I took Einstein to Fancy Pants today for his first grooming appointment and all I asked them to do was shampoo blow dry, clip the hairs from his butt so his poop wouldn't stick to his hair and clean around his eyes. I specifically said do not cut his hair down because the kids love it when he runs in his hair flops in the wind. When I arrived all of his hair was cut off. I expressed my disappointment and requested a refund just then all their customer service went downhill from there. They refused to refund me and accuse me of being a bad Pet owner. One lady said it's just a dog his hair will grow back. Another lady told me I should brush him and take better care of him. The cashier said I should groom him myself ...Wow! I would've never expected to be treated like this, all because of an $80 refund. They could have offered a partial refund or discount on future services instead they Insulted me one by one as they stood behind the counter and laughed. Einstein was a beautifully full haired Maltese very well kept and today he became what they wanted him to be versus what I paid for. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!

As with most of you who own multiple dogs, I winced at what I knew was under all that snow. Glancing over the low-lying area, I also saw a couple of inches of water. Man, it was gonna be ugly. Then I got to thinking, you know? I work hard, have a lot going on and I just do NOT have time for this! I love my pets and it's not like I'm adverse to clean up work but this was going to take a LONG TIME. Seems to me I could hire someone to do this for me at a fair price. Turns out, I was right. Did a quick google search and wisconsinpoopcleanup.com was #1 on the list. The website was colorful, informative and well-designed. Clicked on the 'Contact Us' link, entered my info and mere minutes later I received a reply. Lori Mendelsohn Thomas (no relation) immediately addressed my request for information via email. We worked out details over the next 24 hours continuing our email dialog and less than 48 hours after I first googled the website, our yard was cleaned, waste carefully bagged and placed exactly as instructed. You just don't see that kind of turn-around time these days. Very awesome. Freddy was our 'Scooper' guy. Lori said that Freddy didn't usually travel as far West as Union Grove as UG is out of their designated boundary. But she also said she'd ask him if he was willing. This to me means that she respects her staff enough to give them the option. That says a lot. Freddy agreed to make the trip. I cannot express what a relief it was to come home to a clean yard. I won't get into details about what our dogs were trailing into the house but suffice it to say - it was well worth the price to stop that, well, dead in its tracks as it were. Freddy did an excellent job. Period. I cannot imaging doing this for a living, but obviously Freddy has a professionalism to his work ethic and I bet Lori is glad he's on her team. I never met you Freddy, but you ROCK. About the price. I don't know how long it took Freddy to do what he did, but somehow Lori has managed to make fair what she charges for a job well done and everyone is satisfied. I don't know what the going rate is supposed to be, and quite frankly I don't care. I'm very, very pleased with Lori, our 'Scooper' Freddy and have no desire to vacillate from a successfully rendered service. By the way? Don't be a pooper leave a tip for your 'Scooper'. So, 5 stars! For - Excellent customer service - Outstanding turn-around-time - Fair pricing for job well done - Follow up inquiry to ensure satisfaction - It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it!
