Buddy has been going to PetSmart for years. Jayce grooms him. Scheduled an appointment. The look on Jayce's face was disturbing like she did not want to groom buddy. We did not make it out of the store when I got a call to come pick him up. Said due to him being old best to go to vet. I suggested to schedule in a week and I was told no. Go the the app to schedule an appointment to finish the grooming that was started and can't do that. So for this I give them less then a 1 star. He will be 15 years old and I take him to be groomed 3 times a year. read more

I've taken my dog here for a long time for grooming. Never had any issues until yesterday. I took my dog to have her groomed and when I picked her up she couldn't open her left eye. The girl said she didn't know what happened but said I could have their vet check her out if I wanted but I had cold food in my car and I had already waited an hour and a half later than what it usually takes for a haircut and bath. Now I think the reason for that was because her eye was injured and she was trying to rinse it out and make sure it was going to be ok. So that night I called PetSmart and talked to the person who trimmed her and said her eye was no better. She said she would call me first thing in the morning when the vet came in to see if I could bring her in right away to get her checked out. So when I took her in to get her checked, they said that she had a 1 mm scratch on her eye. I asked the girl how she did that or what happened and she said she thought it was because of the soap that they use to wash your face with. soap doesn't cause a scratch on your eyeball. They didn't charge me for that appointment but they're gonna charge me for the next one to get it rechecked which I think is crap so I should not have to pay for something they did. Plus they only reimburse me half of the grooming that I had done I feel like I should've had a full refund. I wouldn't be as upset and give a bad review if they would've just owned up to what they did, that's what bugs me more than anything if you messed up and made a mistake then just say it don't lie about it and say you don't know what happened and then everybody else is on board with her so nobody gets in trouble and now I had to take time off work to take her over there today and I have to take time off next week to take her back over there plus they want me to pay for it. I did call and try to contact corporate but the way they have their website no one can call and talk to anyone In corporate. Someone else has to relay the message to them and maybe they'll email me back. I won't be doing any of my shopping or grooming there anymore. Pretty shady if you ask me. read more

We took our dog for a bath/nail trim/grind on memorial day weekend.We had set up an appointment during the prior week. They informed us they were closing early, but we still had a full hour before they were closing, but had an appointment, so I didn't see any problems. After 20 minutes or so, they called to tell us he was finished. After leaving and checking his nails, we realized there were multiple that had been missed and none had been grinded to be smooth. We ended up taking him somewhere else to have the nails fixed. read more

I scheduled dog grooming 7 days ago for today. I received an email confirmation & it shows up in my account online as booked. When I arrived I was told they didn't have her down for an appointment. I showed them the email confirmation. There was a sign outside that said walk ins welcome but they couldn't do the groom that I had confirmation of. I live 30 mins away, gas is $4.75 a gallon, & now I can't run the errands I planned on running because I have my dog with me. read more

This is a decent sized Petsmart location in East Peoria. I am visiting the area this week and took my dog to be groomed here. He tends to be difficult but the staff in the grooming area were really nice and understanding. This is a typical Petsmart, a good selection of items for all kinds of pets. read more

There was a time when I would take my dogs in for grooming and over time both my dogs started acting really strange and growling at the people in the pet salon, my dogs NEVER tried to bite anyone but this one particularly person who had piercings and tattoos when they would see her coming toward them they both would start growling when she would Come and put another leash on them to take them back and tried to bite her for some reason they did not like that girl but that's all I was there one day to pick up my dogs and I saw his girl instead of cutting the knots out of this dog she was pulling the knots out and she was wondering why the dog was trying to bite her you pull my hair I'm going to try to bite you too so now I'm never ever taking my dogs back there again read more

My cat looks great for the big party! They had to give her s mild sedative to give her a bath, but the slight amount of drooling was worth it! She looks amazing and smells better than ever before! I definitely recommend them if you have a vicious pet that refuses to bathe herself- 5 stars! read more

Will definitely go back to her, she was very kind & gentle, listened to us about Charlottes traumatic background to make sure the appointment went as smooth as could be. I very rarely shop at Petsmart due to customer service issues. My latest experience there has ensured that I will never again shop at Petsmart. Recently I got a pet map turtle (from this same store actually) who is very timid and had been injured pretty severely while under their care. This turtle, like many maps, isn't too keen on catching minnows to eat. Always excited to build a community, I went to this store to get a couple of cheap feeder goldfish to put with him. Being me, I wanted healthy, pretty goldfish, and having worked at a pet store, I knew what a pain it was to search one fish out of a feeder bin, so I looked through their tanks at the goldfish they have dispersed throughout them and found two out of the same, low population tank that I wanted. The employee refused to sell me those feeders. She insisted I had to get them out of the feeder bin. I explained to her that they were not for feeders, they were to coexist with my turtle. She argued with me that he would eat them. I calmly explained that he does not go after the feeder minnows, so I wanted to see if he would leave goldfish alone, since I absolutely love them. She argued with me that my turtle would eat them. I told her that if she did not want to help me, I would go someplace else. She said no, but there were plenty of pretty goldfish in the feeder bin. I told her I wanted the one I had originally indicated, and she said that I couldn't buy him. I left and called the store and asked for the manager. When I told the manager why I was calling, she said the employee had already told her what happened. I told the manager that I was very upset with how I had been treated, and she told me the employee was right not to get me a certain goldfish to put in with my turtle because my turtle would just eat it. I politely explained to her that my turtle does not eat the minnows I feed it, so I wanted to see if the same was true for goldfish. She started to argue with me about that, so I just hung up. This is definitely the place to go if you wanted to be completely disrespected and treated like an idiot. read more
