We got a call about an hour later that one of them scratched the groomer and we need to come get them. We came back and were very apologetic, and did not do the "MY cat NEVER does that!" routine--they're cats. They will be aggressive at times. That being said, all of our cats have been groomed before with no issues. The lady (the owner, I think?) was hearing none of it and was very rude to us no matter how much we apologized. It became clear quickly when we got home that this groomer clearly has no experience with cats nor any desire to groom cats. It looks like they used canine nail clippers on them (picture attached) and the cats were very spooked. If you don't like cats, just groom dogs! Why even advertise that you groom cats?

He popped into the crate without a goodbye to me. I've been told by several groomers that cutting a Terrier's hair is difficult. I was in and out with Friskies cat food. I found the store to be very organized and clean. There were a lot of options for cat food. There were a lot of fun options for dogs. My favorite was hiking gear and hiking beds for dogs. Some of the leashes, collars, and clothes were highly reflective. I felt it was a great idea to dress up your companion for hiking. Even though my dogs wouldn't agree. Few things concerned me. I'm a noticer though many customers wouldn't probably notice these things. First is cat grass by the checkout was pretty badly wilted. Not just one of the pots but multiple. It made me question the longevity of this pet grass after purchase. Second is I was standing by the cat adoption area and noticed that litter boxes were not clean. Not for the one cat that was there and not in the empty spaces. This really made me think whether the same happens in the pet hotel. I don't board my pets at PetSmart but mentioning this for the sake of anyone who does.
