He came over made the assessment and placed and set traps with a camera so they knew when they captured the squirrels. After catching 2 squirrels and putting stronger wire over the entry point. Then placed another trap just in case there might have been another way in. But no more issues with the squirrels. I hope I don't have any more wildlife or other pests but if I do, I would definitely go back with Pestify. And you cannot miss their truck!

After seeing evidence of a rat, and meeting the large guy in my basement, I tried to resolve the…read moreissue myself. I found a crack in a roof drain pipe near the main sewer outlet to the street. Sealed the likely entrance, built trap boxes ( YouTube... ) and used various baits. Rats are extremely smart and fast. He'd get the food but not caught. After a a few weeks I gave in and searched for an exterinator. The reviews about Joe prompted me to get in touch. The reviews describe him perfectly ! He came the next day. We spent almost 2 hours going around the house inspecting for evidence of entry points, nests, activity as well as getting to know each other. He is truly a nice guy who knows his craft ! Joe seemed impressed by my approach. Thought, based on what he saw, that there might only be the one and didn't see any obvious additional enrty points. He suggested a few new baits and traps and we decided to stay in touch before moving to poison. He refused payment for his time and advice. He promptly replied to my status texts over the next few days. Nobody caught, no success... until I got him ! Sent Joe pictures. Recieved a congratulations reply ! Now going to keep monitoring for a few weeks, traps set. Maybe my problem is solved. Fingers crossed my visitor didn't have friends and family. Go for the contract, they come whenever you need to get rid of pests which is frequent here, all for one price. They're also mindful of pets and kids who may use the areas. They give you good information about what they're putting down and how long it takes to work or when you can use the area etc. Family business and they care about their customers.

I have no idea who that third party would be and I would have to pay this company for the service. Based on what they say in their inspection report they will let me know if they want to take my job. No same day service. No direct service promised even after I pay them just under $200 to send a third party. Felt like they just don't want this business yet they will take the money and possibly decline my job. Poor service all at my expense with no promises. Stay away!!!!! Here is my original review......Called Terminix when I discovered that a group of birds had taken…read moreup residence in the soffit of my roof. The agent who came for the estimate was helpful but that's where the customer service ended. Had to wait 10 days for an appointment, due to a vacation, but I never heard from the trapper and, on the scheduled day, no one showed. I received a call at 5 PM telling me they had underestimated a job they were on. He agreed to reschedule for 3 days later at 10. The time came and went and still no show. This time I reached out to him asking where he was and once again I got the "unexpected " answer. There can only be two reasons for never being on time. Either they're not very good at their jobs or they over-schedule to make as much money as possible with no regard to the customer's time. The job was finally done a week later only after I insisted on getting the first time of the day, thereby eliminating the "underestimated " excuse. By that time, the birds had long abandoned their nest and the job became a much easier one. Since there was no longer an issue of removal, just cleanup and rebuild, I thought they would lower the exorbitant cost. Silly me. The bill posted today. So I waited a month to pay full price for half a job. UPDATE - The Terminix Corporate social media folks responded to my post and assured me that my concerns would be sent on to the office that did the original work. After hearing nothing from the Ronkonkoma office, I tried calling and was told that the manager had received my info and would call me. Still nothing! So here's my takeaway - avoid the Ronkonkoma Terminix office at all costs unless you don't care about cancelled appointments, no communication and rigid pricing. Now we can add a manager - Andrew Steinberg - who ignores customer concerns. I give up! UPDATE AS OF SEPTEMBER 6 - I'm happy to report that the issue has been resolved. Andrew Steinberg, manager of the Ronkonkoma office, reached out and was extremely helpful. Not only did he deal with the problem of the technicians who did not communicate or show up on time, he offered a 25% rebate to make up for the delays and inconvenience. I am extremely pleased not just with the rebate, but also with the support I received from him in our conversation.
