On the few occasions I've been by, it's been for a vaccination clinic. As someone with three dogs, it feels like one of them is always due for a vaccination and I do appreciate that offer these clinics, which are usually more reasonably priced than going to the veterinarian. Everyone we've encountered here has been helpful and friendly. This won't likely ever become a regular stop but happy they're here for the times when I need them!

So much for the free exam from the Human Society. They offer "Happy Visits" for the animals to get comfortable with coming into the vets office. I have never had a dog that was this uncomfortable or scared to come into a building before. We went a 2nd time and again a horrible experience there was NOTHING HAPPY about it. I called 3 days ahead of time to see if I needed an appt. to get another heartworm pill and weight check was told no just come in so I did early was told it she would be with me shortly 1.5 hours later we got a weight - then waited again and then got told no vet tech to approve the pill so they would text me when I could come get it - Never got that text or a call 4 days later called - put me on hold for 10 minutes and said we like you to have an appt. and blew the hole thing off. Horrible I would never go back! I was told that Management would call me to discuss - never heard back - calling the Human Society dont pay them they did nothing!

Then they gave him too high of a dosage, he had extremely slow breathing and couldn't lift his head. They brushed it off saying "he's just a sleepy kitty". We had to come in a different time for our dog, only because Blue Pearl was at capacity. Our dog was vomiting and had bloody diarrhea. She also wasn't moving her back legs. Our dog pooped in the lobby and the tech just rolled his eyes and said it's fine. I'm sorry, but if you don't have compassion then change careers. I gave a pat on our dogs head for leaving them a present though! They said it was a 4 hour wait but no one even looked at our dog to see how bad it was. Most places will start triage and fluids right away. How can you determine what is an emergency otherwise? After 20 minutes we got up and left. Seems like they're only good for putting animals down.

We took our Dachshund in on a Saturday morning to have him evaluated for strange behavior, he seemed scared and disoriented. We were greeted immediately and checked in at the desk. Just fyi it's $189 at the desk when you arrive (this will be counted toward your bill at the end.) We already knew it would be costly since it is considered an emergency dept. Next we were taken to a room and a history was taken from us and they then took our dog into the back for vital signs and the vet gave him a look over. They then brought him back to us to wait with us. We truly appreciated the fact that they didn't try to keep him away from us for lengthy periods and did not set him aside in a crate in the back to wait by himself. We submitted urine we caught outside because we weren't sure if he had an infection. As time went on this place got busy and busier! They had a few emergency cases arrive. Naturally those animals receive priority. Even though all the staff were busy they never appeared stressed out or short with anyone. They handled the business very well with pleasant attitudes. From what I saw most all pets were returned to their owners each time there was a waiting period. The lobby is very large with plenty of space. The clinic was very clean. There are benches that are very hard on your butt for lengthy waits--definitely bring a blanket or pillow to use for your bottom! We received a diagnosis that we had feared; for this our dog was prescribed anti inflammatory meds. And as soon as we return back to our home state will see our regular vet. Dr.sierra was amazing. She was patient, thorough and very transparent. She answered all questions and did not rush us. She encouraged us to call them or return if our pet worsened. We really felt our pet mattered to each staff member during our time there. We were there from approximately 09:35 - 3:30pm. All day basically. Bring your patience with you and be prepared to wait. Emergencies are going to present and the staff works very hard to care for all pets. We are grateful for them. Thank you Dr. Sierra, Tammy, Ethan, Heather and all the staff behind the scene that helped us.

I was told koi are very hardy, no issues. Unfortunately, about 5 days later, the new koi wasn't doing well and passed away. When we brought it back, at their direction, they said it was a bacterial infection the fish had WHEN WE BOUGHT IT and that it could spread to our other 15+ fish. About 48 hours later, our beloved 10 year old koi Captain started looking ill. We treated him with medicine from this store, another $25, but nothing improved. Captain passed a few days later. We are devastated. While they did reimburse us for the cost of the new koi, they took no ownership over infecting our pond and putting our fish at risk, nor did they tell us this was a possibility when we bought a new fish. We will never visit this store again.
