2017 Ford F-150 Raptor SuperCrew…read more Issue: Vista panoramic power sunroof There are three specific problems: 1. Both plastic glass-panel guide/lever brackets are broken. 2. The water/drip trough (drip channel) is broken. 3. One of the lower plastic cable-guide/slider pieces that attaches to the sunroof operating cable has snapped off. Please fully inspect the entire sunroof mechanism and repair all three issues. This should include replacement of both updated guide brackets, the lower cable guide/slider (and associated cable as needed), and the water trough/drip channel. The above is a known Ford issue that they refused to do a recall or free repair. Ford Dealerships wanted $5K-6K to repair/replace to fix the problem. We did some google searches and found a few shops that had worked on these Ford F-150 issues. We contacted them using the above description and a few responded. Only 1 came back with a very reasonable estimate, East Coast T-Top & Sunroof. They were an hour away in Bristol PA. We called Jeff (the owner) to discuss and he spent dedicated time going over our issue and explaining his experience dealing with this problem. We setup the appointment and he was so flexible to take us based on our vacation schedule, he worked us into his very busy schedule. We felt very relieved and comfortable taking the hour drive to have him do the repair. When we arrived, Jeff explained that the estimate was based on the description provided and if he found other issues he would let us know the cost and to proceed. 3 days after drop off, we received the call from Jeff that issue was repaired at his estimated cost, he found no other issues. He really knows his stuff! When we picked it up, Jeff reviewed how it was repaired and spent quality time with us going over his details of making sure the alignment of the sunroof glass was perfect so that it will not leak, making sure everything was level and the seal trim around the glass was thoroughly cleaned and lubricated. He is very detailed oriented person which is what you want in someone dong the work. His years of experience are well worth the trip no matter how far you have to travel. He also explained why he believes these sunroofs break so often. If you do not clean and lubricate the seals around the edges of the sunroof, they will get stuck and when you try to open them causing the plastic guide/levers to break. He recommended that you clean and lubricate the seals around the edges of the sunroof often to keep the open/closing of the sunroof in good working condition. If you don't, you will be bringing your truck back to Jeff to repair again.

Jeff was quick and very generous with his responses. He helped me problem solve my issue without a…read morevisit simply by uploading pictures make and model and a description of my issue. I'd drive the hour and a half if I needed to to get his business.

Came in for a routine oil change with an appointment. 2.5 hours later, service advisor Amanda…read moreTroiano told me all 5 lugs and studs on one wheel were rusted out and needed replacement. When I asked how every single fastener on one wheel failed simultaneously, she couldn't explain it. I deferred the repair. She returned saying they'd "tightened everything as much as possible" and needed me to sign an unsafe vehicle waiver -- which I signed under pressure because I was already 2 hours late to work. I pulled out and the wheel was immediately wobbling. I turned around and asked for a manager. Richard Pizzo appeared 15 minutes later reminding me I'd signed the waiver. When I asked why they removed a wheel for an oil change, he said it was part of a multi-point inspection I never requested. When I pressed him on how all 5 studs corroded simultaneously, he told me I don't have an ASE certification. He also claimed the car was wobbling before it arrived -- despite me having driven 60 miles to get there with no issue. I asked him to pull the mechanic's own video. He watched it himself and found no mention of a wobble or stud issue anywhere. Pressed for time, I proceeded with the repair (~$500). I asked to see the car on the lift. Only one lug had a sheared stud -- the other four were intact (see photos). Yet Richard insisted on replacing all 5 for "safety reasons" -- the same safety they'd already waived. Only after I pointed out the contradiction did the price drop to $250. They stripped a bolt during the inspection, then lied about it three times: claiming they'd tightened all lugs as much as possible (car wobbled immediately), claiming the car came in wobbling (not documented in their own video), and claiming all five studs were corroded (photos show surface rust only, as expected on hardware hidden behind the hub). They claim to be ASE certified. Pretty sure one of those letters is a typo. Avoid this service department at all costs. Pics attached. Videos on google review.
