mirror dangling by the wires, with adhesive spilled on the side of it and the pillar it attaches to.  Packing tape was dangling off it from the failed attempt to suspend it during the makeshift glue job.  What about those pictures online?  Oh, the one of the passenger side?  It's actually the one of the driver's side, mirrored.  Deceit.  (These pictures are attached) This is a minor offense... And the car may not be ready to sell right now, but you know what would have been important to communicate?  Can't test drive it either.  Well that was a complete waste of time.  The sales manager, Jason, at least bragged about how it has a new "transfer case" (I hate that Buick calls center differentials "transfer cases" but I digress) that they got from submitting a warranty replacement for a gasket.   Aside from this disappointment, everything else looks OK.  We return to the valley and plan our trip back out there next weekend (we are busy M thru F people).  Our sales rep gave us a call and informed us that they got the part, the vehicle has been fixed and is ready to go.   We call when we're on our way down again.  An anecdote about the calls:  Every call to the dealership, we get a happy woman gladly attempting transferring us to the person we requested (Mark, our sales rep).  But every time she does this, somebody else picks up!  "Sorry, we're looking to speak with Mark" I say.  We're placed on hold again and someone else answers, "Hello?"  Dude I'm not calling your personal cell phone.  Answer the phone like a professional, not "Hello?" Anyway, we arrive and the first thing I do is inspect that side view mirror.  Interestingly there was adhesive on the pillar and the side view mirror itself, just like when it was dangling.  Is this the same mirror?  Is this glued on?  Yes.  They didn't get the replacement part, and they didn't fix it.  They jury rigged it.  Who knows if they would've tried to snake out of that repair if I hadn't caught that- who knows if the person who actually ended up buying it knew this. Well let's drive it.  Hop in, start, pull out of the dealership onto Rt 1 and not even 3 whole feet from the dealership we here a *CLUNK* and grinding noise.  We pull over and check the underside to find a comical scene: the propeller shaft just hanging down, grinding along the asphalt.  Now I'm very thankful Jason mentioned that the "transfer case" was just replaced.  Now I know not to trust their mechanics with literally anything.  In my experience those pinions have a minimum of four bolts that attach to the prop shaft.  Didn't think those mysterious bolts left over were that important? Inept So once again the car is not ready to sell.  I trusted they were going to repair it properly (I wouldn't have it any other way), so I offered to put a deposit on it.  They refused.  We left empty handed again.   Another phone call telling us it's ready, and another plan to visit on Saturday.  A text message to our rep the day before letting him know we'll be there at 1PM just like the last two times.  Imagine our disappointment when the next morning he advises us someone is coming in at 10AM to see the same vehicle.  Imagine the frustration when he lets us know at 12:00PM that it sold.   5 hours of driving, $40 in tolls, two weekends wasted.  Glad we could work out all of those kinks for you at our expense of time and tolls.  I don't care so much that I didn't get this car, I care that you tremendously wasted my valuable time and are so apathetic about it.  This dealership is an absolute joke.  I understand dealerships are inherently self-serving but Peruzzi makes it abundantly clear that the sale matters more than the customer and that professionalism and virtuosity are contrary to their precepts. read more

I purchased my vehicle from The GMC location with platinum level Peruzzi plan and leaving the dealership the day of purchase I noticed a wheel bearing noise that wasn't present on the test drive due to roads the test drive was taken on. I've since reported the issue on every servicing I had done. Each time I was told "nothing was found" for the next 40k miles. which was problem #1. I've since then gotten a 2nd and third opinion from another dealership and my local mechanic who both verified there was in fact multiple issues! More than just the wheel bearing. I bet now that my warranty has now ended the problems I've reported for 40k miles will magically appear. And I retained ALL of my service invoices to prove this! Problem #2 each servicing I went to, I made an appointment for first thing on Saturday morning and specifically stated I will be staying with the vehicle because I live in Jersey and the shuttle does not go that far. Each time I arrived there for my 7am scheduled service before 7 coming straight from work(I work over night) with only 1 or 2 cars in front of me. Each time whether an oil change or warranty/recall repair I was there from 7am-430pm (with a scheduled 7am appointment time). There was never any mention of a courtesy vehicle (which is not available) or a rental. It wasn't until I became fed up one day recently and demanded a rental that one was appointed to my from the neighboring car rental facility. Less than 1/4 mile away. Needless to say. I am not very happy. DISCLAIMER: if you plan to purchase... make sure it's everything you absolutely want in that vehicle because once you sign the "cool down period disclaimer" all sales are final!! Most dealerships offer a week or two and you can return or exchange for another on their lot at the risk of your down payment. They do not. Once you leave the lot, that's the end all be all! Last week I had a bad experience with the Service Dept at Peruzzi GMC regarding my 2017 Acadia and the grease and dirt left inside of the driver compartment following service and posted a negative review. Since then, Nick the Service Manager, addressed my issues and concerns quickly and to my satisfaction. At this point, I am more than willing to give them another chance. I was assured these issues were addressed and measures were taken to prevent future problems. This is a service / customer first dealership. I was in roadside a jam recently I called the dealership to speak with someone from the Service Dept. Unfortunately for me the Department was closed because it was after 6. The receptionist tried to look up an answer to my Yukon's issue but couldn't find one. The receptionist! How's that for a customer service first approach?! Then it got better, she transferred me to the sales manager, and to be honest, I was thinking, " oh great, all he'll want me to do get the car towed in an then try to trade me in a new one". We'll I apologize for my thoughts. Just an FYI if you need to go to a car dealer, avoid Peruzzi in Langhorne. The asst manager in service had a complete attitude with me when I brought my car in this morning and treated me as if I was clueless I guess because I'm a woman. The unprofessional attitude though was what really burned me. I bit my tongue and left but when I saw the service report of what needed done I sent pics to my regular mechanic who I trust and he pulled my reports from less than two weeks ago and agreed they were out right lying about work needing done. I came in for potential warranty work and they were trying to scam me for a few thousand of unnecessary repairs. When I picked up my car I mentioned the reports and info I had and they attempted to bash that my trusted mechanic was clueless. I've been going to them for years and they are definitely reliable. He gave attitude and the manager tried to say he didn't have attitude with me. They are unprofessional and trying to scam people saying work needs done that absolutely doesn't. I searched almost every car dealership in the area to find a used suv with low mileage. The places I ended up gave me too little for my trade and the payment was way too high for the price tag. Not only was my salesman (Victor) not at all pushy, he could tell whether or not I liked the car I was driving, rather than just push the sale. The finance manager was awesome at explaining the warranty options for my vehicle and they fit in the warranty into my monthly budget. Everyone there was very friendly, they were very fair, and I will send my friends, clients and family to this place in a heartbeat. Honest, friendly, and most of them have been there for many years. Wow. I'm still in shock over this experience. Despite a colossal waste of my time, energy and money, and apparent disrespect for me, I'll try and remove emotion from this review and stick to the facts. Buyers beware! Hopefully, this review will save someone else the tremendously negative experience I had with these people. All communication with persons at this dealership was in writing by email. I communicated with several individuals at this dealership. I can produce the date and time stamped transcripts for anyone who may question the accuracy of my account. I was shopping nationwide for a specific vehicle. I found a few prospects and decided to reach out to Peruzzi about the one in their possession because it had the lowest miles. I reached out to them shortly after they listed the vehicle for sale. I was preauthorized by my lender. I also completed Peruzzi's credit application. I had a trade-in and I had cash for whatever down payment they might need. I'm over 2 hours away from them. I told them if the car was as advertised, I want to buy it. In this day and age, it is no big deal to buy and sell virtually anything entirely online. Am I right? No personal contact necessary. It happens every day. For this reason, I was a little taken back when they kept asking when I can come in before letting me know if I could buy the car. I can come in when you let me know the car is ready for me to take possession. I shouldn't even need to come in for that because the car could be shipped like anything else. Right? Why would I travel over 2 hours to maybe buy a vehicle? I can view it online. I can sign documents online. We can exchange any information online. There are online notaries. I can even order an independent inspection entirely online. I didn't want to go through the trouble of travelling there unless I knew I was coming home with the vehicle. They reviewed my credit application and said I was good to go. Ok. Sell me the car. Email communication goes back and forth with them for about 2 weeks. They still insisted on me coming in. Therefore, despite my reservations of doing so, I made appointment arrangements with Mick to come in. My appointment was at 9:00 AM the next day. Mick confirms with me that the vehicle is still available. He also informs me that someone else is coming in to view the vehicle, but he'll let me know by 5:00 PM the day before my appointment if they sell the car. That was a red flag for me. Why are you showing the car today when you know I want to buy the car; you told me I'm good to buy the car; and I have an appointment to come in? I thought that was weird. Anyways, 5:00 PM comes and passes. The entire day passes with no word from Mick or anyone else about the car being sold. I get up early the next morning and check emails again to see if there's any word from Mick or someone else at the dealership. Nothing. Being over 2 hours away I had to be on the road before 7:00 AM to make my 9:00 AM appointment. After contending with ridiculous traffic and spending $22 in tolls I arrived at the dealership at 9:05 AM. I was a few minutes late because of traffic, accidents, detours and road closures. Circumstances beyond my control. I should still be good though because I was only a few minutes late, so I thought. I look at my phone and see an email from Mick sent at 9:04 AM saying the car sold yesterday. What!? So, I went through all that trouble, travelled all that distance, passed up on other cars (which sold during all the back-and-forth with these people) for absolutely nothing. In fact, less than nothing. I have their inquiry on my credit. I spent money on tolls and gas, and put hundreds of miles and wear and tear on my vehicle for them to inform me on the day of my appointment after my scheduled appointment time that I am absolutely an inconsequential afterthought. Ok. Message received. What I didn't receive was courtesy, respect, professionalism or accountability. While purchasing a 2017 Buick Encore around July of 2018 we were told that Peruzzi provides free state inspections for all cars you own. Wife just took car in for first inspection today and was told that since the vehicle does not require an emissions test she will have to pay 37.00 for the inspection. The car is registered in a county that does not require emissions. Over the years, We bought and had maintained a new Frontier, Titan, Altima, Soltice, GMC Sierra and the Encore. Quite a bit of business. Now they've ended the relationship by charging me for what was suppose to be a free state inspection. So sad. read more

Buyers beware! Went to Peruzzi to see a pre owned expedition. Was listed as "make offer". Test drove the vehicle and let the salesman know the breaks didn't feel right. Talked price with the rep and agreed upon a price as long as the breaks were fixed. Put down a deposit. Got a call later saying they took the truck to their shop and discovered more work that needed to be done and they were increasing the price by $2,000. Not only did they put a car with bad breaks on the lot for customers to drive, but they increased pricing after deals were made. Also had my 2 year old with me for the test drive, so it really blows my mind that they would knowingly let a car with bad or un-inspected breaks leave their lot with a customer and a child. My father-in-law recently purchased a used Corvette from Peruzzi's, and a few weeks after driving it off the lot, less than 30 days from purchase, there was an issue with the transmission. Things happen. No dealership can predict future issues. That said, my father has been in the auto industry for over 30 years. I've been in the auto industry for over a decade. And the unwritten rule on used vehicles is a 30-day in-house warranty. If anything significant goes wrong within those 30 days, the dealership should, and almost always does, resolve the issue without charging the customer. I emailed Peruzzi's privately and never got a response. They want to charge my father-in-law close to $2,000 to fix the problem because he purchased the Corvette "as is." The term "as is" applies to the vehicle's condition when it leaves the lot. "As is" means any known problem, cosmetic or mechanical, will not be resolved at the time of sale, and the customer is willingly purchasing the vehicle in that condition. For Peruzzi to respond that the vehicle was sold "as is" means they either knew about the issue and never disclosed it, OR they're desperate not to do right by their customers. PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE PURCHASING A USED VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. IF THEY CHANGE THEIR MINDS AND DECIDE TO DO THE RIGHT THING, I WILL UPDATE THIS POST. I have been a customer in the service for nearly 20 years. NEVER had a problem. My only comment is I hope at some point in time they finish up with the outside consultants and settle down with the change in personal. Every time i become comfortable with a service writer or service manager it seems they move on! My partner and I went here to get his car serviced and it was absolutely fantastic! They had a shuttle who picked me up while he was at work and they bent over backwards to help him. If it was the service department alone, I would give this place five stars. On the other hand, we received a note to trade in his current car and the gentleman we were supposed to speak with was ill that week so we spoke with a gentleman named Mark. Absolute worst salesman that I had ever encountered. He was rude and condescending and did not even try. He marked things at as damaged on the vehicle when they weren't and seemed more like he was trying to get rid of us instead of helping us. He also changed his demeanor completely as soon as he realized we were a gay couple. That experience alone makes me want to rate this place with one star. This dealership's service department keeps all their prices hidden no where can you find a price for service whereas other dealerships in the surrounding area have prices posted and even list "service specials" I took my car in for a simple oil change and tire rotation the bill for this service was just under $100 needless to say that amount was about $40 more than another dealership that has advertised specials so it may be a while that I will visit Peruzzi for service again talk about getting reamed! I take my car here for all my maintenance. I think the guys at the service desk are informative and helpful. The prices are not bad and I have never felt that they overcharge. One other good thing is that they always check my vehicle for recalls and fix the issue during my regularly scheduled appointments. (I have an Acadia so it always has a recall or two.) One time, I used their shuttle service and the guy did mach speed and made me a little nervous. read more

The saleseman was nice enough and I was treated well by staff. Avoid the words "as is" on their vehicles, and make sure they offer an extended warranty or walk away. I bought a used GMC Sierra that started falling apart after I bought it and after the 90 day rescission period. I let them fix the heatand a window motor, all told I spent $1000 on it after the purchase; the mechanic thought I was a regular customer not a dissatisfied recent purchase....so he did the usual checkup and found a whole list of things needing to be fixed only 4 months after the purchase. Partly my fault I suppose for not having it looked over by my local mechanic but still it shouldn't have been put on the lot that way and in the future I won't shop there, even for new.. read more

Sleazy salesmen. Do NOT trust them. Do NOT look at their used cars online. They had the balls to use a bait and switch on me and my dad, even after we told them we were taking a long drive on the phone. We drove about 50 miles to hear some guy tell us the car we had requested to see was sold about 30 minutes upon our arrival. Yeah.... Okay... We should of known the car was too good to be true online. Well, thankfully I found a mint used 3.5SE Altima on our ride home at The Bridgewater Nissan. They actually had the car they advertised online. So I guess the long ride really benefited me after all... But not Peruzzi. read more

Service on my brakes was ok . Prices are higher than average. $60 book rate to change a light bulb. 2 screws holding it on- takes 90 seconds. I got a deal he says for $50. Never again. Do your homework... read more

This is in 2001 ,but i thought i share .This place sold me a convertible transam that was hit in the back .Frame was totally bent underneath the rear bumper .The next day i brought it back after my body shop look at it. They blame me and there was nothing wrong with the bumper (121 point dealer inspection) . I heard a tech that looked at the car say he felt really bad for me in the side hall way after bringing it back .They knew what was up and the sale manager playing dumb 30 day warranty my ass. I had to trade that in and got a new transam big lost around another 4000 .00 . I fell sorry for the next sorry soul on the same car . F*****g scum bags . I would never buy from this place again . Our winery needed a used truck to take wine to festivals from our Cream Ridge NJ location to festivals all over NJ. We also needed a truck that could stand up to being on a working vineyard - while looking good while out meeting customers. Cliff was able to find us the right truck! And then when we had a few issues with it, the service department stood behind it all the way and went way beyond what ever experienced from a service department. I was in an accident where someone totaled my vehicle, so I found myself forced to get a new (used) car. When I went here I found something I liked but needed an idea of what payment I would possibly end up with as I can't afford a high payment. So the salesman said he would run some numbers with a soft pull of my credit (not a hard inquiry since I know it's not great and didn't want multiple hits during the process) so I said ok since it wasn't a hard inquiry. Well the payment came in too high for my budget so I had to pass however the next day I got a notification (because I follow my credit) and these guys LIED 100% they did a hard inquiry. If I could dispute it I would, they were not authorized from what I was told too complete that. Thanks for the 3 point loss, which is why I didn't even consider looking to see if they had anything more affordable for me and I will tell anyone looking to avoid this place as they are definitely liars. read more
