When the store first opened is had 6ft of saltwater fish and an addition 6ft of freshwater fish. All has left Over the years due to changes in management. Store has a a wide variety of dog and cat food. Less supplies on the exotic pets such as small mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. Staff is helpful and courteous. 4 star given as the store has the market and ability to expand their availability in birds and fish with the return of lost units. read more

I have been taking my rescue pup here for grooming ever since I adopted him in 2013. He adores the grooming staff and actually looks forward to seeing them - he gets excited when I ask if he wants to go see "the girls!" He knows exactly who I am referring to. And they are so good with him - they treat him as if he is their own. I could not ask for more caring and professional individuals to take care of my sweet boy. So big KUDOS to Polly, Nikki, Roxie, and the rest of the gang - Joey adores you...and that means so much to me. I brought both of my dogs in here today hoping to get them baths. I had taken them to the park & they both rolled in deer poop. I have a bad back & knew if I went home to give them baths I was going to be done for the day. I walked into the grooming area & inquired. They said they were busy & would be unable to do it today (completely understandable). I told them thank you, explained what happened, & said I would take them down the street to another groomers. They started looking around & trying to figure out if they could do it & they did! They truly have no idea how very much they helped me out today, but I am extremely grateful!!! Very friendly & accommodating staff. Thank you guys so much! I normally do their baths myself, but when I do take them somewhere, it will always be here now...next time I'll make an appointment!! read more

shop here in store frequently and have always loved it. I recently purchased something online to be picked up. Unfortunately the animal suffered a stroke before I could pick it up and the product was no longer needed. I called immediately (May 7). I was told a refund would be processed and if I did not hear anything back it would all be good. I waited. No phone call and no refund. I called back and was told it was on the manager's desk and they would call me soon. I waited... No call no refund. I was again given the same information. Today I called and was told, "Oh. Since it was an online order you have to come in, pick it up and then do the return in person. We have it in the back room waiting." I am not looking forward to having to go in and explain about my pet and go thru all the hurt, but more importantly... Was anyone ever going to call to tell me? 10 days and no one had. I asked and I was told, "They told me someone called you." This was the worst customer service I have EVER received from this store. Couldn't be more disappointed. read more

My fiance went into pet supplies plus , to look at the fish he very rarely goes in there well he asked the one young lady who was very nice about the fish ans if they were saltwater and what kind of fish it was, she said she wasnt for sure , so she called the other lady to come over , my fiance asked her if they were salt water , the lady responded back in a very rude and unprofessional way , the lady told him we dont carry salt water fish in a snooty way. Ok for one you guys dont have it labeled for two he never comes there so he wouldn't know , I don't appreciate the attitudes and if you can't assist your customers with a professional attitude then you shouldn't be there . read more

It took me two years of living in town to finally stop in and I love the store! I love the staff!! I am able to ask any questions and there is always something to laugh about! I love bringing my dogs in and walking up and down the isles which are kept so neat and tidy. The animals are well taken care of and there is never a rush from the staff to stop socializing with the animals. Prices are a tad high BUT when you are competing with Petco right down the road and Petsmart one town over, you cant complain. I've been working on socializing my "COVID season adopted pup" and the staff is so helpful! Anything you ask them to do and any way that they can help! I LOVE THAT!!! Also, beyond my animals, they don't mind talking to my kids about the animals and teaching them about care and food and responsibility. They bring the kittens out to see the kids and they are just as happy to be teaching the next generation as I am. The pet store has become our weekly event. Thank you Pet Supplies Plus!! My wife took our 15 year old dog Molly in for a groom and (much needed) nail clipping. We tried keeping up with her nails over this COVID situation but they were out of control! Long story short, the women working the dog grooming area were amazing. Her nails were perfectly manicured and obviously she smelled and looked great too. Unfortunately, we didn't have cash on us to tip when we picked her up but plan to get them a tip soon and, obviously, will have our business going forward. Thanks again! read more
