I couldn't be more grateful for the guidance I received from Carolyn. She took the time to listen and ask key questions. And she recommended the store's Redford sensitive stomach food. So I've been talking my dog the West Seneca location pet supplies Plus for her grooming approximately the last year at the very least, I just had a current appointment about a week ago and I thought the grooming went well. The people were nice and it seemed like my dog's haircut was good untill I looked a little closer. I have an American Eskimo dog with a very thick undercoat so most of her appointments average 3 hours because there's lots of brushing and bathing and hair cutting involved. The last three times I've taken my dog to the pet supplies Plus in West Seneca her grooming appointment was finished within an hour and a half. No I didn't think nothing of it at the time. So after her most recent appointment I looked a little closer at her fur and realized that the people grooming my dog and pet supplies Plus was not properly grooming her. They did not brush the undercoat to the point that it got so mad at and my dog is overheating inside her body and I didn't realize it until now. They were not brushing her coat out so after three appointments of bathing and thinking that she's getting her coat brushed out they did not do it and her coat is now matted. And this is a problem for me because now I have to do all the work myself and on top of it I tipped the groomers very generously. I do not like this location and I do not recommend you spend one dime in this location. I've also had other issues in the past they have stolen money from me because the people there are incompetent and way too young. More training is necessary for these younger people. How can I entrust these people with my fur baby. I won't be going to this location anymore I have found other avenues to take. read more

I enjoy coming here, you are greeted when you enter, and no matter where you go in the store someone is asking if you need help. When I arrived the groomer was in the back grooming another fur baby and she was just talking to him making him feel comfortable which I really liked. He was treated like he was hers, which I thought was really cute and it showed me the care my baby would get. While I was there, I found some dog food that was on sale, so I loaded up on it. I would recommend Pet Supplies Plus for your pet's needs and by the way they fitted Levi for a coat, because I couldn't figure out what size he wore. read more

This used to be the Pet Supplies I went to all the time, unfortunately it has turned into a filthy dump. I came at 10:45 in the morning to wash my dog, when I got back there as usual for this place it was filthy. I asked for someone to clean it, and it was still filthy. I asked again for someone to clean it, and the manager said it is cleaned but the drain is clogged. I asked her to refund me so I could go somewhere else, and she wouldn't do it. All the while the employee with her said if it's not up to your standards, there are plenty other places to go. I definitely will go somewhere else. This location has steadily gone down hill over the last year. Poor management! Also 45 minutes into opening there were no towels. read more

I love love love this Pet Supplies. I've had to shop hop groomers for the longest time because Rosie absolutely HATES coming in for a nail trim, and I've had to drag her in to different groomers on multiple occasions. The difference with this Pet Supplies is that their grooming area is open air, not a separate room, and they have two stall-style doors that lead into the grooming stations - they effectively trick Rosie into entering the area before she realizes where she is. Sorry Rosie, if you could read this, just know that I love you and I take you for trimmings because nobody wants gangly nails. The groomers here are also so nice, so willing to be patient with Rosie as she is still terrified when she's up on the table. It's part of the reason why I've made this location my place to take her when she needs it! This Pet Supplies is also fully stocked like every other store in town - dog and cat food, treats, accessories, etc. Also stuff for animals like birds, fish, etc. In general, the staff here are my favorite. Everyone is so kind, willing to help if need be. Rosie usually enjoys the post-nail trim treats. Five barks!! read more

I have used your grooming services and they did a great job on both my dogs. I love the convenience of the same day delivery. Sometimes I just don't have time to make all the stops I need to make, and they come through for me! I was on auto ship with Chewy but changed it to Pet Supplies Plus because you don't run out of the product like Chewy does. read more

This is my go to spot for all things needed for my hairy-dog-baby-angel. They have two full aisles of dog kibble ranging in all different poundage and prices. Costs are right on par with chewy.com and other online retailers. The new dog wash station is very convenient with their own shampoo, conditioner, blow dryers and towels. Staff is always kind and helpful. They frequently have $5 off coupons too. read more

The grooming staff are awesome, I drive an extra 25 mins to have my dogs nails done. They talk to them the entire time and it is the only place my dogs do not shake. Man was this place hopping on a Friday night! Since there really aren't many options as far as pet stores go in the area, I can definitely see why! I stopped in here for small treats for training and they had TONS of different options. More than pleased with the selection. Also reasonably priced compared to other pet stores. I was however slightly disappointed with the toy options. I was looking for a loofa toy and they seem to cater towards small dogs rather than larger dogs and the toys they had would be gone in two seconds with the three labs we have! A larger toy selection would leave me with no complaints! read more

We buy all our cat and bird supplies at Pet Supplies Plus. They have a good selection and low prices. Clean well-stocked store with friendly staff too. If that's not enough they also have vet checkups on weekends for routine care and it's way cheaper than most vets. Many vets charge like there is no tomorrow. Don't get me started, it's emotional blackmail! Their sales really are sales, not just some jerk-off gimmick. Their prices are considerably below supermarkets. More importantly, most of the cat food supermarkets sell isn't fit for feline consumption. Too much ash and grain, not enough protein and fat which is what cats need. They sell handmade cat perches at the lowest prices I've seen. If you love your cat he needs a perch. They don't behave well if they don't have one. We love cats and we don't care who knows it. I love this store! I am a "dog Mom" of a rescue and I have made it my goal to spoil her. I am in this store at the very least once a week. The store manager Bill is such a great guy! Bill goes out of his way to help the customer. Anytime I have a question or an issue with something he just works at it to make it right. ALL of the employees are just nice people that obviously have a love for animals and people. On one of my recent trips I had a coupon but they ran out of the size that was necessary for the coupon. Meh, the people who work here are somewhat slow.....i asked for 80 crickets and it was $10 then i found out 100 crickets were only $6 so i said "ah just charge me for 100" and the cashier did not understand why i would want to be charged for more...ummm ok....not to mention every time im there the animals are in HORRIBLE conditions and cramped in tiny cages. I actually catch a lizard every time i go there, maybe i'll start keeping them they'll be better off. but.....i can get 50 pounds of cat litter for $8, prices on food are the same at petco and petsmart so go there instead, where they actually take care of their pets. read more

Just moved to the Buffalo area not too long ago. I stopped into this store because my cat needed food and it was convenient to get to as I was shopping in the area. I stopped in here again to look at the prices for reptile supplies for my ball python and was displeased with the conditions they leave their reptiles in. The third time I came in I purchased some frozen mice (I normally buy them at Petsmart, but I would have to drive out of my way to get there from where I was.) That night I went to thaw one out to feed my ball python to find that after I dried it off from thawing in warm water it was disgusting. It smelled rotten, it had a gaping hole in its side (Which was leaking you know what) and the next 2 were pretty much the same. To my annoyance I didn't keep the receipt and wasted $15 on these mice that I now refuse to try to feed to my ball python and will likely throw out. I trust their off brand reptile products about as far as I can throw an elephant now. Go to Petsmart or Petco for your reptiles needs. read more
