Pet Supplies Plus is our go to for all of our dog food and dog supplies. This store is conveniently located and parking is always easy. The store is never too busy and we never have a problem finding staff if we need help. Although we don't take advantage of the grooming I do notice the grooming area is busy. If we are lucky we get to see some cute dogs while we are shopping. They generally have a good stock of food that we use and prices are reasonable. read more

New store is squeaky clean. Always easy to find my cat standards grain free food & ever clean litter. Great employees Allie is the boss lady, super cool very nice & my old friend now. Mattie works the front and she is the best. Open early and late it's great for the consumer like me that runs out of food at the last minute. My cat will let me hear about it all night if necessary. Now I love building rapports with businesses and becoming a regular or at least being someone they recognize. I hate writing 1 star reviews because I don't want to deter someone from going to a business. I've used this stores grooming services before without a problem. They take 2-3 hours, give me a call and boom I come pick up my Bella girl. Now on this day 6/27, the regular groomer was on vacation. When I dropped Bella off at 1030 am, the substitute groomer told me 'I'm behind today, so it will be longer than normal.' I inquired as to when she leaves for the day and she said 4 pm. I said alright, figuring I could shift my plans and make it work to pick Bella up closer to 4 PM. I get a voicemail at 12:09 pm in the middle of my errands. I arrive to pick Bella up at 3:20 pm which is as soon as I could get there. Upon picking up Bella, I receive the bill. Some amount for the grooming services and $25 for long term boarding. I inquire from the groomer as to who I should talk to about this charge. The manager happened to be upon us... I asked him why he applied said charge and he said 'She was here for 5 hours' to which I said she was here for 3 and 2 hours of grooming, but the only reason those 3 hours happened was because your groomer indicated she needed extra time. He decided I wasn't worth anymore thought and discussion and curtly replied, 'you have to come get your dog, bro!' I paid and left the store, never to go back again. Bella unfortunately was the victim of inexperience having streaks of uncut or missed hair along her back. read more

I'm a big fan of this new location. I really like the self serve dog wash. If you purchase five washes, it will work out to only $5 per visit. That is very reasonable when you consider that this includes towels, four choices of shampoo, smock, a hair dryer and they handle the clean up. This is a very good value!!! I always spend a little more as I usually let my dog choose a treat on the way out and it turns out she has expensive taste. read more

Do not use their "Do it yourself" dog wash. Equipment is broken. Made the mistake of buying a package that is worthless.

Self serve dog wash was a super amenity for customers when it was introduced. Too bad they neglect the area, allow the equipment to deteriorate and supplies depleted. Very disappointing. The "Plus" in their name is false advertising. They have what everyone has...pet food and small selection of other items. Update: Pet Supplies Plus Westlake listens to criticism and makes the necessary changes. Revisited self serve dog wash, equipment was repaired and most supplies were plentiful. Omg if you ever need to bathe your dog, go to the diy dog wash at pet supplies plus! So easy. They have everything- soap, aprons, towels. You can pay groomers to cut your dogs nails too. Took my boys today and it was great!! Store is clean and staff super helpful. read more

sorry but the worst groom my poodles have ever had... this is my first yelp review EVER BUT I HAD TOO and as nice as the groomer was we literally spoke on how I wanted "poodle feet"...I even showed her a pic and I flipped over their ears and asked for them to be cleaned out....their feet were NOT touched nor were the inside of their ears Or under their bellies...their top knit was bluntly chopped ears were not combed out AT ALL!!! literallt all that was done was shave of their bodies and that was not good....I couldn't even tell if they were bathed because they didn't smell good..... I would have respected and responded better if she was just honest about not knowing how to groom a standard poodle... because it is not cheap and to have to go home and redo what she didn't do was so frustrating....never again!!!! read more

I have been using pet supplies plus since we adopted our dogs a year ago for all of our pets needs... including grooming. This past week I took my dogs in for the basic package, that includes a bath and a nail clipping. Usually my experience has been great but this time no so much. Within the hour of dropping them off I received a call that they were finished. I thought that was off because 2 dogs, 2 baths ,8 paws and to make sure they are dry... doesn't seem like a lot of time. So I picked them up, they were still damp, and took them home. I later looked at my dogs paws to see jagged , splitting and sharp nails?! I understand the basic package is just a nail trim but as a groomer how do you think that's acceptable to leave a dogs nails? I would of paid more if I needed to to have them filed but I don't understand how that happened. Then one of my dogs, a 1 year old lab/ blood hound, rolled on her back for me to let her belly and the inside of her back leg had a chunk of hair missing!? Like she had been nicked or something. Mind you this was not there before, I would of seen that with all the belly rubs this dog receives. So I preceded to call and I was told maybe it was the shampoo and she's chewing her fur.... in one spot? In the shape of a rectangle? I think not. I was also told that I only got the basic package so they only cut the nails... but agin not answering why they left them like that!! Needless to say do not send your dogs here. The grooming use to be great and now it is a 60$ half assed job. They need to train the grooming staff a little better And maybe some of the employees who have them WORST ATTITUDES EVER. read more

Drove 20 minutes to use the self wash dog service. Arrived 30 minutes before close and was told I couldn't use the service because they needed time to clean it so they can go home on time. Nowhere in the website is there anything about the wash service being unavailable 30 minutes before close, it was not put out. If you are still open, all your services should still be available, unless otherwise stated. You can clean when you're closed like a good, customer friendly business would do. Or, you could have let us know about the rule but let us wash since we made the trip. Customer service was placed last in the priority list here. I can see why your average Yelp review is 3.5 stars.
