He encourages team members there with his enthusiasm for the business. He and others are knowledgable about their products. They offer adoptions of cats there. Pet Supplies Plus hosted goat-yoga at least once - I couldnt go but I hope if they do it again that I can! I love that place. The only thing I didnt care for - the self serve pet wash- was very clean and inviting and I used it several times- but the water is too cool and the dryers also are cold-air dryers. Im sure this is a liability-things but after taking a room temperature bath- cool air left my small dog shivering. My big dogs were fine with it. Im not sure there is much they can do about cool/cold wash/dry experience. But the store itself is very clean. Staff is knowledgable. They seem to host and encourage public help- like doing food drives for the community pet-pantry and suggesting adoptions. I know they also were one of the sponsors of a vaccination day held at the local shelter. So- I do feel pretty good supporting a chain store- because if their wonderful staff and community outreach.

All of their goodies are displayed in what would have been the different rooms of the old house. I found it to be very spacious and easy to navigate. The hardwood floors, cheerfully painted walls and big windows added to the sweet charm this business offers. I loved all the cute toys and accessories. They had so many different healthy treat choices too. I ended up purchasing my Grand dog treats that look like cowboy hats and a stuffed toy that looks like a camera. She loved them!! The man working was so friendly and helpful. He assisted us with knowledge and professionalism. I appreciated all of his help. The personal service is a great touch, they have good memories of their customers, and they have been very helpful with us while we tend to our kitty's IBD. She proceeded to come up to me and tell me how she "wants to be informed" but then was very rude to me and basically told me I was wrong. It was a private conversation with my boyfriend, as I have guinea pigs so it made me sad seeing their lack of hay, plastic hides, no companion and no toys. It was highly inappropriate.

There are up to 6 dogs and groomers in a small room all at one time. There was hair all over the floor that they put my 6 lb puppy in when she was done that could have had fleas or other parasites. They barely trimmed her face. They did a great job trimming her body and paws and her body smelt good and her hair was so soft. But her head smelt as if it was not washed at all and her nails had not been trimmed. When I pointed this out, they said they could use the Dremel, but it would be loud. I said please do it. They still were super long and made the clacking noise when she walks. I now have to pay double because I have to get another groomer to fix what was not done. The people were very nice, just not trained well.

There used to be one guy here who did a great job and he hasn't been around now for maybe a year. This was a second chance for this remaining crew because their first attempt was laughable. Literally. Our poor little guy looked hilarious but we thought "Hair grows out right?" So we gave them another chance. Two chances were plenty. Never going here again. My little guy has a LOT of hair. I made sure his top and most of his sides were knot-free so they could keep some good length on him. I showed them a picture of what I wanted, a simple puppy cut about 1" long everywhere. They listened attentively and even took the picture for reference and then apparently DECIDED A BUZZ CUT WAS BETTER FOR MY POOR LITTLE DOG. I want to stress that I have brought him in more tangled and with more knots than I did yesterday and the gentleman who obviously does not work there anymore did a wonderful job.
