If I can leave negative stars I would... They didn't have my Husky's dog food so I had to settle for something similar. I have a big dog, so I come here often, and always buy the biggest packets of food. There was even dog poop on the aisle. I have been a member since 2004 and lately this store always disappoints. I noticed a lot of employee turnover since there is always a new face greeting me. I hope Corporate reads this (there ship is sinking) because as a business owner myself; this is symptoms of a bad manager. So how many good employees must vanish before proper adjustments? read more

WORST ANIMAL CONDITIONS EVER!!! Turtle was in the worst habitat ever, no ledge to come up to dry to avoid shell rot, no water heater to keep them warm, no heat bulb to bask on, FULL of dead feeders with extremely high ammonia and nitrite.. fish tanks full of algae, reptiles with wrong temperatures and humidity levels, bird water dish right under the perch so the bowl was full of dissolved feces, just horrible and cruel... I asked the employee and his response was "we just got the animals yesterday" that answer has nothing to do with the animals habitat state.. they should close shop, or get new employees, cause they all messing up! They need to hire more responsible employees, people that care, I left the store crying over how bad these animals are, someone should do something about this read more

I stopped in a couple days ago to check out the Bettas. The males were kept in jars, which is slightly better than the cups Petco keeps theirs in. I went searching for female Bettas and I couldn't believe the condition they were in. They had a group of 4 or 5 female Bettas in a tank with ghost knife fish and pea puffers. Every single one had nipped fins. How do they not know that you can't keep pea puffers in the same tank with Bettas?? If that wasn't bad enough, the flow in the tank was so strong that even the knife fish couldn't resist it and were being tossed around the tank. One had already died, which no one in the store cared to notice. The 3 employees were too busy in the front talking about how cute someone's dog was. All the fish tanks were in terrible condition; full of black beard algae and dead fish in most tanks. Every time I come here the experience is worse than the previous visit. This was my last attempt at giving them a chance. I honestly don't know how they stay open. read more

I went there this Friday 8/30/24, and was treated with sarcasm and disrespect by the tall guy with the accent who works in the fish area, after I brought in some fish to exchange that where alive; not even dead. He really should not be talking to people if he is that spiteful of a person. I have never seen this amount of neglect in a store (fish area). The cages smell before getting there, and it was really dirty overall. The first fish tank had LITERALLY 12 dead fish for the last two days since last I went, and they could care less. read more

I love this location. Meet the new staff: Gabriel, Melany and the store manager, Kimberly are always so helpful, professional and welcoming. The store is clean and stocked up with just about anything you need for your furry loved ones. And if you find it cheaper elsewhere, they do price match! I highly recommend it. read more

Had a very unpleasant experience today during my pick up order. As soon as I arrived to the store they informed me the system was down and when I told them what I had ordered they said the dog food was unavailable. I asked how was my order going to be fulfilled and they said "you have to cancel it since it's not in stock" online it did say it was in stock. I had received a 15% off since it was my first online order and I asked the two girls in the front about that and they said "we can't honor that" so on top of customer service being horrible, they couldn't even honor the 15% I had received. The manager did nothing to solve my issue. I ended up driving to another pet supermarket where I obviously did not receive the 15% off because it wasn't an online order and I lost my 15% off! The staff is horrible at this location and the place is filthy. The ferret cage was stacked with poop. Will never step foot in this location again and the staff including manager could use a course on how to deal with customers. Pet Supermarket has always been my go to location for my dogs food and this experience has just been beyond unpleasant with how rude the staff was. read more

I have only been there to buy fish and every time I buy one from there it dies within two days. I brought a fish two days ago and on my way home (10 minutes from my house) it died inside the bag. It has nothing to do with my tank because my other fish which I have bought at other locations are very active and happy in their tank. I don't know what is the situation with these poor fish and it makes me very sad to have to see them like them like that. I for one will never purchase a fish in this location again and I am writing this review so no one experiences the same thing that I have. I really hope these fish start getting the proper treatment that they deserve. read more

Pet Supermarket or Petsmart? Which one do you go to? Kinda like Mickeydees or BK? I choose Pet Supermarket because its close and they have coupons in the Sunday paper. Otherwise, the service and selection is about the same. I have always found the people helpful here and they have only once not had what I needed (a replacement battery for a large dog bark collar because it is either that or kill the dog). But they quickly called the the SW 120 St location and had them put one aside for me. read more

I've been going here for years and always find what I need. Some of the staff have been there quite awhile and it's nice to go in and feel a friendly atmosphere and a little special when they remember who you are. They are willing to help take your big bags of food to your car as well with no hesitation. They always have little events here and there. Their most popular being Halloween! The only thing I would like is for it to just be a little bit bigger and do a Christmas event as well! They also have military appreciation discounts as well. They have plenty of coupons if you sign in to their free rewards program, and after 10 bags of food you get 1 free! read more

I hate giving bad reviews, but this place is in need of better trained personnel. I had things ready to pay, but no one was at the register. When I finally was able to get someone to come over, Daniela, the employee, began to breathe in frustration and make faces like I had inconvenienced her. I had to move all of my items onto the register where she was at and she didnt even bother to assist with grabbing at least one little bag. She was just rude when she told me my total price while she smiled at other customers walking in, like making a statement that she was ignoring me. Seriously? I just wanted to pay and I was never disrespectful. I will never, ever, walk into a Pet Supermarket again. read more
