We would pick her up and she was a "hyper-fit" but soon settled back into our home routine after reassurance, a shower and much brushing. We picked her up yesterday and she was so glad. She was also shining clean and had been brushed out , toenails trimmed (really well). She was less stressed, even when coming home into the house. She was glad to be home as always but way more comfortable with being gone. We had a repair man stop by today, and for the first time ever, she didn't run out barking and trying to scare him off, she was watchfull, but not threatening . Not sure how you managed this, but whoever is working there now , THANK YOU, for taking such good care of her and helping with her training. Kerry Dougherty & Dick Dyer

He was on all 4 legs when I took him in. The pressure from the big dogs or the jumping around badly hurt his leg and now he is on 3 legs. I think I have to start all over again and get him to the surgeon he saw this spring. I cannot put my finger on it, but I suspect the staff has not had training or they lack questioning skills when a new dog is presented. Like a doc's office: is the dog on any medication? has the dog had surgery recently? is the dog allergic to cleaning solutions? Just basic inquiries might have helped determine the small dog should not go with the big dogs.

NEVER AGAIN!!! Don't walk, RUN AWAY!!- This place used to…read morebe OK when he had employees years ago (Sean was very attentive and cared very much about the dogs). But that's not the case anymore. I would NEVER bring my dog here again. The owner Tony actually admitted to me at pickup "your dog must have an iron stomach" (I confusingly said no) and he admitted that he allowed my dog to EAT AND CLEAN UP ALL THE KIBBLE FROM THE DOG CRATES AT THE END OF THE DAY!!! mind you I never had Tony feed my dog at any daycare visit. She never ate during playcare. And my dog became aggressively sick in the middle of that night, due to Tony's RIDICULOUS manner, and lack of any responsibility for an animal. If you care about your dog, do NOT trust this place. I should've write this review a while ago. After I confronted him and left he continued to be rude to me in email, stating my dog was a mess and out of control. (Well I bring her to daycare to play, he never stated any such issues. And then started attacking me and saying how terrible of a person I was and how we didn't "click" as people. Wow, I just wanted a nice place for my dog to play. This guy is a FUCKING IDIOT.

A few years back, during a heat wave, Heidi actually bought out the local WalMart of kiddie pools for the dogs! The dogs get indoor playtime in the gym. They get outdoor playtime, too. Heidi believes a tired-from-play dog is quieter and less anxious. How right she is. It is rare that we hear repetitive or deafening barking at this kennel. At other places ,the workers often don ear protection before going back to the cages. Their groomer recently gave our 2 dogs the best clips they've ever had. It's saying something when our dogs literally leap out of the back of my car and RUN into the kennel. (We used to have to drag them into Acadia Woods Kennel....that should have been a sign :-( ) Rather than having an adjustment period when our dogs return home, they are settled and normal: it's like they never left.

Two week $896 dollars!!!!! I was already renting the cage, so I was charged for two large cages for two weeks. I called twice to talk to the owner, who was not there when I picked them up. No response, all you can leave is a message, and THEY DO NOT RETURN YOUR CALL! I feel this is bad business. BEWARE of their sneaky price gouging and not being up front with pricing. I will be spreading this news to all my friends with fur babies! Buyer Beware of these unrealistic prices!

Moki is 11 now and suffers from arthritis, but still loves to be super active and get out and play. I was away out of town for one long weekend with my boyfriend and we asked Brandy to take Moki for a hilly hike and I couldn't have asked for better care. Brandy was meticulous making sure she had all of Moki's essentials before they left. She put together a little care package with water, snacks, poop bags, leash and of course Moki's favorite ball. Brandy was also very careful about what type of meds Moki might need in case she was sore when she came back and we discussed Moki's favorite way to take her meds too. You could really tell Brandy had lots of prior experience as a Vet Tech the way she was so systematic about it all. However, the special bond Brandy formed with my dog after only meeting her for such a short while before we had to leave and go out of town was really the most impressive thing of all. Brandy really loves animals and she has a special way about her that makes them respond very positively to her too. I couldn't believe how attached Moki was to Brandy when we got back and also how good Moki looked with no limping or soreness even though they had gone for a pretty long hard hike together, as per my request. Brandy said that she had even given Moki a little mini doggy massage on her back legs, which was wonderful. Moki seemed so happy that she had gotten to get out still even though Mom and Dad had to go away for the weekend. Brandy provided exactly the type of service I am looking for in a pet sitter. I wouldn't want to give anything less to our family's fuzzy best friend.
