Fancy Pants is amazing! I brought my Goldendoodle there for the second time today and was so happy with the over-the-top service. I was at work all day and had arranged for someone to pick up my dog. Unforeseen circumstances happened and I found out that my pup wasn't picked up. I spoke with the owner via text and she was completely understanding and offered to keep my dog there with her until I got off work! I couldn't get there until 5PM and keep in mind, the shop closes at 4PM. She even offered to walk her since she'd been there all day! When I FINALLY came to the shop, she was so amazing as I apologized profusely. I went to pay and then my card was having issues. Go figure. She instead just sent me an invoice to my email and was so happy to help. To top it all off, my pup looked ADORABLE! I've never written a yelp review before, but this experience warranted a post! I highly recommend Fancy Pants Pet Salon for all your canine needs!

Ok, my dog hates baths... he acts as if I'm washing him in acid. I have to have someone sit on him and try to cut his nails. Not at Fancy Pants! He walks right in like he owns the place. He LOVES Erin!! He acts like a perfect angel for her. Makes me look like a lier. I don't know what the pump in the air over there, but I need some! lol Seriously, Erin is wonder. I can't see taking Hootie anywhere else. I do think there is some wizardry going on, but who cares!

She was happy and wagging her tail and looked absolutely beautiful after her appointment. They sell a variety of Fromm dog food and offer samples to try. The place is set up very cute and comfortable. Any dog will love getting groomed here. A few of my neighbors bring their pets here and decided to give them a try. I have now found Belle's new groomers!

Fancy Pants Pet Salon 0 my heart is broken...disgusting Racist people!!!! I took Einstein to Fancy Pants today for his first grooming appointment and all I asked them to do was shampoo blow dry, clip the hairs from his butt so his poop wouldn't stick to his hair and clean around his eyes. I specifically said do not cut his hair down because the kids love it when he runs in his hair flops in the wind. When I arrived all of his hair was cut off. I expressed my disappointment and requested a refund just then all their customer service went downhill from there. They refused to refund me and accuse me of being a bad Pet owner. One lady said it's just a dog his hair will grow back. Another lady told me I should brush him and take better care of him. The cashier said I should groom him myself ...Wow! I would've never expected to be treated like this, all because of an $80 refund. They could have offered a partial refund or discount on future services instead they Insulted me one by one as they stood behind the counter and laughed. Einstein was a beautifully full haired Maltese very well kept and today he became what they wanted him to be versus what I paid for. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! read more

We've been taking our 2 little pups there for the past 5 years and although our regular groomer recently left they still did a great job. I love the seasonal bandanas that the dogs leave with and would definitely recommend bringing your dogs to Fancy Pants. read more

I have been bringing my cat in for monthly nail trims. Normally I have had only good interactions with staff. However, on my last visit the owner remarked how she always has to work on cats and she's allergic to them. She mentioned it several times, leaving me to wonder if I need to find a new groomer. I'm wondering why they even offer services for cats if the owner is allergic. Quite frankly I left the salon feeling that my patronage was not important to this owner. read more

These folks took such great care of my boy. Pit bulls aren't always welcomed with open arms at groomers. Not only was he accepted, but he was welcomed with open arms. They asked about allergies and other issues. They used a moisturizing shampoo and he's still so soft and smells incredible. Not to mention this place is crazy affordable. $55 with tip. Can't beat it. Thank you to fancy pants. I'll be back as often as I can. read more

Erin is amazing! My friend told me about Fancy Pants & I decided to try it for my 3 pups. I was able to get in the same day I called f ok Rd nail trims-all 3! Erin was so sweet, kind and professional. Our dogs range in size from medium (40lbs) to teeny (4lbs) and she took great care with each of them. Her calm and poise while working with my nervous dogs put me at ease and made them behave a bit better than I expected. Well definitely be back. Today was the first time my dog was able to successfully have his nails trimmed without needing to be muzzled! All other groomers immediately muzzled him and he would thrash and yelp the entire time, sometimes they would have me come back to try to hold him down. The ladies at Fancy Pants were able to successfully dremel his nails down, without a muzzle on, and instead giving him treats the whole time to make it a positive experience for him. It was quick, reasonably priced, and a positive reinforcement experience for my pup! Will definitely be taking my dogs here for all future nail trimmings! read more

These ladies are amazing!!! I have a miniature schnauzer that absolutely hated grooming, until I tried Fancy Pants. I have had groomers tell me he needed to be sedated for grooming "for his own safety"-not here!!!! They are definitely the best in town and I would recommend them to anybody!!! read more

I can't say enough good things about the groomers here! I own a Standard Poodle Service Dog who must be in top shape at all times, they have always gone above and beyond to make sure that my pup is perfectly cut, but also squeezed us in if he got into the mud and wasn't presentable for public access (which is very important). Our dog always happily goes to ANY of the groomers but seems to have bonded with Erin, the owner. These ladies are ALL dog whisperers and excellent poodle groomers. I've NEVER been unhappy with anything they've done and their prices are MORE than fair. They are conveniently located in East Wauwatosa with an adorable storefront. No parking lot, so practice your parallel parking or be prepared to walk a half block to the side street for MUCH easier parking. Don't park in the printer's lot, they don't like that. :) Extra bonus? Lots to do in the area while waiting for your pup to be groomed! read more

Second time my dog has been groomed at Fancy Pants, and he has left looking handsome, tailored and happy both times. The owner and staff are friendly, knowledgeable and adore dogs. Not having to specifically explain every detail of how to groom my dog is nice; their experience and familiarity with different dog breeds is reassuring. Their time estimates are also spot on. This is a nice enough facility, but you do NOT get your money's worth…read more I brought in my sheepdog who has unique more wirey hair, but doesn't shed enough to take care of herself; she needs grooming about twice a year to clean her up. I brought her in and told them I wanted her to get a complete summer cut. I specified trimming up her face so she could see (long beard and eyebrows), shaving down her privates, thinning out her entire coat, and trimming her belly/legs/chest. I also specifically said NOT to tear out her ear hairs, to trim them instead. It took four hours, and when I picked her up I could see her face! I loved seeing her feet all shaped nicely and her nails trimmed, so I paid the $100 and took her home. When I got home and was able to look at her, I realized that her face and feet were the only thing that they listened to me on. There was dried blood in her ears showing they absolutely did rip out her hair against my direction. Yes her butt was shaved, and her face was trimmed, but the rest of her was quite literally untouched. I had to wing it in my backyard with household scissors just to get her hair down to a reasonable length. I will NOT be returning, this amount of work was worth $40 at most.

She read us all the information on our picks and led us to the room where we met our cat. We instantly fell in love and decided on him. The entire process took about a hour. We were very happy with the service and ease of adoption. The only thing we didn't like was when we met our cat the area was very uncomfortable. It was an empty office.
