My pup was taken back and tended to immediately, they don't kennel here or keep dogs waiting around. They also have multiple groomers working together on one pup, which cuts down the grooming time and speeds things up significantly. Everything is by appointment and you drop your pup off at your appointment time only. TLDR: Our dog was attacked and they claim that he scratched himself. First photo is a pic from them…read moreand the rest are after the area was shaved for veterinary care. Judge for yourself if the injuries are scratches or bite marks and if a dog is physically able to scratch itself on the inside of its ear. They are very clearly puncture wounds to us and our vet. --------------------------------------- Dropped off our blind dog 11.24.2025 at roughly 3pm. The morning of 11.28.2025 we received a message that his ear had been bleeding and they believed it was from scratching so they provided him with the expected medical care. Afternoon of 11.29.2025 they told us he was "shaking". My wife was able to pick him up early and take him to the emergency vet (Saturday evening and regular vet closed) who shaved and treated the area and gave him antibiotics. We did follow-up with our regular vet and they determined that the injuries were puncture wounds from a dog attack. When we told them Fur Paws said the injuries were from him scratching himself they looked at us like we had just told them 1 + 1 = 3. In spite of the records we provided from the vet showing his treatment history and their diagnosis of "dog bite wounds and vestibular disease" Fur Paws claims he arrived there with some condition that led to him scratching himself (on the inside of his ear too!). He arrived 11.24, they noticed wounds 11.28, and by the afternoon of 11.29 he was shaking so he had a fever. It takes 24-72 hours for infection and then a fever to occur so one can do the math on their claim that he arrived with an ailment already. Then you add in that these are clearly not scratch marks and you see that they're questioning our intelligence with their explanation. Send your dog here at your own risk.

For boarding, they always send a cute pic or two to show how he's doing. My dog is always excited when we get here. They are easy to schedule, either online or by calling. If they call during the day with questions, they always start out by saying something like "This is ___ at Best Little Dog House, Louie is fine, we just had a question about...." Which is awesome if you're not expecting a call! They also do super cute enrichment activities and have themed birthday parties.

On hot and humid summers days, my girls enjoy the refrigerated cooling plat, and misting fans and lots of fresh water. Sophie has been coming for over 5 years, and Finley for over 2 years. After right at 2 years of patronizing this business, it was requested to not cut the hair on my…read morefriend's daughter's, Shitzu Poodle mix. Upon picking him up, it was discovered that the hair in his head was indeed cut. After contacting Eddie to inform him of the matter, he then conveyed to me that José, the technician, stated that he "felt disrespected" and that services to our dog would be discontinued. Eddie went on to say that because of the dog's disposition- there are no other techs who desired to "put up with him" and "José was the only tech who would groom him." The irony is: If in fact the dog were so unmanageable, amazingly, Eddie would call my friend to see when would she be bringing him in. If the dog were that bad, his services should have been refused 2 years ago. The final analysis- Eddie told me that he would refund me the money from the last service and that due to the dog's disgruntled disposition- there was a TLC fee, which we have never seen, prior to that day. As a patron, it was NEVER about the money. It was about José failing to follow instructions and when the issue was addressed, the company assumed a stance of victimization, which resulted in poor customer service. Accountability goes a long way a business, and sadly, they chose not to be held accountable.

We do the express grooming so she is finished in two hours. She's always clean, happy, and he takes excellent care of her. She looks beautiful every time and I can tell she likes it because when she goes there she knows exactly where to go off the leash. For credit cards they do add a fee for the processing which is fair so we Zelle every time to avoid the fee. Prices are competitive and it's actually lower than you would think. Parking is always available.
