My Hunny absolutely loves Hennie! She will not let anybody but her groom her. Hennie is so sweet and I absolutely love her staff! If I could give her 10 STARS I WOULD

I have brought my English bulldog here many times. She has a club foot which I have pointed out every time I have brought her in to be groomed. The poor baby literally has a toe in between her toes. I told the owner, Henny, to be careful with it and she even replied,"oh I know!" When I got home I realized her foot was bleeding! And not just a little but a lot. So I called Henny and let her know she sent my dog home with a bloody foot. She acted like she had no idea what I was talking about and asked me to send her a picture. So after I sent the picture she *magically* remembered that her toe nail fell off before the bath... she told me not to worry and that my dog would be okay. I wasn't born yesterday lady. You or someone on your staff cut my dog's deformed toe off after I told you she had special needs and to pay attention to it. I understand accidents happen but how do you send her home looking like that? Most professional groomers would put something on it to stop the bleeding and clean her up BEFORE I pick her up. It's been a few months and unfortunately I just noticed her toe is oozing. So off to the vet we go! Also it's worth noting that when I called Henny, she didn't once offer an apology. She actually had the audacity to say I brought my dog in like that.

This place is absolutely amazing! My dog has never looked better, as she is a Siberian, husky and grooming is vital to keeping her healthy and looking well. The people there are literally the best and really put there heart and soul into taking care and grooming any type of animal that comes in there! read more

I take my dog here and they do a good job for a reasonable price. Be advised, it is basically a one woman operation and they have canceled on me twice which was inconvenient. read more

I have taken my dogs here multiple times over the years and they do a good job. However, it has happened to me twice that I make an appointment weeks in advance to show up on appointment day to them being closed with no notice. I will no longer be using Pet Perfection as I have to make accommodations with my work schedule to make these appointments to only receive no heads up for being randomly closed. read more

My little yorkie always came back sad I could not figure it out. I went one day early to pick them up the owner was gone and They locked my little yorkie in the broom closet. The older lady that works there said u didn't know this? I'm like of course freaking not She said yeah she cries so she locked her in the closet. Pretty disappointed with this place. 1. They never asked for his shot records when we got there 2. It was pretty unsanitary, they don't clean after they're done with other dogs and cut your dogs hair around the other dogs left over cut hair, so I'll be really mad if my dog gets fleas. 3 they don't let you stay and watch so I had to peak my head in the window to see how he was doing in there a few times and it from the only thing I could see they were brushing him pretty roughly. He was shaking the whole time he was there. 4 I had shown them a picture of what I wanted and he didn't look anything like the pictures I showed. The picture on top is what my dog used to look like before I brought him here, and the bottom one is after, wasn't too happy with the results.. Won't take him here again /: read more

I'm new to the area, and am delighted to have found this place to keep my Service Dog looking her best. They are very busy, which was a good sign to me. I made a appointment to bring my dog in to be groomed. The first time I showed up they didn't write down my appointment. I understand that things happen so I decided to give them another chance. I show up to my second appointment and another dog was being aggressive. They asked me to come back later. My dog did not start it so they should have asked the other person to come back. I even explained what happened before and informed them I took time off work twice to come in and they didn't even apologize. read more

We take our Yorkie here. She does a great job not only with grooming but we were very impressed with how she handles the dogs that are in her care. Our Yorkie has health issues and she was extremely gentle and loving to our Yorkie. He loved being with her! She has earned our business for life. We are taking our other dog to her next and have already referred her to a family member who also has fallen in love with her work! Thanks!!! read more

We absolutely love taking our dog to Pet Perfection!! She always tries to make sure to fit our hectic schedule. She is great at finding fleas and getting them all off our dog when she has some. She always follows our requests on how we would like our little dog to look and our baby always comes home looking adorable, soft and fresh. The prices of this place are amazing. My friends are surprised whenever I react at finding how much they pay and I try to let them know the awesome prices at Pet Perfection!!! read more

I have been taking my large German Shepherd here for years. While it does take a couple of weeks to get an appointment (sign of a good groomer). This is easily fixed by planning ahead and booking the appointment earlier. She has always did an excellent job of keeping my dog out of a cage by grooming my shepherd in a timely manner while I have lunch or do a little shopping in Oakdale. LOVE the way she and her staff treats my pets. GREAT SERVICE, GREAT VALUE!!!! read more

Very upset asked for flea dip and she did not do so so i have a flea infestation. My son is eaten up by fleas and she will not get my dog in immediately and was very rude in doing so. If you would have done what was asked we would not have this problem. She grooms 2 of my large dogs 2 times a year she will be losing 400 that's for damn sure. read more

Been taking my dog here for years. Always the best price and personal service. The owner is very loving to the animals that come in and very professional with the customers. I wish they were open on the weekend but she tries to work with you in regards to dropping off and picking up times. read more

Best groomer ever. She's been in business for over 20 years and I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else. She not only does top notch grooming but she handles each pet with love as if they were her own. Plus who could beat those prices! I would recommend Pet Perfection to anyone! read more

Took our dog in at 9:00 am for grooming, bath and nail trimming. Didn't get a call until 2:00 pm that they were done...5 hours! Then, when we picked him up, they didn't trim his nails!! Absolutely ridiculous lack of service! read more

Unreliable business! Between my mom & myself, we have had this establishment cancel on us 3 times. Let me rephrase that- they didn't call us to cancel, WE SHOWED UP WITH OUR DOGS & THEY WERE CLOSED. Most recently last Friday. The center where this shop is located has had a lot of construction going on in & around it & yet the owner STILL booked an appointment for my mom's dog on Friday knowing that she would be closed because the entire parking lot & sidewalk in front of her door was ripped up- there was literally about a 3 ft wide ditch between the parking lot asphalt & the sidewalk in front of her door. Placing a note on the door & not taking your book to contact clients of your closure is inexcusable, especially since I'm pretty sure PG & E would've notified all of the businesses in the center of the work/ construction so they could conduct business & plan accordingly. Not to mention the last time that my mom took her Lhasa Apso there, they practically shaved her- that's how short they cut her. My mom was not the least bit pleased, however she thought she would give her a second chance. Needless to say that neither my mom or myself will be taking our dogs back there. If you are okay with inconsistency & unreliability, then this place is for you. read more

I took my yorkie to get groomed here and I must say they do not groom dogs to customers orders. I asked to have my yorkies haircut a certain way and they did total opposite. Didn't do what I asked to have done to my yorkie. Overall I was disapoonment with this place. I'm sticking with petco.... read more

pet perfection is the best, henney and her assistants do superb grooming and care of the dogs. her prices are fair. if you own a dog with hair, especially a bichon or poodle or yorkie or a malteses or lhasa, you can't find a better groomer at a reasonable price that takes excellent care of your pet. the only thing bad about pet perfection is that they are not open on weekends. henney has 4 girls at home along with a husband. the weekends are for family, oakdale is lucky to have pet perfection. read more

I had the distinct good fortune to be directed to this establishment. I popped in, a couple of weeks ago, to make an appointment for Cassie and Lola (my 2 pups) - the staff were extremely friendly, and their appointment book was extremely full... I elected to wait the 2 weeks, and made an appointment. I took them in at about 8.30, this morning... again, I was impressed at the openness and friendliness of the staff. They said that I should expect a call at about 2, so imagine my surprise when I got a call just before noon, telling me they were ready to come home. When I picked them up, Hennie pointed out a small abrasion on Lola's face (result of a minor skirmish with another dog), plus a small issue with Cassie - this shows that they cared enough to notify me, instead of perhaps just hoping that I was already aware. How refreshing to find folks that care! If there were 10 stars, I would've given them all ten! read more

I brought my cat Tonik to Hennie at Pet Perfection, and I can't thank her enough. Tonik was very matted--honestly, I was embarrassed by how bad it had gotten. But Hennie was incredibly patient and kind. She worked tirelessly to get every mat out, even when it seemed like it might not be possible without sedation. Through it all, she stayed calm, gently talking to Tonik and keeping her as relaxed as possible. I was so impressed by her care, dedication, and compassion. What nice people! I have a big dog who HATES to have her nails trimmed. It is always a major hassle. I was having the groomer at my vet's office trim her nails but she barely took anything off and I ended up having to go every month. The groomer at Pet Perfection really took her time and gave my dog a great trim. She clipped and sanded them down to a respectable level. Not only was the trim better, but they cost less as well. And again, I want to repeat how nice as well as quick & efficient they are here. read more
