She is friendly, attentive, and truly authentic in the way she interacted with both customers and pets. This is the kind of customer service that makes you feel valued and keeps you loyal to a specific store. My baby doggy, Chai, loved everyone in the store. The staff was so sweet, patient, and engaging with her, which made the entire visit feel relaxed and enjoyable instead of stressful. On top of that, our experience with the mobile Vetco team was outstanding. The veterinarian and vet tech were incredibly kind, gentle, and thorough, taking the time to explain everything and making sure Chai felt comfortable and cared for throughout the visit. Between the amazing in-store team, Summer's leadership and genuine kindness, and the wonderful Vetco staff, this experience truly stood out. The grooming team (CeCe, Ozzy and Kim) do a wonderful job on my dog's nail trims. He's quite dramatic when getting his nails trimmed but they put him at ease and take their time to trim his nails well and shape them well too. I appreciate it when they know he's kind of anxious and treat him well with pets and positive reinforcement. They do such a great job. This location is one of the better organized and managed stores I've frequented. They have a good selection of food, treats, and toys for your furry friends and their staff is great.

The young man I spoke to was friendly and knowledgeable....this gave me confidence in the Petco location. I was very disappointed with my experience, however, once I got there. While the facility itself has all the physical features I was looking for (easy-access tubs, convenient sprayers that dispense water, shampoo, and conditioner, and multi-level dryers), the customer service was horrible! Registers were left unattended (there were literally no employees to be found), it was hard to find an employee who could help check me in, and even after completing check-in, I wasn't given towels or brushes or an apron (all items that are advertised as being part of the process). At the end of our visit, finally one of the groomers came to our aid with towels, but only after I had to leave my dog in the tub and knock on the grooming window for help. The groomer was the only employee who displayed any willingness to assist...all other employees were literally non-existent (where were they?).

Instead of listening or asking questions, the doctor told me not to bring my dog back until he's "well." Newsflash: my dog was never sick -- he had a simple food change. Zero effort to understand, zero education, zero concern. If you don't want to do your job, just say that. Now the grooming department... laughable. I was told on a previous call that walk-ins are accepted. When I called back to confirm, the girl on the phone said they don't take walk-ins -- then immediately contradicted herself by saying they do, they just didn't want to do it that day. So basically, policies change depending on how motivated the staff feels? Got it. The lack of professionalism here is embarrassing. No communication, no accountability, and no one seems interested in helping customers or their pets. It's giving "we're here for a paycheck, not for pets." Save yourself the frustration and take your business anywhere else. This place does not deserve your money or your trust.

As I was walking in with my leashed dog, I noticed a decorated white dog without a leash. I inquired about if the dog should be on a leash and the girl at the front said oh no it's fine. I mentioned I was uncomfortable and I guess I'd have to put my dog in the car. Even though the girl at the front saw me struggling with the freezer for my dog's cake, she didn't help me. She also walked away when I wanted to check out to the grooming area. When I echoed my concern about the unleashed dog, despite their own policy, she told me she couldn't control the groomer's dog. This policy is in place for everyone's safety.
