I can't rate that in Yelp but just know it was a great stay, we met so many cool people staying there too, and you should stay there if you come up to check out the barn. Onto the barn! This place has a rich history and I'm so impressed with the way they've maintained the original charm of the barn and grounds while also renovating with modern conveniences. There was a lot of time and effort put into this place! They have a substantial craft beer list, the top ones for me were the pina colada and the deeamsicle, but my friends had many others they enjoyed too. There are beers for sale to take home, and lots of merch and swag. They serve pizza if you want to nosh on something with your beer. We got a Reuben pizza to split and it was great! She could see how scared my 8 year old nephew was and whisked him away and introduced him to her dog Jake. He was quickly put at ease and after about an hour, the tornado had changed paths and it was safe to leave. I'm really not one to write reviews of places I haven't been, but I was really touched by this story and the kindness of the owner and I feel it's something that should be commended. There's a bar in the middle surrounded by plenty of tables. Beers are the main thing of course. It's about $7 a pint. Best one we had of these was the Coldstream Lager. This is a full bodied Bavarian style. A lot of the food is meaty. Brisket and that kind of stuff. Among the appetizers is the Cowboy Caviar. One of the few vegetarian options. This is a mixture of beans, cilantro, corn, jalapeños, red onions, and tomatoes. It's about $16 for the Tex-Mex Bowl. This has avocado, cilantro rice, Cowboy Caviar, marinated cucumbers, pico de gallo, and Thai sauce. Of course an option is to get it with meats added. There's plenty more things including burgers and pork belly tacos among the livestock based foods. For around here it's one of the better places for big crowds. The bacon to burger ratio was exactly the same. All I could taste was bacon. I couldn't tell if the BBQ was any good or not because I was having a bacon coronary. I'll return sometime though to try their breakfast. I hear tell it's tasty, and though I don't cotton to the high prices it's hard finding any quality food for good prices.
