The store is lovely. However, since expanding and hiring the cashier, the prices have risen and the cashier is anything but helpful and personable. Rude to be quite honest. I was ready to check out, she was on the phone what sounded like a personal conversation, yet she continued on the phone with her back turned. That was the first encounter. Second encounter, I decided against a flower arrangement because of the cost. Chose a bouquet instead and she in an almost annoyed tone and expression, told me the price which happened to be the same as the arrangement. No eye contact or smile. I felt uncomfortable. I used Kerri for my recent farm wedding. She did a wonderful job. She was easy to work with and made beautiful arrangements. Her arrangements used a great many unusual flowers, including wild flowers. My bouquet was gorgeous, as were my bridesmaids. She delivered the bouquets in beautiful glass vases that could be used on the head table. She made floral table runners for our table that were stunning. We had originally asked for ivy or eucalyptus, but those were double the price of other greens. I really appreciated Kerri letting me know that fact and suggesting much less expensive greens. I was so very excited to visit this store as I have seen beautiful pictures and great reviews but I will not be going back. The store itself is beautiful with lovely items and flowers. However customer service is completely lacking. I decided on buying four cupcakes and a candle. The person at the cash register could not decide what paper bag to use and ended up messing up a cupcake. No apology, no replacement, no offer to compensate. What an incredible shop!!! We had our daughter's baby shower in Hopkinton 6/11/23 and had Kerri do the arrangements for it. I brought in special vases and asked her if she could match the colors and style of the flowers on our invitations. They came out beautiful!!! So many people commented on the beautiful flowers. And, I only gave them a weeks notice, but they never flinched :). They said of course and got right to work. I found out a couple days before our baby shower that Kerri had several weddings and funerals all that week/weekend but she never complained. Just got off the phone with my Mom, a definite flower snob, who had to tell me AGAIN how much she loved the flowers at my daughter's wedding this past weekend. Kerri of Petal and Crumb does it again! We've appreciated her great eye and skill locally for years and didn't even consider another vendor for such an important occasion. We knew we were in good hands with Kerri. My daughter had definite ideas of what she wanted, but doesn't know a great deal about flowers so couldn't really give strong direction. Kerri listened well, asked great questions, and created the perfect floral accents for the bridal party, reception tables, altar arrangements and more. Her price was beyond reasonable and her attention to detail was great. My mom was quite pleased that her wrist corsage came on a pretty bracelet and not just a piece of elastic. I appreciated that the bridal and bridesmaid bouquets were all left in individual vases of water, ensuring they'd stay fresh until we needed. When asked who our flower vendor was, the manager at the event venue smiled and was very pleased -- such a relief when one vendor agrees with a choice you've made!
