The grooming technicians cut my dog's nail too short and they didn't tell me about it, I noticed that my dog was licking his foot then I saw he is bleeding. I called this store and explained. The person who answered was a cashier and she apologized. I thought it was over. I didn't ask them to call me back but later in the day, another person called me and she didn't apologize not even once but the whole time she said the my dog wasn't bleeding at the store and that had to happen after we left the store. I tried explaining to her but she kept on interrupting and she won't let me talk. She keeps saying that she watched the video and she saw that the technician did not do anything wrong and I was frustrated because she didn't want to hear anything I said. She said I am rude and she will hung up. I said I'm not cursing at you , you can't hung up on me, and I tried explaining and she hang up on me. I was not yelling or cursing not even once. Later on I took my dog back there to show them what happened, but she was there and she didn't even trying to listen to me at all but she kicked me out. I have been a customer of Pet Supplies Plus for the past four years, regularly bringing my dogs there and purchasing treats, food, and other supplies. Unfortunately, after what I recently witnessed, I am extremely disappointed. While in the store, I observed a customer trying to understand what had happened after her dog was injured during a grooming appointment. From what I could see, she was simply seeking answers and assistance regarding her dog's condition. Instead of receiving empathy or support, she was treated rudely and disrespectfully by the staff and store management. At one point, the customer was even threatened with having the police called on her. As a pet owner, it was upsetting to witness. Our pets are family members, and when something happens to them, we expect a business to show concern, professionalism, and a willingness to help. Unfortunately, that is not what I observed. This is not the first time I have noticed a lack of customer service, particularly in the grooming department. Seeing how this customer was treated makes me question how I would be treated if a similar situation happened to me. I hope someone from corporate takes the time to read this and address these concerns. Based on my experience, I would encourage pet owners to carefully consider where they take their pets for grooming and where they choose to shop. read more

I took my 4 month old puppy to get groomed for the first time today. Isabelle, Ash, and Gigi did AMAZING!!! Made mine and my puppies first grooming experience so memorable and enjoyable. My puppy is a little nervous so they took their time explaining everything to me that they were going to do and how they were going to acclimate her to grooming. Even gave me tips I can do at home to get her desensitized to getting her nails clipped as she gets older. I will definitely be taking her back! read more

I have 2 dogs and they carry so many items like treats, wet food, dry food, collars, leashes, grooming products and toys galore! The staff are extremely friendly. I love that I can bring my dogs and bathe them there. They always have some type of treats on sale that I buy and share with my UPS driver! Their prices are better than Chewy!! All of their services are more affordable than most places here in Destin.. when you don't have time, they have a dog washing station second to none and then the girls next door in the salon can do nails or a face trim pretty much on demand for super and expensive. Last week I posted a review about their grooming service crippling my puppy. One of the owners, Deb, contacted me, said she was very upset, and asked what she could do to make it right. I said: a) paying the emergency vet bills ($489.05) would help. I sent her the bills. b) making a strict rule that no employee should express a dog's anal glands (which caused a massive infection) without express permission of the pet owner and c) She said she was going to fire the groomer. I asked her not to. She then disappeared. A 'response' to my review was posted, said they were very upset and pls to contact them. I've heard nothing since. read more

the abolsute worst experience ever!!!!! the groomers were awful to my 17 yr old bishon who is 15#. they should be ashamed of the treatment towards dogs. do not use this place. there are other groomers in the area who will treat your dog much better. all the groomers had were excuses for their actions. i had to demand them to give me my dog in order to leave. abuse thru a window is still abuse. read more

It was a very cold day outside. Took my dogs to the wash yourself, expecting at least to have warm water. No heat in the building, barely tepid water, and the dryer was absolutely cold. We have been locals to the area for a few years and have been trying to find a pet store that wasn't Pet Smart or some crazy boutique. We have been going there since day one, even before the grand opening! We have also been greeted with smiles and it was always a positive experience to go and give our pup a bath. However, this past time we were greeted with a disgruntled employee and now the baths are $16????? LOL last time I checked I could use a hose at my house and buy a big bottle of my own shampoo for half the price!!! I asked the employee why the massive hike in price and he just glared at me and repeated it was $16. I understand inflation, but this much of a hike on something I'm doing myself is OUTRAGEOUS. This pet store used to be known as the king of all pet stores in the area, but us locals have come to a conclusion that your scamming people out of their money and have lost all your friendly employees. read more

I thought I finally found a pet store that was convenient to home, clean, had everything I wanted, and the prices were reasonable. Well, when I went in recently to give my dog a bath, the price had increased by 33%; from 12.00 to 16.00, and the grooming also increased. What a disappointment! Were the prices initially reasonable just to attract customers and now it is a "bait and switch". I understand inflation; everyone is doing it, but increasing from 12.00 to 16.00 is outrageous. Another vet in the area increased their toenail clipping, as well, but it was a 50 cent increase, not 33%. I guess I won't be going back there again. read more
