Customer Service, teenage girls have no idea of customer service and time management. I would recommend their groomers but need to deal with front desk. Poor management. Mind you I have been a regular customer about $100+ per/visit. Management can list dollars paid per appointment if I am off. I would not be offended to be corrected. read more

Ive been taking my German Shepard here for a little over a year, as she is 11 years old i wash her myself in the self wash. It is always clean, inviting and easy to wash her. Everything you need is provided ( body wash, face wash, ear cleaner, towels brushes, conditioner, puppy perfumes) and you're given unlimited time to get your dog perfectly groomed. The dry room is god sent my pup takes forever to dry but with the very powerful dryers im able to get her all fluffy in about 30 mins to an hour, they also provide ear covers for you and your dog, its incredible! The best part, its AFFORDABLE AND YOU DONT HAVE TO CLEAN UP ( although i always try to in the dry room so others aren't coated in my pups hair if they finish their wash) the staff is always friendly and kind! I just brought my Golden Retriever here so that I could give her a bath. They have an excellent self serve tub, complete with ramp to get in, unlimited warm water, a non-slip tub mat, cotton balls to prevent water from getting in ears, face shampoo, washcloths, power dryer, aprons and towels. In short, they provide everything you need to properly bathe your dog. There is a hook up to keep doggy from escaping, which really came in handy. All this plus very friendly and helpful people to assist. They even provided a band to put around the dog's ears to muffle the noise of the dryer. The price was $12. We just started fostering a pup from the shelter who desperately needed a bath, so we took her straight here to use the self service station. All the employees were as sweet as possible in explaining the self service station and gave us so much advice on giving her her first bath. Overall they do an excellent job with grooming, however they are on the pricey side. I took my 8 month German shepherd for her first groom and like all puppies with their first groom she was a little apprehensive. Once they brought her to the back and started her groom they did call me with updates. One update being that she kept trying to roll off the table so another groomer was brought over to assist which I can appreciate because it keeps my dog safe, but to charge an additional $25 for it is a little absurd. I'll definitely bring her back because their quality of work is great, just very expensive. read more

I cannot speak highly enough about this place! We've been bringing our golden retriever Colby here for about 2 years now with no complaints. We have her get a double coat bath about twice a year in spring and fall to brush out her coat correctly and have her feet and rear end trimmed. They also have the self wash sinks that you can use for a lower price. They always do such a good job with her and she comes out looking like a million bucks. I love that they will put a fresh bandana on her too that usually coordinates with the season. Price depends on weight and breed. Today we paid about $65. (55lb golden retriever) I know id rather pay a little more to know my dog is in good hands, be treated right, and they will do a great job. read more

I have a giant 10 month old golden retriever. As he started growing, bathing him in my bathtub was just becoming a messy, painful chore. I discovered Laundromutt by the recommendation of a friend after we went on a messy hike with my dog. I've been hooked ever since. They are an affordable, easy way to keep your dog groomed and have many options from self wash to full blown grooming. I usually opt for self wash with a professional nail clipping which is about $20. This place though, provides you assistance for self wash, everything you could possibly need for self wash including shampoo, towels, an impossibly easy tub with cool hoses, blow dryers, headbands to comfort you dog while blow drying, oatmeal wash for face, brushes (I bring my own) face towels, harness for tub, etc. Personally, bathing my giant dog has been so much easier with this place! read more

We have a German Shepherd who loves getting dirty but hates having baths. She is quite strong and bathing her at home in our bathtub was becoming unmanageable for me (I am a petite woman). She isn't really the 'go to the groomer' type of dog, either, being a Shepherd and not needing professional haircuts. So we were resorting to those 'baby wipes' made for dogs for awhile. Until we found this place! You don't 'need' an appointment to wash your own dog, but you can make one if you'd like. Wow, this place has *everything* you need! The staff set us up in the 'big girl' tub, which is a godsend. It opens in the front and then raises up - so no having to lift the squirming big baby into the tub! They have the neck restraints so nervous dogs don't try jumping out of the tub. You get to pick out any shampoo - we got a holiday cinnamon one around Christmas - and they set everything up for you right at the station. Shampoo, special shampoo for the dog's face, brushes, and towels - and even a blowdryer! Our favorite part of going here? You literally just leave all of the fur and mud and wet towels - they actually encourage you to do so. Your own bathroom remains not-covered-in-mud-and-bubbles, your dog smells amazing and you're only out like ten dollars. Totally worth it! read more

Great Service! I brought my two dogs in for nail clipping and baths. I was able to handle the bathing, but was asked several times by the staff if I needed any assistance. They could not have been more helpful!! I am impressed at how clean they keep the shop and the variety of soap choices they have. I go out of my way to take my dogs there and will continue to do so. Beware of their 15 minute late rule, which is something totally new to me, not posted anywhere and communicated once you are late, that they gave your spot to someone else because you were late. Mind you I have been taking my dogs there since they first opened and quite honestly this shows no customer loyalty what so ever, like your just a number to them. I should have listened to my husband after the last time he picked our dog. He was in an emergency situation to use a bathroom and they refused to let him use their facility, in no way did they want him going into the back to use restroom. This made me uncomfortable, did they have something to hide? Well, for me, lessened learned and will not be bringing my dog for grooming. read more

Molly was our groomer for our 9 month female cavi-poo. The haircut was just what we have been looking for and she smelled great. It's very nice inside. You get the opportunity to bathe your dog yourself, or you can schedule an appointment to have one of the groomers do it. I had called ahead to let the groomer know that my dog is dog aggressive and requested that she be the last appointment, and they were very happy to accommodate my request. They're incredibly friendly and the place is very clean. They have a parking lot on the side and there is parking in the front. It is a little expensive, but when you have a 120 lb Saint Bernard that doesn't like other dogs, it's well worth the money. The groomer absolutely loved my dog and was very nice to her. The only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because, I didn't notice until we got home, but they did not clean out her ears, and that was a part of the package that I had purchased. When you spend $140 (including tip), I was a little annoyed that I had to do something that was supposed to be included. I will definitely take her back to the place, but will make sure to check her ears before we leave. read more

I was having a struggle finding a dog groomer place because when I called they said in a week or two, but I urgently needed a groomer because my graduation was coming up and I am leaving for a travel trip to Asia. I called and I let them my situation and she was super nice about it. She made sure he was nice and groomed before my graduation. Thank you so much for that, it means a lot! When I got there, I was greeted and the lady was so kind. I trusted her with my dog and I can't wait for him to go back. What I like about here is that they don't randomly charge people. They charge by size and what he needs and don't overcharge. My puppy is nice and clean for a very good price! Also, comes with a cute bandana. He is totally rocking and everyone commented him. People would say how cute he is with his teddy cut. He's a cute teddy bear with loves of hug and kisses. This is worth the drive and visit to! read more

I took my Shih Tzu puppy there twice. The first when he was 3-1/2 months they gave him the puppy package which wasn't a full groom but rather brush, shampoo, blow dry, face and nail trim. This was to get him used to being handled without spending the time a full groom would take. They did a great job and let me know how I could work with him to get him more acclimated to being groomed. The 2nd time I took him was 6 weeks later at 5 months for a full groom. Savannah did both appointments and I am very happy with the cut she gave him. It was exactly what I asked for. She was appreciative of the picture I showed her of how I wanted the face trimmed and she followed it exactly. While Savannah worked on my little one, I brought my beagle in for a nail trim. Again, excellent service. I was hoping she wouldn't give any trouble because when I try to trim her nails she doesn't sit still at all. I was told she was very good and no problem at all. This tells me she trusted them more than me, lol. I would absolutely recommend Laundromutt to anyone. Their prices seem very comparable to other grooming salons too. read more

Absolutely amazing place! I came here for the DIY bathing option for my 3 dogs and had a great experience. The baths were $12 a dog, that includes the tub, force dryer, many different brushes and combs, shampoo that smelled great, a face wash and leave in conditioner. I don't know where else you could possibly go for a deal like that. There were also some options to upgrade the shampoos and things like that for an additional charge. The tubs are in the their own little sections and they are in the center so you can walk around the tub on both sides to wash your dog. The tubs are also deeper than most I've seen at diy bathing places, which is nice because your dog is less inclined to jump out. The force dryer actually works and works well! Which is a relief when you have a long coated dog as I do. The face wash works wonders if you have pugs as I do as well. Their little wrinkles smell delightful now. Overall, the facility seems very clean and bright. I love the way it's decorated. This place is definitely a winner for me, I'll be making it my go to place for my dogs baths now. read more

It is a GREAT Bonding experience!! 4 months ago I was looking for someplace to get my dog, Roxy, groomed that I could afford & I checked to see if there were any U Dog Wash places & this place showed up on my search. So we checked it out & both me & Roxy enjoy it immensely!!! So today we went to get her Winter Bath. This place is really great!! They provide everything for the Bath: the Tub fits any size dog from Teacups to Wolfhounds, 1 size fits All.... Shampoos w different Scents, Soft Absorbent Towels, Water is nice & warm w a long Hose, High Speed Dryer. They even make sure that you don't get wet by giving you a long rubber apron. Unlike other places there is NO TIME LIMIT on how long it takes you to Bathe & Dry your Dog which makes it more Enjoyable..You won't have an issue w thoroughly washing your dog while having fun, especially if like my dog, they try to Escape from the Tub. They do provide a harness, but Roxy doesn't like to have a harness around her neck. So she likes to try to Escape. Luckily there is always 1 of the Girls there to lend a hand & will help you. Whether you have a question or need an extra hand even though their not being paid for grooming her. Which I think is amazing, not too many places will give you free labor!! There affordable it only cost under $20. They are a FULL Service Grooming Salon & they have all types of Packages. Though I have not used their Grooming Services, I have had to use there Expertise for my Dogs' Toenails because of her nails being black, I will NOT cut them. They do a PHENOMENAL Job & believe me doing Roxy's toenails is a rrrreal challenge. So if you want to try something different & want to have an Amazing Bonding experience with your Furry Friend, instead of going to the Groomers try the "Laundromutt" & Groom your dog yourself. Since they are growing by "LEAPS & BOUNDS", they are Expanding in February there Moving to a LARGER building on Delaware Ave., in Kenmore!! I went there for the first time today for an appt with my 17 week old Morkie, Dash. We were promptly greeted by Jessy and she asked what I wanted and we were able to figure out the best cut/wash for Dash. Jessy was done in an hour and gave me a call to come pick up Dash in 15 minutes. Jessy did a great job! She was so friendly and Dash loved her. Was charged extra for an unfinished haircut. Really not happy with the whole situation. In response to the business owner - I was told the grooming would be an hour and a half and then after 30-45 min I was asked to come pick him up. I understand your comments on not making the dog uncomfortable, but unfortunately that's part of the job, as I'm pretty sure no dog enjoys the grooming process. And no, I personally have never taken him to a groomer. My issue isn't that a professional grooming service could not complete the service, it's that you could not compete the service... and then over charged me for half the time. read more

We went to the Laundromutt to get our Airedale his first haircut. It came out okay, but the low review is because of some other serious stuff. They reserve the right to charge more for "fidgety" dogs, which is what it is, but they charge a lot i found out. An extra $30 on our bill. But the biggest problem was they CUT my dog in two places (one of which was in his modest area) and didn't tell us. We only found out after the dog chewed and chewed at it. So we were charged an extra $30 AND they cut him twice, which you can imagine leaves a bitter taste. He's now getting better slowly with neosporin and wrapping the affected areas, but I will not be returning or recommending this to anyone else read more
