I've been coming to this Pet Supermarket (57th Ave in Miami) for many years and I've always been greeted when I walk in and they are always willing to answer any questions I have due to the fact that I have 2 big fur babies with different needs and different situations and they are 2 different breeds. Eddie and Jazlyn helped me find everything I needed on this particular day and helped me as far as recommending certain things for my baby that has horrible allergies, I appreciate help with products especially if I know they work and Eddie gives the same thing to his dog and it has helped tremendously....so crossing my fingers it works, either way I will always come back and always get advice and get all my pets needs from here! Ever since we got Yogi are Tri-Color Beagle I've come to this Pet Supermarket for all my pet needs. It's right around the corner of my house in Miami Lakes, they have a very helpful staff and give me great recommendations on my pet needs. They have a large selection of name brand foods, toys and all pet products. Especially "Science Diet" which is what I give Yogi. They also have a large selection of organic products and medicine for specific pet. At times there a bit understaffed which leads to longer wait times. I can't blame the employees or shift manager that falls higher up the flag pool. All in all I've had very pleasant experiences every time I've visited this store. read more

I usually shop at the Pet Supermarket on Pines but I was not in my usual area. Checked phone maps and learned this one was about 6 miles away. Called before driving out to see if they had the auto pet feeder I was looking for. They placed me on hold. I started driving there. Needless to say, there was terrible traffic, it took me 20 minutes to get there and I was still on hold. No one ever came in the line to assist. I was tempted to ask for a manager when I arrived, but silly me, I thought 'be patient Annette, be nice, anyone can have a bad day.' Get in the store. Only one feeder to pick from and it's as high as it can get. I ask the young man at the store to tell me the price since it's not listed and I can't reach it to take it to the register myself. He can't. He needs the big ladder to grab the box to check for the price. I asked 'can you check your computer?', 'there's only one to pick from'. He tells me he needs the bar code. He starts bringing the ladder over but it doesn't fit in the aisle. Struggle, struggle, struggle!! I'm now feeling embarrassed he's going through all this to get me a price for something I might not buy and he's not looking very pleased himself. Yep, $70. for the feeder. I checked Amazon and it was $43., same brand, same size, exact one. If you're going to jack up the prices this badly, at least keep your customers coming with good service. Not here! read more

I've been coming here for a couple of years. They have everything I've needed for my beagle. I used to feed my beagle Eukanuba but after the last recall I now feed him Nutro Natural Choice, which has never been recalled and is made in the USA , thanks to a suggestion from a helpful Pet Supermarket employee. Nutro has been a great choice. They often have discounts and my dog has never been healthier. You can get more discounts every month by signing up for Pet Supermarket's VIP program. They also have adoption drives and discount vaccination programs. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. But the main reason why I shop at Pet Supermarket is because they support my local dog parks. read more

I stopped in to Pet Supermarket the other day because I've been trying to figure out how to stop a cat from doing a certain thing that nobody has been able to help with so far and I spoke with an employee whose name is Anthony. Anthony took the time to listen to the problem and made several suggestions, showing me several different products and even went so far as to read through the instructions so I could be certain the item I was buying would be safe for cats. Anthony is a cat lover and I could not have been happier with his help. Anthony is the kind of employee Pet Supermarket should be proud to have in their store. I tried to price match Med dog crate. When I approached The manager he started off by saying.... 1st of All with a rude Tone. It has to be the same brand. I asked him if Pet Supermarket is the only store that carries this brand because I cannot find it on line. He replied and said YES WE DO. And walked away while he was saying it to me. I said to him that is not a way you talk to people especially when you're the manager you need to set an example. I went to Walmart and bought the dog crate. read more
