I was so mad after the second visit, I emailed and told them to cancel my services at the end of the month and not charge me again. 5 days later, no response. BTW, they tell you it's $12.50 x 2 visits a week and then prorate this and that in. I had a $20 coupon and still paid $152 for the first month and they have no showed on me once, did a terrible job the other two times. I can pay my kids alot less than that and hold them accountable if they miss any. These guys are unreliable and unprofessional. Do not use them!!!

All of the service guys that came to clean up the yard were professional, and did an excellent job cleaning up. However any time I had to deal with billing/customer service was where the issues were. First of all, whenever you need to speak with billing you have to leave a message with customer service and wait for a call back, if you miss it then too bad because if you try to call them from the number they called you on it won't work. Secondly, I never received any of my billing statements, and low and behold I have a balance due because my card was compromised and the number was changed by the bank. Well I received a call from the customer service and I understood that I needed to make the payments. Now I confirmed 3 different times the amount and was told 48.57. I gave a new card and gave the authorization to charge that amount, well what was charged was over 5 times that amount. So I called back and was told that I had to wait for billing to call me. Well they did the next day and basically was like there was nothing they could do because I owed that amount. I was not disputing that I owed it or not, but the issue is you can't tell people you will charge one amount and then do something different. I would have been more that happy to work out paying the balance, halting service until it was paid, whatever, but what I didn't appreciate was being lied to about the amount they would charge then charge something different then told "Oh well"... So after a few phone calls back and forth, I finally receive a call from a Michelle. She actually left me a voicemail that I still have which states that I would be credited the difference from what was charged to what was told would be charged and that accounting would send me an invoice for what the balance is. Needless to say, I never heard from Michelle again and I never received the credit or the invoice. I filed a complaint with BBB but of course the DFW franchise is not registered with them only the VA offices. I would never, and I do mean never, refer anyone to use DoodyCalls just based on the drama and lack of professionalism when it comes to dealing with the customer service, or lack there of.

In February 2025, we noticed we were still being billed even though no pick-up services were being provided. It turns out the pooper scooper was reporting visits that never actually happened. After we caught it, they offered three free months of service to make up for it. Then in September, more unexplained billing changes occurred. At that point, we decided to cancel because we no longer trusted the accuracy of their charges. Magic Unicorn told us they would issue a refund -- but they never did. Since then, they've stopped responding to emails and won't answer the phone. Easily the worst experience I've ever had with a service provider. Completely unprofessional and dishonest.
