We took our baby to the Barker Cypress location today. I have never been more happy with any dog groomer we've ever used! My baby looks gorgeous! The staff were so friendly and the groomer was very knowledgeable. I also loved that she didn't have to stay for 6-7 hours. I took her in at 1:00 and they were done with her by 3:00. I took my dog here recently for a good bath and grooming. The person on the phone was the groomer and she was so helpful. I explained that my pup had just been to the vet the day before. I made a same day appointment and got my dog there within the hour. Once I arrived, the same person I spoke with on the phone greeted me and asked me if my dog usually gets the lambs cut. I was impressed! No other groomer has asked me that before. I usually have to go detail by detail on how to trim her body, legs and ears. I also told her to cut the face in a teddy bear shape. She told me they'd see if my dog would be ok with a full groom because she might be skiddish one day after the vet appointment. I said ok and they told me they'd call when she was ready. I got a call AND a text which was really cool! I paid using their digital system. I also met another groomer who was nice. My dog looked beautiful! I will be back! The full groom costs $80. I was a little apprehensive about our visit only because it would be Oreo's first time at the groomer. I've always groomed him at home. When we arrived the building was so inviting with the cool color patterns. Oreo was a little standoff but Seth really eased him into it. I really think it was the carcasses on top of the head that made him fold. Once in the back to the wash station he was really at ease. He understood what was happening. Seth & his staff understood the assignment and provided a great experience for us both. Oreo hair was so silky and shiny you would think he had got a Dominican blowout. He didn't even want me running my hands through it. I knew then Seth hand magical hands. The shape of his body was great and I love the mini Mohawk on his head. It took some years but I've finally found the perfect groomer. If you love spoiling your pooch as much as I. Dylan cut my dogs ear. My dog has NEVER had a problem being groomed before however, this time my dog did not want to stay in the shop. He was visibly uncomfortable and tried to leave the door multiple times which is out of the norm for him. When I came back to pick him up Dylan informed me that he did cut my dogs ear with the scissors and had to put a dry antiseptic on it because it was bleeding profusely. I am making another review because clearly Kennedy's pet services deleted my last review without following up, responding or apologizing like decent customer service representatives. I also see that they have been busting the blood vessels in other dogs eyeballs because of their miss treatment. Don't take your dog here go somewhere else that has technicians that actually care. They all had a very cavalier attitude for harming someone's dog. read more

I so appreciate these guys. I brought in a very feisty, fidgety, rebellious maltipoo puppy whose fur was getting a bit matted because she would not even allow me to comb her. They were willing to take her on despite the challenge, and they got her all cleaned up and trimmed. After this success, I brought in my daughter's rescued rough collie, who is extremely timid and is scared of his own shadow. When I picked up the dogs, they were happy and relaxed, not to mention that they did a beautiful job on them. I love Kennedy's! read more

I'm honestly very disappointed at this location. I have taken my labradoodle 4 times now. They always miss place I'm my information and I'm having to give them my info multiple times, VERY FRUSTRATING! And the owner keeps telling me the system keeps crashing, very hard to believe as I know 2 other customers that take their pets here and they never have any issues. Prices always change and never stay the same. I will no longer bring my dog to these groomers. read more

I've taken my dog here several times in the last 2 years and in the beginning I had great service. Unfortunately this last year they've gone downhill in service. The employees are changing and seem less concerned about customer service and the well being of the pets. Can't communicate with the owners to voice my concerns because they're always "unavailable" according to the employees. I made an appointment online as usual this past week and the appointment was accepted. So after driving there I was told they would not allow my dog to be groomed because his updated shot records were not available. His veterinarian was closed for the day so they could not verify. I was not called ahead of time and told to bring his updated records to his appointment. I made the appointment a full week ahead of time so they could have called me or emailed me to bring them or send them. The groomer did not want to work is what the issue was. He was ready to go home so this was an excuse to not groom my dog. I will not be going back there again. The nipped his nose last time and I shouldn't have returned. They are unprofessional so goodbye. read more

Myself and my siblings have been utilizing Kennedy's Pet Service since the day they opened their doors and i will never use anyone else to groom my dog. The staff is not only super sweet and kind, they are also patient and experienced. Shantel has groomed our pets the last few services and she does a phenomenal job. I drop my dog off for 5 mins here and they told me to pick her up they gave no effort in calming her down they had a oversized dog barking it's head off constantly driving everyone crazy but they chose to refuse service on a 15lb maltipoo with zero efforts giving to calm down my dog or store or the dogs barking their heads off if they gave it atleast 10 minutes I would have given them a pass but they didn't they are not good with animals I would not advise anyone to go here I tried to explain to them to calm down the big dog and give her sometime because we was all suffering ptsd from a constant loud barking dog and they all ganged up on me saying that dogs owner spends more money take in mind this is my first time here surly a sign of money hungry careless ran business please try somewhere else save yourself the hassle and your self a gang fight. read more
