Woody's did a great job six months ago ridding my house of a major mouse infestation. The mice were in the walls and the ceiling of the basement and had begun to come up into the house. That's how I discovered that I had a problem! Woody's came and took care of it. Since then, I have not seen ( or heard) a mouse, and I have a cat who alerted me to the problem in the first place, so I would know right away. Woody's put bait boxes outside the house and traps in the basement, and every three months an extremely polite and helpful young man comes and checks them for any problems. My husband recently had a knee replacement and was walking with his cane on the side of the house when he was attacked by bees causing him to fall to the ground. Owner operated! Ryan shows up on time, gives you a fair estimate, and once hired completes the job around your schedule. He is honest, pleasant, knowledgeable, and explains all the different options to treat your problem. Every winter we have mice come into our house and we set our own traps. We don't leave any food out, but after the first chill, they come in anyway. Year after year of dealing with this annoying problem, I decided to call an exterminator. I received the business card for Woodys Exterminating at my local True Value Hardware store. I set up an appointment and Ryan came with another tech. They inspected my house and said the kitchen and the basement were the hot spots. But, I was happy to hear there were no surprises. After discussing different options I was confident they were the right people to help me. A few days later, they came into my kitchen and carefully slid out my appliances. They thoroughly cleaned and sealed up any holes in the walls (they took before and after photos). They used poison gel (inside the holes). He used all of his own cleaning materials and vacuum. I'm a clean freak and would never have known they were there. Next, the tech went down to our sub basement and put poison around the perimeter *we do not use the basement. Lastly, he put 7 bait stations around the perimeter of the outside of the house and sealed up my dryer vent in the laundry room. After Ryan showed me all his photos and we discussed everything he made one final suggestion to me. We have wooden storm doors going down into the sub basement and they are pretty beat up. 30 years old. A big hole and cracks. Ryan suggested we get proper Bilco doors sealed in cement to help keep things sealed up. So, my husband measured and ordered one at Home Depot, and someone is installing it next week. Not cheap, but I think I'll be happy to keep the critters out, not to mention bugs...potential flooding etc... *Ryan does give you a 3 month warranty as well. I was very satisfied with Woodys service. I highly recommend them and will use again in the future. read more
