A store with a large selection and exceptional staff. A quick look at Ken's website will confirm that they have a large and varied stock of items. Partly why I fist headed to Ken' is that they had items I could not find elsewhere or on Amazon. Ken's makes a concerted effort to stock hard to find items including canister filter parts. This is my yearly stop for "O rings" and food grade lubricant for servicing my aquarium canister filters. Ken's prices are also very competitive. I recently purchased a Fluval 407, and their Black Friday price beat Amazon and all others. The staff is another reason they excel over many online chain stores. If I go in with a problem, they give me affordable options. In one case, the staff member told me they had no fix; however, he knew where I should go for the solution. That professionalism is one reason why I drive the distance for this store. They have online sales; however, I prefer in store pickup. If I purchase at Ken's website, my purchases are always ready at the register. Ken's does not sell live pets; however, they have most everything a pet could want. This will continue to be my go to location for pet and fish supplies. Give it a try !

We love going to Ken's Fish for our reptile needs. The variety of products and the pricing is great. Staff is always helpful!!

The staff are always very friendly and knowledgeable. Very frustrated by my experience today. I lost my wallet about a month ago and a week and a half ago saw a voicemail from the Tractor Supply saying they may have found my wallet in their parking lot. I was so excited, and called to verify it was mine. I let them know I was away and would be by in about a week to pick it up. They said it would be in the office for me. Flash forward to today and I find out they threw away my wallet. I am so frustrated not just because I called them so recently to verify, but because now my cards and identification information are at risk and unprotected. When I learned they had it, I unfroze my credit/debit cards so I could continue using them online - come to find out they've actually been tossed... I'm so upset to have lost all of my cards, and the family photos I had in the wallet. Especially given my address was there, they should have given such sensitive material to the police, not the garbage can. I'm really sad that I won't be going here anymore, as the staff was always friendly to me. Going to switch to a local grain store that may be more patient in their store policies instead of throwing away people's belongings after confirming they can be picked up. Since I'm reviewing, I will also add that that incorrectly sexed the baby chicks I bought from the store. I paid extra to get female pullets but half were roosters, which change the dynamic of a flock entirely. I later learned that Tractor Supply is known among the chicken community to have higher rates of this error.

I only moved to Massachusetts a few months ago and I'm happy I've found Pet Food Shoppe. I want to support local businesses and that's easy to do here because they have such a great selection. I've done a lot of research on what is best to feed my boys and Pet Food Shoppe offers options that are more species appropriate. They also of course have a wide range of dry and wet foods. You'll find high quality products here and a few different dehydrated and raw foods to choose from. They carry Primal, Stella and Chewy, and Honest Kitchen for both dogs and cats. If they don't have something you want, they will check and see if they can order it for you! For example, they have ordered RadCats (raw food), Answers Pet Food (also raw), and ZiwiPeak (high quality canned food) for my boys - and almost always at better prices than I can find online or elsewhere. These 3 latter brands are pretty difficult to find, so I really appreciate them putting in the work to see if they can order them for me. Overall, fabulous customer service and a great place to shop.

Supposedly he was seen 10 days ago. They should be able to provide some kind of report if he was truly seen. All they emailed me was a "confirmation" of an appointment. Nothing more, and I have requested it many times. DO NOT trust this store for your current or future pets. My daughter who was/is going through a lot- medically and emotionally wanted a hamster for years. Due to all she was going through, her dad and I agreed to get her a hamster. First one purchased 1/12/26 lived 8 days. Brought in the deceased hamster, replaced it with a smaller one and also got the new one a large tank vs the small plastic cage Petco sold us. When in to get the new one, the worker told me the hamster the deceased one was with in the store also died. They "must have had wet tail". The second one showed signs of not being well a few days after getting it. Not eating, not drinking, not playing on the wheel. Kim "the animal lead", tells me "bring him in, sounds like he is weak. We will get him to the vet. I dropped him off 1/28 in the morning. Later that day, I called to see when I could expect to pick him up to be told "the vet cant see him until next week". I asked if I could take him to our vet who would see him same day as he should be seen. I was told no, Petco won't reimburse for that visit. Long story short, after complaining to the store and their corporate office; the hamster supposedly saw the vet with them and did not make it. The toll this has taken on my already fragile daughter is unbearable. I've emailed Petco 3x asking for the vet report without response. Probably because there is none. I do not by any means recommend this store to anyone, they do not care for animals!

So we grieved and then started a search for a new buddy. After a long and arduous search we came across Soares Farm Kennel on the Breeders Club website. We decided we wanted the last puppy he had from a litter of English Bulldogs. So Suse and I started out from Leeds Maine at 2:30 PM on a very cold day to get supplies, car harness, collar, chew toys, etc... picked my husband up at work at 4:30 and headed for a 3 hour trip to South Easton, MA. We were anxious to say the least. We had read reviews, some good, some bad. When we arrived we called Kurt and he came out to meet us. Very nice home and very nice person. He lives at end of road with a very large plot of land. There is a very long dirt drive way to kennels that is all gated off and locked. The kennel was a well built building like a home with windows etc... I stayed in the car with Suse while he took my husband in to get the puppy. When they returned with the healthiest little fat bulldog I was relieved. Kurt gave us the rest of the bag of puppy food to help with the transition to the food we feed Suse who has major allergies. He also told us about some holistic medicine that helps with the antibodies that Suse is missing and probably the reason for allergies. He had been through all the shots and such which did not work and Kurt said he tries to do the holistic approach. A man after our own hearts for we are very "Organic" folks. On the ride home Craig proceeded to tell me how clean the kennels were and not smelly and nice and heated and very well maintained. It has not been 24 hours but so far this little guy did the 3.5 hr ride home and slept through the night and is very well adjusted. Not timid or any separation anxiety. So I believe the dogs are very well cared for. Lets face it breeding is no different then farming or raising of any animal, there are good farms and there are badly cared for ones. This dog "farm" is a great one! Who knows we may go back for another little buddy. Welcome to your "furever" home Stig!
